¹⁶ In that day it shalbe said to Ierusalem, Feare thou not, O Zion: let not thine handes be faint.

³ Behold, thou hast taught many, and hast strengthened the wearie hands.

³ Strengthen the weake handes, and comfort the feeble knees. ⁴ Say vnto them that are fearefull, Bee you strong, feare not: beholde, your God commeth with vengeance: euen God with a recompense, he will come and saue you.

⁹ O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee vp into the hie mountaine: O Ierusalem, that bringest good tidings, lift vp thy voyce with strength: lift it vp, be not afraide: say vnto the cities of Iudah, Beholde your God.

¹⁰ Feare thou not, for I am with thee: be not afraide, for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee, and helpe thee, and will susteine thee with the right hand of my iustice.

¹³ For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying vnto thee, Feare not, I wil helpe thee. ¹⁴ Feare not, thou worme, Iaakob, and ye men of Israel: I wil helpe thee, sayth the Lord and thy redeemer the holy one of Israel.

¹ But nowe thus sayeth the Lord, that created thee, O Iaakob: and hee that formed thee, O Israel, Feare not: for I haue redeemed thee: I haue called thee by thy name, thou art mine. ² When thou passest through the waters, I wil be with thee, and through the floods, that they doe not ouerflowe thee. When thou walkest through the very fire, thou shalt not be burnt, neither shall the flame kindle vpon thee.

² Thus sayeth the Lord, that made thee, and formed thee from the wombe: he wil helpe thee. Feare not, O Iaakob, my seruaunt, and thou righteous, whome I haue chosen.

⁴ Feare not: for thou shalt not be ashamed, neither shalt thou be confounded: for thou shalt not bee put to shame: yea, thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproch of thy widdowhoode any more.

²⁷ But feare not thou, O my seruant Iaakob, and be not thou afraid, O Israel: for behold, I will deliuer thee from a farre countrey, and thy seede from the land of their captiuitie, and Iaakob shall returne and be in rest, and prosperitie, and none shall make him afraid. ²⁸ Feare thou not, O Iaakob my seruant, saith the Lord: for I am with thee, and I will vtterly destroy all the nations, whither I haue driuen thee: but I will not vtterly destroy thee, but correct thee by iudgement, and not vtterly cut thee off.

⁴ Who is left among you, that sawe this House in her first glory, and howe doe you see it nowe? is it not in your eyes, in comparison of it as nothing? ⁵ Yet nowe be of good courage, O Zerubbabel, sayth the Lord, and be of good comfort, O Iehoshua, sonne of Iehozadak the hie Priest: and be strong, all ye people of the land, sayth the Lord, and doe it: for I am with you, sayth the Lord of hostes,

¹⁵ So againe haue I determined in these daies to doe well vnto Ierusalem, and to the house of Iudah: feare ye not.

¹² On the morowe a great multitude that were come to the feast, when they heard that Iesus should come to Hierusalem,

¹ Therefore, seeing that we haue this ministerie, as we haue receiued mercy, we faint not:

⁹ Let vs not therefore be weary of well doing: for in due season we shall reape, if we faint not.

¹³ Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for your sakes, which is your glory.

³ Consider therefore him that endured such speaking against of sinners, lest ye should be wearied and faint in your mindes. ⁴ Ye haue not yet resisted vnto blood, striuing against sinne. ⁵ And ye haue forgotten the consolation, which speaketh vnto you as vnto children, My sonne, despise not the chastening of the Lord, neither faint when thou art rebuked of him.

¹² Wherfore lift vp your hands which hang downe, and your weake knees,

³ And thou wast burdened, and hast patience, and for my Names sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted.
