  2 H7971 וישׁלח sent H3068 יהוה And the LORD H853 בו את   H1416 גדודי against him bands H3778 כשׂדים of the Chaldees, H853 ואת   H1416 גדודי and bands H758 ארם of the Syrians, H853 ואת   H1416 גדודי and bands H4124 מואב of the Moabites, H853 ואת   H1416 גדודי and bands H1121 בני of the children H5983 עמון of Ammon, H7971 וישׁלחם and sent H3063 ביהודה them against Judah H6 להאבידו to destroy H1697 כדבר it, according to the word H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H834 אשׁר which H1696 דבר he spoke H3027 ביד by H5650 עבדיו his servants H5030 הנביאים׃ the prophets.

  3 H389 אך Surely H5921 על at H6310 פי the commandment H3068 יהוה of the LORD H1961 היתה came H3063 ביהודה upon Judah, H5493 להסיר to remove H5921 מעל out of H6440 פניו his sight, H2403 בחטאת for the sins H4519 מנשׁה of Manasseh, H3605 ככל according to all H834 אשׁר that H6213 עשׂה׃ he did;

  4 H1571 וגם And also H1818 דם blood H5355 הנקי for the innocent H834 אשׁר that H8210 שׁפך he shed: H4390 וימלא for he filled H853 את   H3389 ירושׁלם Jerusalem H1818 דם blood; H5355 נקי with innocent H3808 ולא not H14 אבה would H3068 יהוה which the LORD H5545 לסלח׃ pardon.

  5 H3499 ויתר Now the rest H1697 דברי of the acts H3079 יהויקים of Jehoiakim, H3605 וכל and all H834 אשׁר that H6213 עשׂה he did, H3808 הלא not H1992 הם they H3789 כתובים written H5921 על in H5612 ספר the book H1697 דברי of the chronicles H3117 הימים of the chronicles H4428 למלכי of the kings H3063 יהודה׃ of Judah?

  6 H7901 וישׁכב slept H3079 יהויקים So Jehoiakim H5973 עם with H1 אבתיו his fathers: H4427 וימלך reigned H3078 יהויכין and Jehoiachin H1121 בנו his son H8478 תחתיו׃ in his stead.

  7 H3808 ולא not H3254 הסיף again H5750 עוד any more H4428 מלך And the king H4714 מצרים of Egypt H3318 לצאת came H776 מארצו out of his land: H3588 כי for H3947 לקח had taken H4428 מלך the king H894 בבל of Babylon H5158 מנחל the river H4714 מצרים of Egypt H5704 עד unto H5104 נהר from the river H6578 פרת Euphrates H3605 כל all H834 אשׁר that H1961 היתה pertained H4428 למלך to the king H4714 מצרים׃ of Egypt.

H4427 מלך and he reigned H3389 בירושׁלם in Jerusalem H8034 ושׁם name H517 אמו And his mother's H5179 נחשׁתא Nehushta, H1323 בת the daughter H494 אלנתן of Elnathan H3389 מירושׁלם׃  

  9 H6213 ויעשׂ And he did H7451 הרע evil H5869 בעיני in the sight H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H3605 ככל according to all H834 אשׁר that H6213 עשׂה had done. H1 אביו׃ his father

  17 H4427 וימלך made H4428 מלך And the king H894 בבל of Babylon H853 את   H4983 מתניה Mattaniah H1730 דדו his father's brother H8478 תחתיו in his stead, H5437 ויסב and changed H853 את   H8034 שׁמו his name H6667 צדקיהו׃ to Zedekiah.

  18 H1121 בן old H6242 עשׂרים twenty H259 ואחת and one H8141 שׁנה years H6667 צדקיהו Zedekiah H4427 במלכו when he began to reign, H259 ואחת eleven H6240 עשׂרה eleven H8141 שׁנה years H4427 מלך and he reigned H3389 בירושׁלם in Jerusalem. H8034 ושׁם name H517 אמו And his mother's H2537 חמיטל Hamutal, H1323 בת the daughter H3414 ירמיהו of Jeremiah H3841 מלבנה׃  

  19 H6213 ויעשׂ And he did H7451 הרע evil H5869 בעיני in the sight H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H3605 ככל according to all H834 אשׁר that H6213 עשׂה had done. H3079 יהויקים׃ Jehoiakim

  20 H3588 כי For H5921 על through H639 אף the anger H3068 יהוה of the LORD H1961 היתה it came to pass H3389 בירושׁלם in Jerusalem H3063 וביהודה and Judah, H5704 עד until H7993 השׁלכו   H853 אתם   H5921 מעל from H6440 פניו his presence, H4775 וימרד rebelled H6667 צדקיהו that Zedekiah H4428 במלך against the king H894 בבל׃ of Babylon.

  17 H8083 שׁמנה eighteen H6240 עשׂרה eighteen H520 אמה cubits, H6967 קומת The height H5982 העמוד pillar H259 האחד of the one H3805 וכתרת and the chapiter H5921 עליו upon H5178 נחשׁת it brass: H6967 וקומת and the height H3805 הכתרת of the chapiter H7969 שׁלשׁ three H520 אמה cubits; H7639 ושׂבכה and the wreathen work, H7416 ורמנים and pomegranates H5921 על upon H3805 הכתרת the chapiter H5439 סביב round about, H3605 הכל all H5178 נחשׁת of brass: H428 וכאלה and like unto these H5982 לעמוד pillar H8145 השׁני had the second H5921 על with H7639 השׂבכה׃ wreathen work.

  18 H3947 ויקח took H7227 רב And the captain H2876 טבחים of the guard H853 את   H8304 שׂריה Seraiah H3548 כהן priest, H7218 הראשׁ the chief H853 ואת   H6846 צפניהו and Zephaniah H3548 כהן priest, H4932 משׁנה the second H853 ואת   H7969 שׁלשׁת and the three H8104 שׁמרי keepers H5592 הסף׃ of the door:

  19 H4480 ומן And out of H5892 העיר the city H3947 לקח he took H5631 סריס officer H259 אחד an H834 אשׁר that H1931 הוא that H6496 פקיד was set H5921 על over H582 אנשׁי   H4421 המלחמה of war, H2568 וחמשׁה and five H582 אנשׁים   H7200 מראי of them that were H6440 פני presence, H4428 המלך in the king's H834 אשׁר which H4672 נמצאו were found H5892 בעיר in the city, H853 ואת   H5608 הספר scribe H8269 שׂר and the principal H6635 הצבא of the host, H6633 המצבא which mustered H853 את   H5971 עם the people H776 הארץ of the land, H8346 ושׁשׁים and threescore H376 אישׁ the men H5971 מעם of the people H776 הארץ of the land H4672 הנמצאים found H5892 בעיר׃ in the city:

  20 H3947 ויקח took H853 אתם   H5018 נבוזראדן And Nebuzaradan H7227 רב captain H2876 טבחים of the guard H1980 וילך these, and brought H853 אתם   H5921 על them to H4428 מלך the king H894 בבל of Babylon H7247 רבלתה׃ to Riblah:

  21 H5221 ויך smote H853 אתם   H4428 מלך And the king H894 בבל of Babylon H4191 וימיתם them, and slew H7247 ברבלה them at Riblah H776 בארץ in the land H2574 חמת of Hamath. H1540 ויגל was carried away H3063 יהודה So Judah H5921 מעל out of H127 אדמתו׃ their land.

  22 H5971 והעם And the people H7604 הנשׁאר that remained H776 בארץ in the land H3063 יהודה of Judah, H834 אשׁר whom H7604 השׁאיר had left, H5019 נבוכדנאצר Nebuchadnezzar H4428 מלך king H894 בבל of Babylon H6485 ויפקד ruler. H5921 עליהם even over H853 את   H1436 גדליהו them he made Gedaliah H1121 בן the son H296 אחיקם of Ahikam, H1121 בן the son H8227 שׁפן׃ of Shaphan,

  23 H8085 וישׁמעו heard H3605 כל And when all H8269 שׂרי the captains H2428 החילים of the armies, H1992 המה they H376 והאנשׁים and their men, H3588 כי that H6485 הפקיד governor, H4428 מלך the king H894 בבל of Babylon H853 את   H1436 גדליהו had made Gedaliah H935 ויבאו there came H413 אל to H1436 גדליהו Gedaliah H4709 המצפה to Mizpah, H3458 וישׁמעאל even Ishmael H1121 בן the son H5418 נתניה of Nethaniah, H3110 ויוחנן and Johanan H1121 בן the son H7143 קרח of Careah, H8304 ושׂריה and Seraiah H1121 בן the son H8576 תנחמת of Tanhumeth H5200 הנטפתי the Netophathite, H2970 ויאזניהו and Jaazaniah H1121 בן the son H4602 המעכתי of a Maachathite, H1992 המה they H376 ואנשׁיהם׃ and their men.

  24 H7650 וישׁבע swore H1436 להם גדליהו And Gedaliah H376 ולאנשׁיהם to them, and to their men, H559 ויאמר and said H408 להם אל not H3372 תיראו unto them, Fear H5650 מעבדי to be the servants H3778 הכשׂדים of the Chaldees: H3427 שׁבו dwell H776 בארץ in the land, H5647 ועבדו and serve H853 את   H4428 מלך the king H894 בבל of Babylon; H3190 ויטב׃ and it shall be well

  25 H1961 ויהי But it came to pass H2320 בחדשׁ month, H7637 השׁביעי in the seventh H935 בא came, H3458 ישׁמעאל that Ishmael H1121 בן the son H5418 נתניה of Nethaniah, H1121 בן the son H476 אלישׁמע of Elishama, H2233 מזרע of the seed H4410 המלוכה royal, H6235 ועשׂרה and ten H376 אנשׁים men H854 אתו with H5221 ויכו him, and smote H853 את   H1436 גדליהו Gedaliah, H4191 וימת that he died, H853 ואת   H3064 היהודים and the Jews H853 ואת   H3778 הכשׂדים and the Chaldees H834 אשׁר that H1961 היו were H854 אתו with H4709 במצפה׃ him at Mizpah.

  26 H6965 ויקמו arose, H3605 כל And all H5971 העם the people, H6996 מקטן both small H5704 ועד   H1419 גדול and great, H8269 ושׂרי and the captains H2428 החילים of the armies, H935 ויבאו and came H4714 מצרים to Egypt: H3588 כי for H3372 יראו they were afraid H6440 מפני of H3778 כשׂדים׃ the Chaldees.

  27 H1961 ויהי And it came to pass H7970 בשׁלשׁים and thirtieth H7651 ושׁבע in the seven H8141 שׁנה year H1546 לגלות of the captivity H3078 יהויכין of Jehoiachin H4428 מלך king H3063 יהודה of Judah, H8147 בשׁנים in the twelfth H6240 עשׂר in the twelfth H2320 חדשׁ month, H6242 בעשׂרים and twentieth H7651 ושׁבעה on the seven H2320 לחדשׁ of the month, H5375 נשׂא did lift up H192 אויל מרדך Evilmerodach H4428 מלך king H894 בבל of Babylon H8141 בשׁנת in the year H4427 מלכו that he began to reign H853 את   H7218 ראשׁ the head H3078 יהויכין of Jehoiachin H4428 מלך king H3063 יהודה of Judah H1004 מבית   H3608 כלא׃  

  28 H1696 וידבר And he spoke H854 אתו to H2896 טבות kindly H5414 ויתן him, and set H853 את   H3678 כסאו his throne H5921 מעל above H3678 כסא the throne H4428 המלכים of the kings H834 אשׁר that H854 אתו with H894 בבבל׃ him in Babylon;

  29 H8132 ושׁנא And changed H853 את   H899 בגדי garments: H3608 כלאו his prison H398 ואכל and he did eat H3899 לחם bread H8548 תמיד continually H6440 לפניו before H3605 כל him all H3117 ימי the days H2416 חייו׃ of his life.

  30 H737 וארחתו And his allowance H737 ארחת allowance H8548 תמיד a continual H5414 נתנה given H853 לו מאת   H4428 המלך the king, H1697 דבר rate H3117 יום a daily H3117 ביומו for every day, H3605 כל all H3117 ימי the days H2416 חיו׃ of his life.

  15 H1121 ובני And the sons H2977 יאשׁיהו of Josiah H1060 הבכור the firstborn H3110 יוחנן Johanan, H8145 השׁני the second H3079 יהויקים Jehoiakim, H7992 השׁלשׁי the third H6667 צדקיהו Zedekiah, H7243 הרביעי the fourth H7967 שׁלום׃ Shallum.

  5 H1121 בן old H6242 עשׂרים twenty H2568 וחמשׁ and five H8141 שׁנה years H3079 יהויקים Jehoiakim H4427 במלכו when he began to reign, H259 ואחת eleven H6240 עשׂרה eleven H8141 שׁנה years H4427 מלך and he reigned H3389 בירושׁלם in Jerusalem: H6213 ויעשׂ and he did H7451 הרע evil H5869 בעיני in the sight H3068 יהוה of the LORD H430 אלהיו׃ his God.

  6 H5921 עליו Against H5927 עלה him came up H5019 נבוכדנאצר Nebuchadnezzar H4428 מלך king H894 בבל of Babylon, H631 ויאסרהו and bound H5178 בנחשׁתים him in fetters, H1980 להליכו to carry H894 בבלה׃ him to Babylon.

  7 H3627 ומכלי of the vessels H1004 בית of the house H3068 יהוה of the LORD H935 הביא also carried H5019 נבוכדנאצר Nebuchadnezzar H894 לבבל to Babylon, H5414 ויתנם and put H1964 בהיכלו them in his temple H894 בבבל׃ at Babylon.

  8 H3499 ויתר Now the rest H1697 דברי of the acts H3079 יהויקים of Jehoiakim, H8441 ותעבתיו and his abominations H834 אשׁר which H6213 עשׂה he did, H4672 והנמצא and that which was found H5921 עליו in H2005 הנם   H3789 כתובים they written H5921 על in H5612 ספר the book H4428 מלכי of the kings H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H3063 ויהודה and Judah: H4427 וימלך reigned H3078 יהויכין and Jehoiachin H1121 בנו his son H8478 תחתיו׃ in his stead.

  11 H1121 בן old H6242 עשׂרים and twenty H259 ואחת one H8141 שׁנה years H6667 צדקיהו Zedekiah H4427 במלכו when he began to reign, H259 ואחת eleven H6240 עשׂרה eleven H8141 שׁנה years H4427 מלך and reigned H3389 בירושׁלם׃ in Jerusalem.

  12 H6213 ויעשׂ And he did H7451 הרע evil H5869 בעיני in the sight H3068 יהוה of the LORD H430 אלהיו his God, H3808 לא humbled not himself H3665 נכנע humbled not himself H6440 מלפני before H3414 ירמיהו Jeremiah H5030 הנביא the prophet H6310 מפי from the mouth H3068 יהוה׃ of the LORD.

  13 H1571 וגם And he also H4428 במלך against king H5019 נבוכדנאצר Nebuchadnezzar, H4775 מרד rebelled H834 אשׁר who H7650 השׁביעו had made him swear H430 באלהים by God: H7185 ויקשׁ but he stiffened H853 את   H6203 ערפו his neck, H553 ויאמץ and hardened H853 את   H3824 לבבו his heart H7725 משׁוב from turning H413 אל unto H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהי God H3478 ישׂראל׃ of Israel.

  14 H1571 גם Moreover H3605 כל all H8269 שׂרי the chief H3548 הכהנים of the priests, H5971 והעם and the people, H7235 הרבו transgressed very much H4603 למעול   H4603 מעל   H3605 ככל after all H8441 תעבות the abominations H1471 הגוים of the heathen; H2930 ויטמאו and polluted H853 את   H1004 בית the house H3068 יהוה of the LORD H834 אשׁר which H6942 הקדישׁ he had hallowed H3389 בירושׁלם׃ in Jerusalem.

  15 H7971 וישׁלח sent H3068 יהוה And the LORD H430 אלהי God H1 אבותיהם of their fathers H5921 עליהם to H3027 ביד them by H4397 מלאכיו his messengers, H7925 השׁכם rising up quickly, H7971 ושׁלוח and sending; H3588 כי because H2550 חמל he had compassion H5921 על on H5971 עמו his people, H5921 ועל and on H4583 מעונו׃ his dwelling place:

  16 H1961 ויהיו   H3931 מלעבים   H4397 במלאכי the messengers H430 האלהים of God, H959 ובוזים and despised H1697 דבריו his words, H8591 ומתעתעים and misused H5030 בנבאיו his prophets, H5704 עד until H5927 עלות arose H2534 חמת the wrath H3068 יהוה of the LORD H5971 בעמו against his people, H5704 עד till H369 לאין no H4832 מרפא׃ remedy.

  17 H5927 ויעל Therefore he brought H5921 עליהם upon H853 את   H4428 מלך them the king H3778 כשׂדיים of the Chaldees, H2026 ויהרג who slew H970 בחוריהם their young men H2719 בחרב with the sword H1004 בבית in the house H4720 מקדשׁם of their sanctuary, H3808 ולא and had no compassion H2550 חמל and had no compassion H5921 על upon H970 בחור young man H1330 ובתולה or maiden, H2205 זקן old man, H3486 וישׁשׁ or him that stooped for age: H3605 הכל all H5414 נתן he gave H3027 בידו׃ into his hand.

  18 H3605 וכל And all H3627 כלי the vessels H1004 בית of the house H430 האלהים of God, H1419 הגדלים great H6996 והקטנים and small, H214 ואצרות and the treasures H1004 בית of the house H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H214 ואצרות and the treasures H4428 המלך of the king, H8269 ושׂריו and of his princes; H3605 הכל all H935 הביא he brought H894 בבל׃ to Babylon.

  19 H8313 וישׂרפו And they burnt H853 את   H1004 בית the house H430 האלהים of God, H5422 וינתצו and broke down H853 את   H2346 חומת the wall H3389 ירושׁלם of Jerusalem, H3605 וכל all H759 ארמנותיה the palaces H8313 שׂרפו and burnt H784 באשׁ thereof with fire, H3605 וכל all H3627 כלי vessels H4261 מחמדיה the goodly H7843 להשׁחית׃ and destroyed

  20 H1540 ויגל carried he away H7611 השׁארית And them that had escaped H4480 מן from H2719 החרב the sword H413 אל to H894 בבל Babylon; H1961 ויהיו where they were H1121 לו ולבניו to him and his sons H5650 לעבדים servants H5704 עד until H4427 מלך the reign H4438 מלכות of the kingdom H6539 פרס׃ of Persia:

  21 H4390 למלאות To fulfill H1697 דבר the word H3068 יהוה of the LORD H6310 בפי by the mouth H3414 ירמיהו of Jeremiah, H5704 עד until H7521 רצתה had enjoyed H776 הארץ the land H853 את   H7676 שׁבתותיה her sabbaths: H3605 כל as long as H3117 ימי as long as H8074 השׁמה she lay desolate H7673 שׁבתה she kept sabbath, H4390 למלאות to fulfill H7657 שׁבעים threescore and ten H8141 שׁנה׃ years.

  1 H1697 הדבר The word H834 אשׁר which H1961 היה came H413 אל unto H3414 ירמיהו Jeremiah H853 מאת   H3068 יהוה the LORD, H7971 בשׁלח sent H413 אליו unto H4428 המלך when king H6667 צדקיהו Zedekiah H853 את   H6583 פשׁחור him Pashur H1121 בן the son H4441 מלכיה of Melchiah, H853 ואת   H6846 צפניה and Zephaniah H1121 בן the son H4641 מעשׂיה of Maaseiah H3548 הכהן the priest, H559 לאמר׃ saying,

  2 H1875 דרשׁ Inquire, H4994 נא I pray thee, H1157 בעדנו for H853 את   H3068 יהוה of the LORD H3588 כי us; for H5019 נבוכדראצר Nebuchadnezzar H4428 מלך king H894 בבל of Babylon H3898 נלחם maketh war H5921 עלינו against H194 אולי us; if so be H6213 יעשׂה will deal H3068 יהוה that the LORD H854 אותנו with H3605 ככל us according to all H6381 נפלאתיו his wondrous works, H5927 ויעלה that he may go up H5921 מעלינו׃ from

  3 H559 ויאמר Then said H3414 ירמיהו Jeremiah H413 אליהם unto H3541 כה them, Thus H559 תאמרן shall ye say H413 אל to H6667 צדקיהו׃ Zedekiah:

  4 H3541 כה Thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהי God H3478 ישׂראל of Israel; H2005 הנני   H5437 מסב I will turn back H853 את   H3627 כלי the weapons H4421 המלחמה of war H834 אשׁר that H3027 בידכם in your hands, H834 אשׁר wherewith H859 אתם ye H3898 נלחמים fight H853 בם את   H4428 מלך against the king H894 בבל of Babylon, H853 ואת   H3778 הכשׂדים and the Chaldeans, H6696 הצרים which besiege H5921 עליכם which besiege H2351 מחוץ you without H2346 לחומה the walls, H622 ואספתי and I will assemble H853 אותם   H413 אל them into H8432 תוך the midst H5892 העיר city.   5 H3898 ונלחמתי will fight H589 אני And I myself H854 אתכם against H3027 ביד hand H5186 נטויה you with an outstretched H2220 ובזרוע arm, H2389 חזקה and with a strong H639 ובאף even in anger, H2534 ובחמה and in fury, H7110 ובקצף wrath. H1419 גדול׃ and in great

  6 H5221 והכיתי And I will smite H853 את   H3427 יושׁבי the inhabitants H5892 העיר city, H2063 הזאת of this H853 ואת   H120 האדם both man H853 ואת   H929 הבהמה and beast: H1698 בדבר pestilence. H1419 גדול of a great H4191 ימתו׃ they shall die

  7 H310 ואחרי   H3651 כן   H5002 נאם saith H3068 יהוה the LORD, H5414 אתן I will deliver H853 את   H6667 צדקיהו Zedekiah H4428 מלך king H3063 יהודה of Judah, H853 ואת   H5650 עבדיו and his servants, H853 ואת   H5971 העם and the people, H853 ואת   H7604 הנשׁארים and such as are left H5892 בעיר city H2063 הזאת in this H4480 מן from H1698 הדבר the pestilence, H4480 מן from H2719 החרב the sword, H4480 ומן and from H7458 הרעב the famine, H3027 ביד into the hand H5019 נבוכדראצר of Nebuchadnezzar H4428 מלך king H894 בבל of Babylon, H3027 וביד and into the hand H341 איביהם of their enemies, H3027 וביד and into the hand H1245 מבקשׁי of those that seek H5315 נפשׁם their life: H5221 והכם and he shall smite H6310 לפי them with the edge H2719 חרב of the sword; H3808 לא he shall not H2347 יחוס spare H5921 עליהם spare H3808 ולא them, neither H2550 יחמל have pity, H3808 ולא nor H7355 ירחם׃ have mercy.

  8 H413 ואל And unto H5971 העם people H2088 הזה this H559 תאמר thou shalt say, H3541 כה Thus H559 אמר saith H3069 יהוה   H2005 הנני   H5414 נתן I set H6440 לפניכם before H853 את   H1870 דרך you the way H2416 החיים of life, H853 ואת   H1870 דרך and the way H4194 המות׃ of death.

  9 H3427 הישׁב He that abideth H5892 בעיר city H2063 הזאת in this H4191 ימות shall die H2719 בחרב by the sword, H7458 וברעב and by the famine, H1698 ובדבר and by the pestilence: H3318 והיוצא but he that goeth out, H5307 ונפל and falleth H5921 על to H3778 הכשׂדים the Chaldeans H6696 הצרים that besiege H5921 עליכם that besiege H2421 יחיה you, he shall live, H1961 והיתה shall be H5315 לו נפשׁו and his life H7998 לשׁלל׃ unto him for a prey.

  10 H3588 כי For H7760 שׂמתי I have set H6440 פני my face H5892 בעיר city H2063 הזאת against this H7451 לרעה for evil, H3808 ולא and not H2896 לטובה for good, H5002 נאם saith H3068 יהוה the LORD: H3027 ביד into the hand H4428 מלך of the king H894 בבל of Babylon, H5414 תנתן it shall be given H8313 ושׂרפה and he shall burn H784 באשׁ׃ it with fire.

  11 H1004 ולבית And touching the house H4428 מלך of the king H3063 יהודה of Judah, H8085 שׁמעו Hear H1697 דבר ye the word H3068 יהוה׃ of the LORD;

  12 H1004 בית O house H1732 דוד of David, H3541 כה thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD; H1777 דינו Execute H1242 לבקר in the morning, H4941 משׁפט judgment H5337 והצילו and deliver H1497 גזול spoiled H3027 מיד out of the hand H6231 עושׁק of the oppressor, H6435 פן lest H3318 תצא go out H784 כאשׁ like fire, H2534 חמתי my fury H1197 ובערה and burn H369 ואין that none H3518 מכבה can quench H6440 מפני , because H7455 רע of the evil H4611 מעלליהם׃ of your doings.

  13 H2005 הנני   H413 אליך I against H3427 ישׁבת thee, O inhabitant H6010 העמק of the valley, H6697 צור rock H4334 המישׁר of the plain, H5002 נאם saith H3068 יהוה the LORD; H559 האמרים which say, H4310 מי Who H5181 יחת shall come down H5921 עלינו against H4310 ומי us? or who H935 יבוא shall enter H4585 במעונותינו׃ into our habitations?

  14 H6485 ופקדתי   H5921 עליכם   H6529 כפרי you according to the fruit H4611 מעלליכם of your doings, H5002 נאם saith H3068 יהוה the LORD: H3341 והצתי and I will kindle H784 אשׁ a fire H3293 ביערה in the forest H398 ואכלה thereof, and it shall devour H3605 כל all things H5439 סביביה׃ round about

  1 H1697 הדבר The word H834 אשׁר that H1961 היה came H5921 על to H3414 ירמיהו Jeremiah H5921 על concerning H3605 כל all H5971 עם the people H3063 יהודה of Judah H8141 בשׁנה year H7243 הרבעית in the fourth H3079 ליהויקים of Jehoiakim H1121 בן the son H2977 יאשׁיהו of Josiah H4428 מלך king H3063 יהודה of Judah, H1931 היא that H8141 השׁנה year H7224 הראשׁנית the first H5019 לנבוכדראצר of Nebuchadnezzar H4428 מלך king H894 בבל׃ of Babylon;

  2 H834 אשׁר The which H1696 דבר spoke H3414 ירמיהו Jeremiah H5030 הנביא the prophet H5921 על unto H3605 כל all H5971 עם the people H3063 יהודה of Judah, H413 ואל and to H3605 כל all H3427 ישׁבי the inhabitants H3389 ירושׁלם of Jerusalem, H559 לאמר׃ saying,

  3 H4480 מן From H7969 שׁלשׁ the thirteenth H6240 עשׂרה the thirteenth H8141 שׁנה year H2977 ליאשׁיהו of Josiah H1121 בן the son H526 אמון of Amon H4428 מלך king H3063 יהודה of Judah, H5704 ועד even unto H3117 היום day, H2088 הזה this H2088 זה that H7969 שׁלשׁ the three H6242 ועשׂרים and twentieth H8141 שׁנה year, H1961 היה hath come H1697 דבר the word H3068 יהוה of the LORD H413 אלי unto H1696 ואדבר me, and I have spoken H413 אליכם unto H7925 אשׁכים you, rising early H1696 ודבר and speaking; H3808 ולא but ye have not H8085 שׁמעתם׃ hearkened.

  1 H7225 בראשׁית In the beginning H4468 ממלכות of the reign H3079 יהויקים of Jehoiakim H1121 בן the son H2977 יאשׁיהו of Josiah H4428 מלך king H3063 יהודה of Judah H1961 היה came H1697 הדבר word H2088 הזה this H853 מאת   H3068 יהוה the LORD, H559 לאמר׃ saying,

  2 H3541 כה Thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD; H5975 עמד Stand H2691 בחצר in the court H1004 בית house, H3068 יהוה of the LORD's H1696 ודברת and speak H5921 על unto H3605 כל all H5892 ערי the cities H3063 יהודה of Judah, H935 הבאים which come H7812 להשׁתחות to worship H1004 בית house, H3068 יהוה in the LORD's H853 את   H3605 כל all H1697 הדברים the words H834 אשׁר that H6680 צויתיך I command H1696 לדבר thee to speak H413 אליהם unto H408 אל not H1639 תגרע them; diminish H1697 דבר׃ a word:

  3 H194 אולי If so be H8085 ישׁמעו they will hearken, H7725 וישׁבו and turn H376 אישׁ every man H1870 מדרכו way, H7451 הרעה from his evil H5162 ונחמתי that I may repent H413 אל me of H7451 הרעה the evil, H834 אשׁר which H595 אנכי I H2803 חשׁב purpose H6213 לעשׂות to do H6440 להם מפני unto them because H7455 רע of the evil H4611 מעלליהם׃ of their doings.

  4 H559 ואמרת And thou shalt say H413 אליהם unto H3541 כה them, Thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD; H518 אם If H3808 לא ye will not H8085 תשׁמעו hearken H413 אלי to H1980 ללכת me, to walk H8451 בתורתי in my law, H834 אשׁר which H5414 נתתי I have set H6440 לפניכם׃ before

  5 H8085 לשׁמע To hearken H5921 על to H1697 דברי the words H5650 עבדי of my servants H5030 הנבאים the prophets, H834 אשׁר whom H595 אנכי I H7971 שׁלח sent H413 אליכם unto H7925 והשׁכם you, both rising up early, H7971 ושׁלח and sending H3808 ולא but ye have not H8085 שׁמעתם׃ hearkened;

  6 H5414 ונתתי Then will I make H853 את   H1004 הבית house H2088 הזה this H7887 כשׁלה like Shiloh, H853 ואת   H5892 העיר city H2063 הזאתה this H5414 אתן and will make H7045 לקללה a curse H3605 לכל to all H1471 גויי the nations H776 הארץ׃ of the earth.

  7 H8085 וישׁמעו heard H3548 הכהנים So the priests H5030 והנבאים and the prophets H3605 וכל and all H5971 העם the people H853 את   H3414 ירמיהו Jeremiah H1696 מדבר speaking H853 את   H1697 הדברים words H428 האלה these H1004 בבית in the house H3068 יהוה׃ of the LORD.

  8 H1961 ויהי Now it came to pass, H3615 ככלות had made an end H3414 ירמיהו when Jeremiah H1696 לדבר of speaking H853 את   H3605 כל all H834 אשׁר that H6680 צוה had commanded H3068 יהוה the LORD H1696 לדבר to speak H413 אל unto H3605 כל all H5971 העם the people, H8610 ויתפשׂו took H853 אתו   H3548 הכהנים that the priests H5030 והנבאים and the prophets H3605 וכל and all H5971 העם the people H559 לאמר him, saying, H4191 מות   H4191 תמות׃  

  9 H4069 מדוע Why H5012 נבית hast thou prophesied H8034 בשׁם in the name H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H559 לאמר saying, H7887 כשׁלו like Shiloh, H1961 יהיה shall be H1004 הבית house H2088 הזה This H5892 והעיר city H2063 הזאת and this H2717 תחרב shall be desolate H369 מאין without H3427 יושׁב an inhabitant? H6950 ויקהל were gathered H3605 כל And all H5971 העם the people H413 אל against H3414 ירמיהו Jeremiah H1004 בבית in the house H3068 יהוה׃ of the LORD.

  10 H8085 וישׁמעו heard H8269 שׂרי When the princes H3063 יהודה of Judah H853 את   H1697 הדברים things, H428 האלה these H5927 ויעלו then they came up H1004 מבית house H4428 המלך from the king's H1004 בית unto the house H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H3427 וישׁבו and sat down H6607 בפתח in the entry H8179 שׁער gate H3068 יהוה of the LORD's H2319 החדשׁ׃ of the new

  11 H559 ויאמרו Then spoke H3548 הכהנים the priests H5030 והנבאים and the prophets H413 אל unto H8269 השׂרים the princes H413 ואל and to H3605 כל all H5971 העם the people, H559 לאמר saying, H4941 משׁפט worthy H4194 מות to die; H376 לאישׁ man H2088 הזה This H3588 כי for H5012 נבא he hath prophesied H413 אל against H5892 העיר city, H2063 הזאת this H834 כאשׁר as H8085 שׁמעתם ye have heard H241 באזניכם׃ with your ears.

  12 H559 ויאמר Then spoke H3414 ירמיהו Jeremiah H413 אל unto H3605 כל all H8269 השׂרים the princes H413 ואל and to H3605 כל all H5971 העם the people, H559 לאמר saying, H3068 יהוה The LORD H7971 שׁלחני sent H5012 להנבא me to prophesy H413 אל against H1004 הבית house H2088 הזה this H413 ואל and against H5892 העיר city H2063 הזאת this H853 את   H3605 כל all H1697 הדברים the words H834 אשׁר that H8085 שׁמעתם׃ ye have heard.

  13 H6258 ועתה Therefore now H3190 היטיבו amend H1870 דרכיכם your ways H4611 ומעלליכם and your doings, H8085 ושׁמעו and obey H6963 בקול the voice H3068 יהוה of the LORD H430 אלהיכם your God; H5162 וינחם will repent H3068 יהוה and the LORD H413 אל him of H7451 הרעה the evil H834 אשׁר that H1696 דבר he hath pronounced H5921 עליכם׃ against

  14 H589 ואני As for me, H2005 הנני   H3027 בידכם I in your hand: H6213 עשׂו do H2896 לי כטוב good H3477 וכישׁר and meet H5869 בעיניכם׃ with me as seemeth

  15 H389 אך But H3045 ידע know ye for certain, H3045 תדעו know ye for certain, H3588 כי that H518 אם if H4191 ממתים   H859 אתם ye H853 אתי   H3588 כי shall surely H1818 דם blood H5355 נקי innocent H859 אתם ye H5414 נתנים bring H5921 עליכם upon H413 ואל yourselves, and upon H5892 העיר city, H2063 הזאת this H413 ואל and upon H3427 ישׁביה the inhabitants H3588 כי thereof: for H571 באמת of a truth H7971 שׁלחני hath sent H3068 יהוה the LORD H5921 עליכם me unto H1696 לדבר you to speak H241 באזניכם in your ears. H853 את   H3605 כל all H1697 הדברים words H428 האלה׃ these

  16 H559 ויאמרו Then said H8269 השׂרים the princes H3605 וכל and all H5971 העם the people H413 אל unto H3548 הכהנים the priests H413 ואל and to H5030 הנביאים the prophets; H369 אין not H376 לאישׁ man H2088 הזה This H4941 משׁפט worthy H4194 מות to die: H3588 כי for H8034 בשׁם us in the name H3069 יהוה   H430 אלהינו our God. H1696 דבר he hath spoken H413 אלינו׃ to

  17 H6965 ויקמו Then rose up H582 אנשׁים   H2205 מזקני of the elders H776 הארץ of the land, H559 ויאמרו and spoke H413 אל to H3605 כל all H6951 קהל the assembly H5971 העם of the people, H559 לאמר׃ saying,

  18 H4320 מיכיה Micah H4183 המורשׁתי the Morasthite H1961 היה prophesied H5012 נבא prophesied H3117 בימי in the days H2396 חזקיהו of Hezekiah H4428 מלך king H3063 יהודה of Judah, H559 ויאמר and spoke H413 אל to H3605 כל all H5971 עם the people H3063 יהודה of Judah, H559 לאמר saying, H3541 כה Thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD H6635 צבאות of hosts; H6726 ציון Zion H7704 שׂדה a field, H2790 תחרשׁ shall be plowed H3389 וירושׁלים and Jerusalem H5856 עיים heaps, H1961 תהיה shall become H2022 והר and the mountain H1004 הבית of the house H1116 לבמות as the high places H3293 יער׃ of a forest.

  19 H4191 ההמת put him at all to death? H4191 המתהו put him at all to death? H2396 חזקיהו Did Hezekiah H4428 מלך king H3063 יהודה of Judah H3605 וכל and all H3063 יהודה Judah H3808 הלא did he not H3373 ירא   H853 את   H3068 יהוה the LORD, H2470 ויחל   H853 את   H6440 פני   H3068 יהוה the LORD, H5162 וינחם repented H3068 יהוה and the LORD H413 אל him of H7451 הרעה the evil H834 אשׁר which H1696 דבר he had pronounced H5921 עליהם against H587 ואנחנו them? Thus might we H6213 עשׂים procure H7451 רעה evil H1419 גדולה great H5921 על against H5315 נפשׁותינו׃ our souls.

  20 H1571 וגם also H376 אישׁ a man H1961 היה And there was H5012 מתנבא that prophesied H8034 בשׁם in the name H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H223 אוריהו Urijah H1121 בן the son H8098 שׁמעיהו of Shemaiah H7157 מקרית היערים   H5012 וינבא who prophesied H5921 על against H5892 העיר city H2063 הזאת this H5921 ועל and against H776 הארץ land H2063 הזאת this H3605 ככל according to all H1697 דברי the words H3414 ירמיהו׃ of Jeremiah:

  21 H8085 וישׁמע heard H4428 המלך the king, H3079 יהויקים And when Jehoiakim H3605 וכל with all H1368 גבוריו his mighty men, H3605 וכל and all H8269 השׂרים the princes, H853 את   H1697 דבריו his words, H1245 ויבקשׁ sought H4428 המלך the king H4191 המיתו to put him to death: H8085 וישׁמע heard H223 אוריהו but when Urijah H3372 וירא it, he was afraid, H1272 ויברח and fled, H935 ויבא and went into H4714 מצרים׃ Egypt;

  22 H7971 וישׁלח sent H4428 המלך the king H3079 יהויקים And Jehoiakim H376 אנשׁים men H4714 מצרים into Egypt, H853 את   H494 אלנתן Elnathan H1121 בן the son H5907 עכבור of Achbor, H376 ואנשׁים and men H854 אתו with H413 אל him into H4714 מצרים׃ Egypt.

  23 H3318 ויוציאו And they fetched forth H853 את   H223 אוריהו Urijah H4714 ממצרים   H935 ויבאהו and brought H413 אל him unto H4428 המלך the king; H3079 יהויקים Jehoiakim H5221 ויכהו who slew H2719 בחרב him with the sword, H7993 וישׁלך and cast H853 את   H5038 נבלתו his dead body H413 אל into H6913 קברי the graves H1121 בני of the common H5971 העם׃ people.

  24 H389 אך Nevertheless H3027 יד the hand H296 אחיקם of Ahikam H1121 בן the son H8227 שׁפן of Shaphan H1961 היתה was H854 את with H3414 ירמיהו Jeremiah, H1115 לבלתי that they should not H5414 תת give H853 אתו   H3027 ביד him into the hand H5971 העם of the people H4191 להמיתו׃ to put him to death.

  1 H1961 ויהי And it came to pass H8141 בשׁנה year, H1931 ההיא the same H7225 בראשׁית in the beginning H4467 ממלכת of the reign H6667 צדקיה of Zedekiah H4428 מלך king H3063 יהודה of Judah, H8141 בשׁנת year, H7243 הרבעית in the fourth H2320 בחדשׁ month, H2549 החמישׁי in the fifth H559 אמר spoke H413 אלי unto H2608 חנניה Hananiah H1121 בן the son H5809 עזור of Azur H5030 הנביא the prophet, H834 אשׁר which H1391 מגבעון   H1004 בבית me in the house H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H5869 לעיני in the presence H3548 הכהנים of the priests H3605 וכל and of all H5971 העם the people, H559 לאמר׃ saying,

  2 H3541 כה Thus H559 אמר speaketh H3068 יהוה the LORD H6635 צבאות of hosts, H430 אלהי the God H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H559 לאמר saying, H7665 שׁברתי I have broken H853 את   H5923 על the yoke H4428 מלך of the king H894 בבל׃ of Babylon.

  3 H5750 בעוד Within H8141 שׁנתים two full years H3117 ימים two full years H589 אני will I H7725 משׁיב bring again H413 אל into H4725 המקום place H2088 הזה   H853 את   H3605 כל all H3627 כלי the vessels H1004 בית house, H3068 יהוה of the LORD's H834 אשׁר that H3947 לקח took away H5019 נבוכדנאצר Nebuchadnezzar H4428 מלך king H894 בבל of Babylon H4480 מן from H4725 המקום place, H2088 הזה   H935 ויביאם and carried H894 בבל׃ them to Babylon:
