³² Let the Christ, the King of Israel, now come down from the cross, that we may see and believe on him. And they that were crucified with him reproached him.

⁶ Thus saith the LORD, the King of Israel, and his Redeemer the LORD of hosts: I am the first, and I am the last, and beside Me there is no God.

¹⁵ The LORD hath taken away thy judgments, He hath cast out thine enemy; The King of Israel, even the LORD, is in the midst of thee; thou shalt not fear evil any more.

⁹ Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion, shout, O daughter of Jerusalem; behold, thy king cometh unto thee, he is triumphant, and victorious, lowly, and riding upon an ass, even upon a colt the foal of an ass.

¹⁷ So all the generations from Abraham unto David are fourteen generations, and from David unto the carrying away to Babylon fourteen generations, and from the carrying away to Babylon unto the Christ fourteen generations.

⁴⁴ And the robbers also that were crucified with him cast upon him the same reproach.

⁶¹ But he held his peace, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked him, and saith unto him, Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed? ⁶² And Jesus said, I am; and ye shall see the Son of man sitting at the right hand of Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven.

²⁶ And the superscription of his accusation was written over, THE KING OF THE JEWS.

³⁹ And one of the malefactors that were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou art the Christ, save thyself and us. ⁴⁰ But the other answered, and rebuking him said, Dost thou not even fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation? ⁴¹ And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds; but this man hath done nothing amiss. ⁴² And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest in thy kingdom. ⁴³ And he said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in Paradise.

⁴⁹ Nathanael answered him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God, thou art the King of Israel.

¹³ took the branches of the palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried out, Hosanna; Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord—the King of Israel.

¹² Upon this Pilate sought to release him; but the Jews cried out, saying, If thou release this man, thou art not Caesar's friend; every one that maketh himself a king speaketh against Caesar. ¹³ When Pilate therefore heard these words, he brought Jesus out, and sat down on the judgment-seat at a place called The Pavement, but in Hebrew, Gabbatha. ¹⁴ Now it was the Preparation of the passover; it was about the sixth hour. And he saith unto the Jews, Behold, your King! ¹⁵ They therefore cried out, Away with him, away with him, crucify him! Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Caesar.

²⁵ The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe. ²⁶ And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them. Jesus cometh, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you. ²⁷ Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and see my hands, and reach hither thy hand, and put it into my side; and be not faithless, but believing. ²⁸ Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. ²⁹ Jesus saith unto him, Because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed; blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

³ For what if some were without faith? shall their want of faith make of none effect the faithfulness of God?

¹⁸ men who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already, and overthrow the faith of some.
