²⁸ Also we knowe that all thinges worke together for the best vnto them that loue God, euen to them that are called of his purpose.

²⁰ When ye thought euill against mee, God disposed it to good, that he might bring to passe, as it is this day, and saue much people aliue.

⁶ And shewing mercie vnto thousandes to them that loue me, and keepe my commandemets.

⁵ And thou shalt loue the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soule, and with all thy might.

² And thou shalt remember all ye way which the Lord thy God led thee this fourtie yeere in the wildernesse, for to humble thee and to proue thee, to knowe what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keepe his commandements or no. ³ Therefore he humbled thee, and made thee hungry, and fed thee with MAN, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know it, that he might teache thee that man liueth not by bread onely, but by euery worde that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord, doth a man liue.

¹⁶ Who fed thee in the wildernesse with MAN, which thy fathers knewe not) to humble thee, and and to proue thee, that he might doe thee good at thy latter ende.

⁵ And sayde, O Lord God of heauen, the great and terrible God, that keepeth couenant and mercy for them that loue him, and obserue his commandements,

¹ To him that excelleth upon Alamoth a song committed to the sonnes of Korah. God is our hope and strength, and helpe in troubles, ready to be found. ² Therefore will not we feare, though the earth be moued, and though the mountaines fall into the middes of the sea.

³⁶ The seede also of his seruants shall inherit it: and they that loue his name, shall dwel therein.

⁵ Thus sayeth the Lord, the God of Israel, Like these good figges, so will I knowe them that are caryed away captiue of Iudah to bee good, whome I haue sent out of this place, into the land of the Caldeans. ⁶ For I wil set mine eyes vpon them for good, and I will bring them againe to this lande, and I will build them, and not destroy them, and I will plant them, and not roote them out, ⁷ And I will giue them an heart to knowe me, that I am the Lord, and they shalbe my people, and I wil be their God: for they shall returne vnto mee with their whole heart.

²⁹ And the land shall tremble and sorow: for the deuise of the Lord shalbe performed against Babel, to make the lande of Babel waste without an inhabitant.

⁹ And I will bring that third part thorowe the fire, and will fine them as the siluer is fined, and will trye them as golde is tryed: they shall call on my Name, and I will heare them: I will say, It is my people, and they shall say, The Lord is my God.

³⁰ Thou shalt therefore loue the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soule, and with all thy minde, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandement.

⁴⁸ And when the Gentiles heard it, they were glad, and glorified the woorde of the Lord: and as many as were ordeined vnto eternall life, beleeued.

⁶ Among whom ye be also the called of Iesus Christ: ⁷ To all you that be at Rome beloued of God, called to be Saints: Grace be with you, and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Iesus Christ.

³ Neither that onely, but also we reioyce in tribulations, knowing that tribulation bringeth forth patience, ⁴ And patience experience, and experience hope, ⁵ And hope maketh not ashamed, because the loue of God is shed abroade in our heartes by the holy Ghost, which is giuen vnto vs.

³⁰ Moreouer whom he predestinate, them also he called, and whom he called, them also he iustified, and whom he iustified, them he also glorified.

³⁵ Who shall separate vs from the loue of Christ? shall tribulation or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakednesse, or perill, or sworde? ³⁶ As it is written, For thy sake are we killed all day long: we are counted as sheepe for the slaughter. ³⁷ Neuerthelesse, in all these thinges we are more then coquerours through him that loued vs. ³⁸ For I am perswaded that neither death, nor life, nor Angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, ³⁹ Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature shalbe able to separate vs from the loue of God, which is in Christ Iesus our Lord.

¹¹ For yer the children were borne, and when they had neither done good, nor euill (that the purpose of God might remaine according to election, not by workes, but by him that calleth)

²³ And that hee might declare the riches of his glory vpon the vessels of mercy, which hee hath prepared vnto glory? ²⁴ Euen vs whome hee hath called, not of of the Iewes onely, but also of the Gentiles,

⁹ God is faithfull, by whom ye are called vnto the fellowship of his Sonne Iesus Christ our Lord.

⁹ But as it is written, The thinges which eye hath not seene, neither eare hath heard, neither came into mans heart, are, which God hath prepared for them that loue him.

¹⁵ For all thinges are for your sakes, that that most plenteous grace by the thankesgiuing of many, may redound to the praise of God. ¹⁶ Therefore we faint not, but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed daily. ¹⁷ For our light affliction which is but for a moment, causeth vnto vs a farre most excellent and an eternall waight of glorie:

¹ For we knowe that if our earthly house of this tabernacle be destroyed, we haue a building giuen of God, that is, an house not made with handes, but eternall in the heauens.

¹⁵ But when it pleased God (which had separated me from my mothers wombe, and called me by his grace)

⁸ It is not the perswasion of him that calleth you.

⁹ And hath opened vnto vs the mysterie of his will according to his good pleasure, which he had purposed in him, ¹⁰ That in the dispensation of the fulnesse of the times, he might gather together in one all things, both which are in heauen, and which are in earth, euen in Christ: ¹¹ In whom also we are chosen when we were predestinate according to ye purpose of him, which worketh all things after the counsell of his owne will,

¹¹ According to the eternall purpose, which he wrought in Christ Iesus our Lord:

¹⁹ For I knowe that this shall turne to my saluation through your prayer, and by the helpe of the Spirit of Iesus Christ, ²⁰ As I feruently looke for, and hope, that in nothing I shalbe ashamed, but that with all confidence, as alwayes, so nowe Christ shalbe magnified in my body, whether it be by life or by death. ²¹ For Christ is to me both in life, and in death aduantage. ²² And whether to liue in the flesh were profitable for me, and what to chuse I knowe not. ²³ For I am distressed betweene both, desiring to be loosed and to be with Christ, which is best of all.

⁹ For God hath not appointed vs vnto wrath, but to obtaine saluation by the meanes of our Lord Iesus Christ,

⁵ Which is a manifest token of the righteous iudgement of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdome of God, for the which ye also suffer. ⁶ For it is a righteous thing with God, to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you, ⁷ And to you which are troubled, rest with vs, when the Lord Iesus shall shewe himselfe from heauen with his mightie Angels,

¹³ But we ought to giue thankes alway to God for you, brethren beloued of the Lord, because that God hath from the beginning chosen you to saluation, through sanctification of the Spirit, and the faith of trueth, ¹⁴ Whereunto he called you by our Gospel, to obtaine the glory of our Lord Iesus Christ.

⁹ Who hath saued vs, and called vs with an holy calling, not according to our workes, but according to his owne purpose and grace, which was giuen to vs through Christ Iesus before the world was,

¹⁹ But the foundation of God remaineth sure, and hath this seale, The Lord knoweth who are his: and, Let euery one that calleth on the Name of Christ, depart from iniquitie.

⁶ For whom the Lord loueth, he chasteneth: and he scourgeth euery sonne that he receiueth: ⁷ If ye endure chastening, God offereth him selfe vnto you as vnto sonnes: for what sonne is it whom the father chasteneth not? ⁸ If therefore ye be without correction, whereof al are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sonnes. ⁹ Moreouer we haue had the fathers of our bodies which corrected vs, and we gaue them reuerence: should we not much rather be in subiection vnto the father of spirites, that we might liue? ¹⁰ For they verely for a few dayes chastened vs after their owne pleasure: but he chasteneth vs for our profite, that we might be partakers of his holinesse. ¹¹ Now no chastising for the present seemeth to be ioyous, but, grieuous: but afterwarde, it bringeth the quiet fruite of righteousnesse, vnto them which are thereby exercised. ¹² Wherfore lift vp your hands which hang downe, and your weake knees,

³ Knowing that ye trying of your faith bringeth forth patience, ⁴ And let patience haue her perfect worke, that ye may be perfect and entier, lacking nothing.

¹² Blessed is ye man, that endureth tentation: for when he is tried, hee shall receiue the crowne of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that loue him.

⁵ Hearken my beloued brethren, hath not God chosen the poore of this worlde, that they should be rich in faith, and heires of the kingdome which he promised to them that loue him?

⁷ That the triall of your faith, being much more precious then golde that perisheth (though it be tried with fire) might bee founde vnto your praise, and honour and glorie at the appearing of Iesus Christ: ⁸ Whome yee haue not seene, and yet loue him, in whome nowe, though yee see him not, yet doe you beleeue, and reioyce with ioy vnspeakeable and glorious,

¹⁰ And the God of all grace, which hath called vs vnto his eternall glory by Christ Iesus, after that ye haue suffered a litle, make you perfite, confirme, strengthen and stablish you.

¹⁰ Herein is that loue, not that we loued God, but that he loued vs, and sent his Sonne to be a reconciliation for our sinnes.

¹⁹ We loue him, because he loued vs first.

² In this we know that we loue the children of God, when we loue God, and keepe his commandements. ³ For this is the loue of God, that we keepe his commandements: and his commandements are not burdenous.

¹⁹ As many as I loue, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore and amend.
