²⁴ How manifold are Thy works, O LORD! In wisdom hast Thou made them all; the earth is full of Thy creatures.

¹¹ And God said: 'Let the earth put forth grass, herb yielding seed, and fruit-tree bearing fruit after its kind, wherein is the seed thereof, upon the earth.' And it was so. ¹² And the earth brought forth grass, herb yielding seed after its kind, and tree bearing fruit, wherein is the seed thereof, after its kind; and God saw that it was good.

²⁴ And God said: 'Let the earth bring forth the living creature after its kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after its kind.' And it was so. ²⁵ And God made the beast of the earth after its kind, and the cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the ground after its kind; and God saw that it was good.

³¹ And God saw every thing that He had made, and, behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.

⁶ Thou art the LORD, even Thou alone; Thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth and all things that are thereon, the seas and all that is in them, and Thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth Thee.

⁹ Who doeth great things and unsearchable, marvellous things without number;

³ (8:4) When I behold Thy heavens, the work of Thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which Thou hast established;

¹ A Psalm of David. The earth is the LORD'S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.

⁵ (40:6) Many things hast Thou done, O LORD my God, even Thy wonderful works, and Thy thoughts toward us; there is none to be compared unto Thee! If I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be told.

¹⁰ For every beast of the forest is Mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills. ¹¹ I know all the fowls of the mountains; and the wild beasts of the field are Mine. ¹² If I were hungry, I would not tell thee; for the world is Mine, and the fulness thereof.

¹¹ (65:12) Thou crownest the year with Thy goodness; and Thy paths drop fatness.

³¹ Let them give thanks unto the LORD for His mercy, and for His wonderful works to the children of men!

⁵ To Him that by understanding made the heavens, for His mercy endureth for ever.

¹⁹ The LORD by wisdom founded the earth; by understanding He established the heavens. ²⁰ By His knowledge the depths were broken up, and the skies drop down the dew.

²² The LORD made me as the beginning of His way, the first of His works of old. ²³ I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was. ²⁴ When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water. ²⁵ Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth; ²⁶ While as yet He had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the beginning of the dust of the world. ²⁷ When He established the heavens, I was there; when He set a circle upon the face of the deep, ²⁸ When He made firm the skies above, when the fountains of the deep showed their might, ²⁹ When He gave to the sea His decree, that the waters should not transgress His commandment, when He appointed the foundations of the earth; ³⁰ Then I was by Him, as a nursling; and I was daily all delight, playing always before Him, ³¹ Playing in His habitable earth, and my delights are with the sons of men. ³² Now therefore, ye children, hearken unto me; for happy are they that keep my ways. ³³ Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not. ³⁴ Happy is the man that hearkeneth to me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors. ³⁵ For whoso findeth me findeth life, and obtaineth favour of the LORD. ³⁶ But he that misseth me wrongeth his own soul; all they that hate me love death.'

¹² He that hath made the earth by His power, that hath established the world by His wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by His understanding;

³³ O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and the knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past tracing out!

⁸ which he made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence,

¹⁰ to the intent that now unto the principalities and the powers in the heavenly places might be made known through the church the manifold wisdom of God,

¹⁷ Charge them that are rich in this present world, that they be not highminded, nor have their hope set on the uncertainty of riches, but on the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy,
