⁶ Then she arose with her daughters in law, and returned from the countrey of Moab: for she had heard say in the countrey of Moab, that the Lord had visited his people, and giuen them bread.

¹ Nowe the Lord visited Sarah, as he had saide, and did vnto her according as he had promised.

²⁰ Then Iaakob vowed a vowe, saying, If God will be with me, and will keepe me in this iourney which I go, and wil giue me bread to eate, and clothes to put on:

¹⁵ Also he blessed Ioseph and sayde, The God, before whom my fathers Abraham and Izhak did walke, the God, which hath fed me al my life long vnto this day, blesse thee.

²⁵ And Ioseph tooke an othe of the children of Israel, saying, God will surely visite you, and ye shall cary my bones hence.

¹⁶ Go and gather the Elders of Israel together, and thou shalt say vnto the, The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, Izhak, and Iaakob appeared vnto me, and said, I haue surely remembred you, and that which is done to you in Egypt.

³¹ And the people beleeued, and when they heard that the Lord had visited the children of Israel, and had looked vpon their tribulation, they bowed downe, and worshipped.

⁴ Then sayd the Lord vnto Moses, Behold, I wil cause bread to rayne from heauen to you, and the people shall goe out, and gather that that is sufficient for euery day, that I may proue them, whether they wil walke in my Law or no. ⁵ But the sixt daye they shall prepare that, which they shall bring home, and it shalbe twise as much as they gather dayly. ⁶ Then Moses and Aaron sayde vnto all the children of Israel, At euen ye shall know, that the Lord brought you out of the land of Egypt:

²¹ And the Lord visited Hannah, so that she conceiued, and bare three sonnes, and two daughters. And the childe Samuel grewe before the Lord.

¹⁴ He causeth grasse to growe for the cattell, and herbe for the vse of man, that he may bring forth bread out of the earth, ¹⁵ And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, and oyle to make the face to shine, and bread that strengtheneth mans heart.

⁵ He hath giuen a portion vnto them that feare him: he wil euer be mindfull of his couenant.

¹⁵ I will surely blesse her vitailes, and will satisfie her poore with bread,

¹⁵ The eyes of all waite vpon thee, and thou giuest them their meate in due season.

⁷ Which executeth iustice for the oppressed: which giueth bread to the hungry: the Lord loseth the prisoners.

¹⁴ He setteth peace in thy borders, and satisfieth thee with the floure of wheate.

⁸ Remooue farre from me vanitie and lyes: giue me not pouertie, nor riches: feede me with foode conuenient for me,

¹⁰ Surely as the raine commeth downe and the snow from heauen, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth and maketh it to bring forth and bud, that it may giue seede to the sower, and bread vnto him that eateth,

¹⁰ But thus saith the Lord, That after seuentie yeeres be accomplished at Babel, I will visite you, and performe my good promise toward you, and cause you to returne to this place.

⁷ And that coast shall be for the remnant of the house of Iudah, to feede thereupon: in the houses of Ashkelon shall they lodge toward night: for the Lord their God shall visite them, and turne away their captiuitie.

⁶⁸ Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, because he hath visited and redeemed his people,

⁴⁴ And shall make thee euen with ye ground, and thy children which are in thee, and they shall not leaue in thee a stone vpon a stone, because thou knewest not that season of thy visitation.

⁸ Therefore when wee haue foode and raiment, let vs therewith be content.

¹² And haue your conuersation honest among the Gentiles, that they which speake euill of you as of euill doers, may by your good woorkes which they shall see, glorifie God in the day of visitation.
