¹⁴ And to the angel of the church in Laodicea write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;

²² The LORD made me as the beginning of His way, the first of His works of old.

⁴ Behold, I have given him for a witness to the peoples, a prince and commander to the peoples.

¹⁶ So that he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself by the God of truth; and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from Mine eyes.

⁵ Then they said to Jeremiah: 'The LORD be a true and faithful witness against us, if we do not even according to all the word wherewith the LORD thy God shall send thee to us.

²⁰ For how many soever be the promises of God, in him is the yea; wherefore also through him is the Amen, unto the glory of God through us.

¹⁵ who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation,

¹⁸ And he is the head of the body, the church; who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things he might have the preeminence.

¹ For I would have you know how greatly I strive for you, and for them at Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh,

¹⁶ And when this epistle hath been read among you, cause that it be read also in the church of the Laodiceans, and that ye also read the epistle from Laodicea.

⁵ and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loveth us, and loosed us from our sins by his blood,

¹¹ saying, What thou seest, write in a book and send it to the seven churches; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamum, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.

¹ To the angel of the church in Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, he that walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;

⁷ And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth and none shutteth, save he that openeth, and none openeth.

¹¹ And I saw the heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and he that sat thereon is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

⁶ And he said unto me, It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

⁶ And he saith unto me, These words are faithful and true; and the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, sent his angels to show unto his servants the things which must shortly come to pass.
