  5 H7323 וירץ And he ran H413 אל unto H5941 עלי Eli, H559 ויאמר and said, H2005 הנני   H3588 כי I; for H7121 קראת thou calledst H559 לי ויאמר me. And he said, H3808 לא not; H7121 קראתי I called H7725 שׁוב again. H7901 שׁכב lie down H1980 וילך And he went H7901 וישׁכב׃ and lay down.

  6 H3254 ויסף again, H3068 יהוה And the LORD H7121 קרא called H5750 עוד yet H8050 שׁמואל Samuel. H6965 ויקם arose H8050 שׁמואל And Samuel H1980 וילך and went H413 אל to H5941 עלי Eli, H559 ויאמר and said, H2005 הנני   H3588 כי I; for H7121 קראת thou didst call H559 לי ויאמר me. And he answered, H3808 לא not, H7121 קראתי I called H1121 בני my son; H7725 שׁוב again. H7901 שׁכב׃ lie down

  8 H3254 ויסף again H3068 יהוה And the LORD H7121 קרא called H8050 שׁמואל Samuel H7992 בשׁלשׁית the third H6965 ויקם time. And he arose H1980 וילך and went H413 אל to H5941 עלי Eli, H559 ויאמר and said, H2005 הנני   H3588 כי I; for H7121 קראת thou didst call H995 לי ויבן perceived H5941 עלי me. And Eli H3588 כי that H3068 יהוה the LORD H7121 קרא had called H5288 לנער׃ the child.

  9 H559 ויאמר said H5941 עלי Therefore Eli H8050 לשׁמואל unto Samuel, H1980 לך Go, H7901 שׁכב lie down: H1961 והיה and it shall be, H518 אם if H7121 יקרא he call H413 אליך he call H559 ואמרת thee, that thou shalt say, H1696 דבר Speak, H3068 יהוה LORD; H3588 כי for H8085 שׁמע heareth. H5650 עבדך thy servant H1980 וילך went H8050 שׁמואל So Samuel H7901 וישׁכב and lay down H4725 במקומו׃ in his place.

  10 H935 ויבא came, H3068 יהוה And the LORD H3320 ויתיצב and stood, H7121 ויקרא and called H6471 כפעם as at other times, H6471 בפעם as at other times, H8050 שׁמואל Samuel, H8050 שׁמואל Samuel. H559 ויאמר answered, H8050 שׁמואל Then Samuel H1696 דבר Speak; H3588 כי for H8085 שׁמע heareth. H5650 עבדך׃ thy servant

  12 H3117 ביום day H1931 ההוא In that H6965 אקים I will perform H413 אל against H5941 עלי Eli H853 את   H3605 כל all H834 אשׁר which H1696 דברתי I have spoken H413 אל concerning H1004 ביתו his house: H2490 החל when I begin, H3615 וכלה׃ I will also make an end.

  13 H5046 והגדתי For I have told H3588 לו כי him that H8199 שׁפט will judge H589 אני I H853 את   H1004 ביתו his house H5704 עד forever H5769 עולם forever H5771 בעון for the iniquity H834 אשׁר which H3045 ידע he knoweth; H3588 כי because H7043 מקללים made themselves vile, H1992 להם   H1121 בניו his sons H3808 ולא them not. H3543 כהה׃ and he restrained

  14 H3651 ולכן And therefore H7650 נשׁבעתי I have sworn H1004 לבית unto the house H5941 עלי of Eli, H518 אם shall not H3722 יתכפר be purged H5771 עון that the iniquity H1004 בית house H5941 עלי of Eli's H2077 בזבח with sacrifice H4503 ובמנחה nor offering H5704 עד forever. H5769 עולם׃ forever.

  15 H7901 וישׁכב lay H8050 שׁמואל And Samuel H5704 עד until H1242 הבקר the morning, H6605 ויפתח and opened H853 את   H1817 דלתות the doors H1004 בית of the house H3068 יהוה of the LORD.   16 H7121 ויקרא called H5941 עלי Then Eli H853 את   H8050 שׁמואל Samuel, H559 ויאמר and said, H8050 שׁמואל Samuel, H1121 בני my son. H559 ויאמר And he answered, H2005 הנני׃  

  17 H559 ויאמר And he said, H4100 מה What H1697 הדבר the thing H834 אשׁר that H1696 דבר hath said H413 אליך unto H408 אל not H4994 נא thee? I pray thee H3582 תכחד hide H4480 ממני from H3541 כה so H6213 יעשׂה do H430 לך אלהים me: God H3541 וכה also, H3254 יוסיף to thee, and more H518 אם if H3582 תכחד thou hide H4480 ממני from H1697 דבר thing H3605 מכל me of all H1697 הדבר the things H834 אשׁר that H1696 דבר he said H413 אליך׃ unto

  18 H5046 ויגד told H8050 לו שׁמואל And Samuel H853 את   H3605 כל him every H1697 הדברים whit, H3808 ולא nothing H3582 כחד and hid H4480 ממנו from H559 ויאמר him. And he said, H3068 יהוה the LORD: H1931 הוא It H2896 הטוב him good. H5869 בעינו what seemeth H6213 יעשׂה׃ let him do

  19 H1431 ויגדל grew, H8050 שׁמואל And Samuel H3068 ויהוה and the LORD H1961 היה was H5973 עמו with H3808 ולא him, and did let none H5307 הפיל fall H3605 מכל   H1697 דבריו of his words H776 ארצה׃ to the ground.

  20 H3045 וידע knew H3605 כל And all H3478 ישׂראל Israel H1835 מדן   H5704 ועד even to H884 באר שׁבע Beer-sheba H3588 כי that H539 נאמן established H8050 שׁמואל Samuel H5030 לנביא a prophet H3068 ליהוה׃ of the LORD.

  21 H3254 ויסף again H3068 יהוה And the LORD H7200 להראה appeared H7887 בשׁלה in Shiloh: H3588 כי for H1540 נגלה revealed himself H3068 יהוה the LORD H413 אל to H8050 שׁמואל Samuel H7887 בשׁלו in Shiloh H1697 בדבר by the word H3068 יהוה׃ of the LORD.

  11 H1980 וילך went H511 אלקנה And Elkanah H7414 הרמתה to Ramah H5921 על to H1004 ביתו his house. H5288 והנער And the child H1961 היה did H8334 משׁרת minister H853 את   H3068 יהוה unto the LORD H853 את   H6440 פני before H5941 עלי Eli H3548 הכהן׃ the priest.

  18 H8050 ושׁמואל But Samuel H8334 משׁרת ministered H853 את   H6440 פני before H3068 יהוה the LORD, H5288 נער a child, H2296 חגור girded H646 אפוד ephod. H906 בד׃ with a linen

  1 H1961 ויהי And it came to pass, H3588 כי that H2204 זקן was old, H3327 יצחק when Isaac H3543 ותכהין were dim, H5869 עיניו and his eyes H7200 מראת so that he could not see, H7121 ויקרא he called H853 את   H6215 עשׂו Esau H1121 בנו son, H1419 הגדל his eldest H559 ויאמר and said H413 אליו unto H1121 בני him, My son: H559 ויאמר and he said H413 אליו unto H2009 הנני׃ him, Behold,

  22 H5941 ועלי Now Eli H2204 זקן old, H3966 מאד was very H8085 ושׁמע and heard H853 את   H3605 כל all H834 אשׁר that H6213 יעשׂון did H1121 בניו his sons H3605 לכל unto all H3478 ישׂראל Israel; H853 ואת   H834 אשׁר and how H7901 ישׁכבון they lay H854 את with H802 הנשׁים the women H6633 הצבאות that assembled H6607 פתח the door H168 אהל of the tabernacle H4150 מועד׃ of the congregation.

  15 H5941 ועלי Now Eli H1121 בן old; H8673 תשׁעים   H8083 ושׁמנה and eight H8141 שׁנה years H5869 ועיניו and his eyes H6965 קמה were dim, H3808 ולא not H3201 יכול that he could H7200 לראות׃ see.

  10 H3117 ימי The days H8141 שׁנותינו of our years H7657 בהם שׁבעים threescore years and ten; H8141 שׁנה threescore years and ten; H518 ואם and if H1369 בגבורת by reason of strength H8084 שׁמונים fourscore H8141 שׁנה years, H7296 ורהבם yet their strength H5999 עמל labor H205 ואון and sorrow; H3588 כי for H1468 גז cut off, H2440 חישׁ it is soon H5774 ונעפה׃ and we fly away.

  3 H3117 ביום In the day H2111 שׁיזעו shall tremble, H8104 שׁמרי when the keepers H1004 הבית of the house H5791 והתעותו shall bow themselves, H376 אנשׁי men H2428 החיל and the strong H988 ובטלו cease H2912 הטחנות and the grinders H3588 כי because H4592 מעטו   H2821 וחשׁכו be darkened, H7200 הראות and those that look H699 בארבות׃ out of the windows

  20 H859 ואתה And thou H6680 תצוה shalt command H853 את   H1121 בני the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H3947 ויקחו that they bring H413 אליך that they bring H8081 שׁמן oil H2132 זית olive H2134 זך thee pure H3795 כתית beaten H3974 למאור for the light, H5927 להעלת to burn H5216 נר to cause the lamp H8548 תמיד׃ always.

  8 H5927 ובהעלת lighteth H175 אהרן And when Aaron H853 את   H5216 הנרת the lamps H996 בין at H6153 הערבים even, H6999 יקטירנה he shall burn incense H7004 קטרת incense H8548 תמיד upon it, a perpetual H6440 לפני before H3068 יהוה the LORD H1755 לדרתיכם׃ throughout your generations.

  9 H6963 קול The voice H3068 יהוה of the LORD H2342 יחולל to calve, H355 אילות maketh the hinds H2834 ויחשׂף and discovereth H3295 יערות the forests: H1964 ובהיכלו and in his temple H3605 כלו doth every one H559 אמר speak of H3519 כבוד׃ glory.

  1 H1961 ויהי And it came to pass H310 אחר after H1697 הדברים things, H428 האלה these H430 והאלהים that God H5254 נסה did tempt H853 את   H85 אברהם Abraham, H559 ויאמר and said H413 אליו unto H85 אברהם him, Abraham: H559 ויאמר and he said, H2009 הנני׃ Behold,

  4 H7200 וירא saw H3068 יהוה And when the LORD H3588 כי that H5493 סר he turned aside H7200 לראות to see, H7121 ויקרא called H413 אליו unto H430 אלהים God H8432 מתוך him out of the midst H5572 הסנה of the bush, H559 ויאמר and said, H4872 משׁה Moses, H4872 משׁה Moses. H559 ויאמר And he said, H2009 הנני׃ Here

  6 H4872 משׁה Moses H175 ואהרן and Aaron H3548 בכהניו among his priests, H8050 ושׁמואל and Samuel H7121 בקראי among them that call upon H8034 שׁמו his name; H7121 קראים they called H413 אל upon H3068 יהוה the LORD, H1931 והוא and he H6030 יענם׃ answered

  8 H8085 ואשׁמע Also I heard H853 את   H6963 קול the voice H136 אדני of the Lord, H559 אמר saying, H853 את   H4310 מי Whom H7971 אשׁלח shall I send, H4310 ומי and who H1980 ילך will go H559 לנו ואמר for us? Then said H2005 הנני   H7971 שׁלחני׃ send

  29 H5375 וישׂא And he lifted up H5869 עיניו his eyes, H7200 וירא and saw H853 את   H1144 בנימין Benjamin, H251 אחיו his brother H1121 בן son, H517 אמו his mother's H559 ויאמר and said, H2088 הזה this H251 אחיכם brother, H6996 הקטן your younger H834 אשׁר of whom H559 אמרתם ye spoke H413 אלי unto H559 ויאמר me? And he said, H430 אלהים God H2603 יחנך be gracious H1121 בני׃ unto thee, my son.

  15 H2472 בחלום In a dream, H2384 חזיון in a vision H3915 לילה of the night, H5307 בנפל falleth H8639 תרדמה when deep sleep H5921 על upon H376 אנשׁים men, H8572 בתנומות in slumberings H5921 עלי upon H4904 משׁכב׃ the bed;

  19 H559 ויאמרו And they said H413 אל unto H4872 משׁה Moses, H1696 דבר Speak H859 אתה thou H5973 עמנו with H8085 ונשׁמעה us, and we will hear: H408 ואל but let not H1696 ידבר speak H5973 עמנו with H430 אלהים God H6435 פן us, lest H4191 נמות׃ we die.

  8 H8085 אשׁמעה I will hear H4100 מה what H1696 ידבר will speak: H410 האל God H3068 יהוה the LORD H3588 כי for H1696 ידבר he will speak H7965 שׁלום peace H413 אל unto H5971 עמו his people, H413 ואל and to H2623 חסידיו his saints: H408 ואל but let them not H7725 ישׁובו turn again H3690 לכסלה׃ to folly.

  19 H559 ויאמר And said, H408 אל not: H3372 תירא fear H376 אישׁ O man H2530 חמדות greatly beloved, H7965 שׁלום peace H2388 לך חזק unto thee, be strong, H2388 וחזק yea, be strong. H6965 ויקם arose H8050 שׁמואל And Samuel H1980 וילך and went H413 אל to H5941 עלי Eli, H559 ויאמר and said, H2005 הנני   H3588 כי I; for H7121 קראת thou didst call H559 לי ויאמר me. And he answered, H3808 לא not, H7121 קראתי I called H1121 בני my son; H7725 שׁוב again. H7901 שׁכב׃ lie down

  8 H3254 ויסף again H3068 יהוה And the LORD H7121 קרא called H8050 שׁמואל Samuel H7992 בשׁלשׁית the third H6965 ויקם time. And he arose H1980 וילך and went H413 אל to H5941 עלי Eli, H559 ויאמר and said, H2005 הנני   H3588 כי I; for H7121 קראת thou didst call H995 לי ויבן perceived H5941 עלי me. And Eli H3588 כי that H3068 יהוה the LORD H7121 קרא had called H5288 לנער׃ the child.

  12 H3651 לכן Therefore H3541 כה thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהי God H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H2005 הנני   H935 מביא I bringing H7451 רעה evil H5921 על upon H3389 ירושׁלם Jerusalem H3063 ויהודה and Judah, H834 אשׁר that H3605 כל whosoever H8085 שׁמעיו heareth H6750 תצלנה shall tingle. H8147 שׁתי of it, both H241 אזניו׃ his ears

  19 H1767 מדי   H5674 עברו that it goeth forth H3947 יקח it shall take H853 אתכם   H3588 כי you: for H1242 בבקר morning H1242 בבקר by morning H5674 יעבר shall it pass over, H3117 ביום by day H3915 ובלילה and by night: H1961 והיה and it shall be H7535 רק only H2113 זועה a vexation H995 הבין understand H8052 שׁמועה׃ the report.

  14 H3651 לכן Therefore, H2005 הנני   H3254 יוסף I will proceed H6381 להפליא to do a marvelous work H854 את among H5971 העם people, H2088 הזה this H6381 הפלא a marvelous work H6382 ופלא and a wonder: H6 ואבדה shall perish, H2451 חכמת for the wisdom H2450 חכמיו of their wise H998 ובינת and the understanding H995 נבניו of their prudent H5641 תסתתר׃ shall be hid.

  3 H559 ואמרת And say, H8085 שׁמעו Hear H1697 דבר ye the word H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H4428 מלכי O kings H3063 יהודה of Judah, H3427 וישׁבי and inhabitants H3389 ירושׁלם of Jerusalem; H3541 כה Thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD H6635 צבאות of hosts, H430 אלהי the God H3478 ישׂראל of Israel; H2005 הנני   H935 מביא I will bring H7451 רעה evil H5921 על upon H4725 המקום place, H2088 הזה this H834 אשׁר the which H3605 כל whosoever H8085 שׁמעה heareth, H6750 תצלנה shall tingle. H241 אזניו׃ his ears

  6 H518 אם   H8628 יתקע be blown H7782 שׁופר Shall a trumpet H5892 בעיר in the city, H5971 ועם and the people H3808 לא not H2729 יחרדו be afraid? H518 אם   H1961 תהיה shall there be H7451 רעה evil H5892 בעיר in a city, H3068 ויהוה and the LORD H3808 לא hath not H6213 עשׂה׃ done

  7 H3588 כי Surely H3808 לא nothing, H6213 יעשׂה will do H136 אדני the Lord H3069 יהוה GOD H1697 דבר nothing, H3588 כי but H518 אם but H1540 גלה he revealeth H5475 סודו his secret H413 אל unto H5650 עבדיו his servants H5030 הנביאים׃ the prophets.

  5 H7200 ראו Behold H1471 בגוים ye among the heathen, H5027 והביטו and regard, H8539 והתמהו and wonder marvelously: H8539 תמהו and wonder marvelously: H3588 כי for H6467 פעל a work H6466 פעל will work H3117 בימיכם in your days, H3808 לא ye will not H539 תאמינו believe, H3588 כי though H5608 יספר׃ it be told

  19 H3808 לא not H376 אישׁ a man, H410 אל God H3576 ויכזב that he should lie; H1121 ובן neither the son H120 אדם of man, H5162 ויתנחם that he should repent: H1931 ההוא hath he H559 אמר said, H3808 ולא and shall he not H6213 יעשׂה do H1696 ודבר or hath he spoken, H3808 ולא and shall he not H6965 יקימנה׃ make it good?

  15 H1961 והיה Therefore it shall come to pass, H834 כאשׁר as H935 בא are come H5921 עליכם upon H3605 כל all H1697 הדבר things H2896 הטוב good H834 אשׁר you, which H1696 דבר promised H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיכם your God H413 אליכם promised H3651 כן you; so H935 יביא bring H3068 יהוה shall the LORD H5921 עליכם upon H853 את   H3605 כל you all H1697 הדבר things, H7451 הרע evil H5704 עד until H8045 השׁמידו he have destroyed H853 אותכם   H5921 מעל you from off H127 האדמה land H2896 הטובה good H2063 הזאת this H834 אשׁר which H5414 נתן hath given H3068 לכם יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיכם׃ your God

  27 H935 ויבא And there came H376 אישׁ a man H430 אלהים of God H413 אל unto H5941 עלי Eli, H559 ויאמר and said H413 אליו unto H3541 כה him, Thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD, H1540 הנגלה   H1540 נגליתי   H413 אל unto H1004 בית the house H1 אביך of thy father, H1961 בהיותם when they were H4714 במצרים in Egypt H1004 לבית house? H6547 פרעה׃ in Pharaoh's

  28 H977 ובחר And did I choose H853 אתו   H3605 מכל him out of all H7626 שׁבטי the tribes H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H3548 לי לכהן my priest, H5927 לעלות to offer H5921 על upon H4196 מזבחי mine altar, H6999 להקטיר to burn H7004 קטרת incense, H5375 לשׂאת to wear H646 אפוד an ephod H6440 לפני before H5414 ואתנה me? and did I give H1004 לבית unto the house H1 אביך of thy father H853 את   H3605 כל all H801 אשׁי the offerings made by fire H1121 בני of the children H3478 ישׂראל׃ of Israel?

  29 H4100 למה Wherefore H1163 תבעטו kick H2077 בזבחי ye at my sacrifice H4503 ובמנחתי and at mine offering, H834 אשׁר which H6680 צויתי I have commanded H4583 מעון habitation; H3513 ותכבד and honorest H853 את   H1121 בניך thy sons H4480 ממני above H1254 להבריאכם me, to make yourselves fat H7225 מראשׁית with the chiefest H3605 כל of all H4503 מנחת the offerings H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H5971 לעמי׃ my people?

  30 H3651 לכן Wherefore H5002 נאם saith, H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהי God H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H559 אמור I said H559 אמרתי indeed H1004 ביתך thy house, H1004 ובית and the house H1 אביך of thy father, H1980 יתהלכו should walk H6440 לפני before H5704 עד me forever: H5769 עולם me forever: H6258 ועתה but now H5002 נאם saith, H3068 יהוה the LORD H2486 חלילה Be it far H3588 לי כי from me; for H3513 מכבדי them that honor H3513 אכבד me I will honor, H959 ובזי and they that despise H7043 יקלו׃ me shall be lightly esteemed.

  31 H2009 הנה Behold, H3117 ימים the days H935 באים come, H1438 וגדעתי that I will cut off H853 את   H2220 זרעך thine arm, H853 ואת   H2220 זרע and the arm H1004 בית house, H1 אביך of thy father's H1961 מהיות that there shall not be H2205 זקן an old man H1004 בביתך׃ in thine house.

  32 H5027 והבטת And thou shalt see H6862 צר an enemy H4583 מעון habitation, H3605 בכל in all H834 אשׁר which H3190 ייטיב shall give H853 את   H3478 ישׂראל Israel: H3808 ולא and there shall not H1961 יהיה be H2205 זקן an old man H1004 בביתך in thine house H3605 כל forever. H3117 הימים׃ forever.

  33 H376 ואישׁ And the man H3808 לא of thine, I shall not H3772 אכרית cut off H5973 לך מעם from H4196 מזבחי mine altar, H3615 לכלות to consume H853 את   H5869 עיניך thine eyes, H109 ולאדיב and to grieve H853 את   H5315 נפשׁך thine heart: H3605 וכל and all H4768 מרבית the increase H1004 ביתך of thine house H4191 ימותו shall die H376 אנשׁים׃ in the flower of their age.

  34 H2088 וזה And this H226 לך האות a sign H834 אשׁר unto thee, that H935 יבא shall come H413 אל upon H8147 שׁני thy two H1121 בניך sons, H413 אל on H2652 חפני Hophni H6372 ופינחס and Phinehas; H3117 ביום day H259 אחד in one H4191 ימותו they shall die H8147 שׁניהם׃ both

  35 H6965 והקימתי And I will raise me up H3548 לי כהן priest, H539 נאמן a faithful H834 כאשׁר according to which H3824 בלבבי in mine heart H5315 ובנפשׁי and in my mind: H6213 יעשׂה shall do H1129 ובניתי and I will build H1004 לו בית house; H539 נאמן him a sure H1980 והתהלך and he shall walk H6440 לפני before H4899 משׁיחי mine anointed H3605 כל forever. H3117 הימים׃ forever.

  36 H1961 והיה And it shall come to pass, H3605 כל every one H3498 הנותר that is left H1004 בביתך in thine house H935 יבוא shall come H7812 להשׁתחות crouch H95 לו לאגורת to him for a piece H3701 כסף of silver H3603 וככר and a morsel H3899 לחם of bread, H559 ואמר and shall say, H5596 ספחני Put H4994 נא me, I pray thee, H413 אל into H259 אחת one H3550 הכהנות of the priests' offices, H398 לאכל that I may eat H6595 פת a piece H3899 לחם׃ of bread.

  6 H389 אך But H1697 דברי my words H2706 וחקי and my statutes, H834 אשׁר which H6680 צויתי I commanded H853 את   H5650 עבדי my servants H5030 הנביאים the prophets, H3808 הלוא did they not H5381 השׂיגו take hold H1 אבתיכם of your fathers? H7725 וישׁובו and they returned H559 ויאמרו and said, H834 כאשׁר Like as H2161 זמם thought H3068 יהוה the LORD H6635 צבאות of hosts H6213 לעשׂות to do H1870 לנו כדרכינו unto us, according to our ways, H4611 וכמעללינו and according to our doings, H3651 כן so H6213 עשׂה hath he dealt H854 אתנו׃ with

  12 H1121 ובני Now the sons H5941 עלי of Eli H1121 בני sons H1100 בליעל of Belial; H3808 לא not H3045 ידעו they knew H853 את   H3068 יהוה׃ the LORD.

  17 H1961 ותהי was H2403 חטאת Wherefore the sin H5288 הנערים of the young men H1419 גדולה great H3966 מאד very H853 את   H6440 פני before H3068 יהוה the LORD: H3588 כי for H5006 נאצו abhorred H582 האנשׁים   H853 את   H4503 מנחת the offering H3068 יהוה׃ of the LORD.

  22 H5941 ועלי Now Eli H2204 זקן old, H3966 מאד was very H8085 ושׁמע and heard H853 את   H3605 כל all H834 אשׁר that H6213 יעשׂון did H1121 בניו his sons H3605 לכל unto all H3478 ישׂראל Israel; H853 ואת   H834 אשׁר and how H7901 ישׁכבון they lay H854 את with H802 הנשׁים the women H6633 הצבאות that assembled H6607 פתח the door H168 אהל of the tabernacle H4150 מועד׃ of the congregation.

  23 H559 ויאמר And he said H4100 להם למה unto them, Why H6213 תעשׂון do H1697 כדברים things? H428 האלה ye such H834 אשׁר for H595 אנכי I H8085 שׁמע hear H853 את   H1697 דבריכם dealings H7451 רעים of your evil H853 מאת   H3605 כל all H5971 העם people. H428 אלה׃ this

  24 H408 אל Nay, H1121 בני my sons; H3588 כי for H3808 לוא no H2896 טובה good H8052 השׁמעה report H834 אשׁר that H595 אנכי I H8085 שׁמע hear: H5674 מעברים to transgress. H5971 עם people H3068 יהוה׃ ye make the LORD's

  25 H518 אם If H2398 יחטא sin H376 אישׁ one man H376 לאישׁ against another, H6419 ופללו shall judge H430 אלהים the judge H518 ואם him: but if H3068 ליהוה against the LORD, H2398 יחטא sin H376 אישׁ a man H4310 מי who H6419 יתפלל shall entreat H3808 לו ולא for him? Notwithstanding H8085 ישׁמעו they hearkened H6963 לקול not unto the voice H1 אביהם of their father, H3588 כי because H2654 חפץ would H3068 יהוה the LORD H4191 להמיתם׃ slay

  26 H5288 והנער And the child H8050 שׁמואל Samuel H1980 הלך grew H1432 וגדל on, H2896 וטוב and was in favor H1571 גם both H5973 עם with H3068 יהוה the LORD, H1571 וגם and also H5973 עם with H376 אנשׁים׃ men.

  6 H3808 ולא had not H6087 עצבו displeased H1 אביו And his father H3117 מימיו him at any time H559 לאמר in saying, H4069 מדוע Why H3602 ככה so? H6213 עשׂית hast thou done H1571 וגם also H1931 הוא and he H2896 טוב goodly H8389 תאר goodly H3966 מאד very H853 ואתו   H3205 ילדה and bore H310 אחרי him after H53 אבשׁלום׃ Absalom.

  44 H559 ויאמר said H4428 המלך The king H413 אל moreover to H8096 שׁמעי Shimei, H859 אתה Thou H3045 ידעת knowest H853 את   H3605 כל all H7451 הרעה the wickedness H834 אשׁר which H3045 ידע is privy to, H3824 לבבך thine heart H834 אשׁר that H6213 עשׂית thou didst H1732 לדוד to David H1 אבי my father: H7725 והשׁיב shall return H3068 יהוה therefore the LORD H853 את   H7451 רעתך thy wickedness H7218 בראשׁך׃ upon thine own head;

  12 H430 אלהינו O our God, H3808 הלא wilt thou not H8199 תשׁפט judge H3588 בם כי them? for H369 אין we have no H3581 בנו כח might H6440 לפני against H1995 ההמון company H7227 הרב great H2088 הזה this H935 הבא that cometh H5921 עלינו against H587 ואנחנו we H3808 לא us; neither H3045 נדע know H4100 מה what H6213 נעשׂה to do: H3588 כי but H5921 עליך upon H5869 עינינו׃ our eyes

  18 H3256 יסר Chasten H1121 בנך thy son H3588 כי while H3426 ישׁ there is H8615 תקוה hope, H413 ואל for H4191 המיתו his crying. H408 אל and let not H5375 תשׂא spare H5315 נפשׁך׃ thy soul
