¹ But of the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I write unto you.

³ And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of your coming, and of the end of the world?

³⁶ But of that day and hour knows no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

³⁰ Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass away, till all these things be done. ³¹ Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. ³² But of that day and that hour knows no man, no, not the angels who are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.

⁷ And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father has put in his own power.

¹ For concerning the ministering to the saints, it is unnecessary for me to write to you:

⁹ But concerning brotherly love you need not that I write unto you: for you yourselves are taught of God to love one another.

³ Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was necessary for me to write unto you, and exhort you that you should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
