1 Chronicles 10:1-14

1 H6430 ופלשׁתים Now the Philistines H3898 נלחמו fought H3478 בישׂראל against Israel; H5127 וינס fled H376 אישׁ and the men H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H6440 מפני from before H6430 פלשׁתים the Philistines, H5307 ויפלו and fell down H2491 חללים slain H2022 בהר in mount H1533 גלבע׃ Gilboa.

2 H1692 וידבקו followed hard H6430 פלשׁתים And the Philistines H310 אחרי after H7586 שׁאול Saul, H310 ואחרי and after H1121 בניו his sons; H5221 ויכו slew H6430 פלשׁתים and the Philistines H853 את H3129 יונתן Jonathan, H853 ואת H41 אבינדב and Abinadab, H853 ואת H4444 מלכי שׁוע and Malchi-shua, H1121 בני the sons H7586 שׁאול׃ of Saul.

9 H6584 ויפשׁיטהו And when they had stripped H5375 וישׂאו him, they took H853 את H7218 ראשׁו his head, H853 ואת H3627 כליו and his armor, H7971 וישׁלחו and sent H776 בארץ into the land H6430 פלשׁתים of the Philistines H5439 סביב round about, H1319 לבשׂר to carry tidings H853 את H6091 עצביהם unto their idols, H853 ואת H5971 העם׃ and to the people.

10 H7760 וישׂימו And they put H853 את H3627 כליו his armor H1004 בית in the house H430 אלהיהם of their gods, H853 ואת H1538 גלגלתו his head H8628 תקעו and fastened H1004 בית in the temple H1712 דגון׃ of Dagon.

11 H8085 וישׁמעו heard H3605 כל And when all H3003 יבישׁ H1568 גלעד H853 את H3605 כל all H834 אשׁר that H6213 עשׂו had done H6430 פלשׁתים the Philistines H7586 לשׁאול׃ to Saul,

13 H4191 וימת died H7586 שׁאול So Saul H4603 במעלו he committed H834 אשׁר which H4604 מעל for his transgression H3068 ביהוה against the LORD, H5921 על against H1697 דבר the word H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H834 אשׁר which H3808 לא not, H8104 שׁמר he kept H1571 וגם and also H7592 לשׁאול for asking H178 באוב of a familiar spirit, H1875 לדרושׁ׃ to inquire
