³ For I shall see thy heavens, the work of thy fingers; the moon and the stars which thou didst prepare.

¹ In the beginning God formed the heavens and the earth.

² Great the works of Jehovah, sought out to all their desires.

⁷ To him making great lights: for his mercy is forever. ⁸ The sun for the rulings in the day: for his mercy is forever. ⁹ The moon and the stars for rulings in the night: for his mercy is forever.

³ Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise ye him all the stars of light.

²⁰ And if by the finger of God I cast out demons, then has the kingdom of God got beforehand to you.

²⁰ For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world, being understood by things made, are inspected, truly both his eternal power and divinity; so that they are inexcusable:
