²⁵ To him nowe that is of power to establish you according to my Gospel, and preaching of Iesus Christ, by the reuelation of the mysterie, which was kept secrete since the worlde began:

² I will open my mouth in a parable: I will declare high sentences of olde.

²² Hee discouereth the deepe and secrete things: he knoweth what is in darkenes, and the light dwelleth with him.

⁷ Surely the Lord God will doe nothing, but he reueileth his secrete vnto his seruantes the Prophets.

¹⁷ For verely I say vnto you, that many Prophets, and righteous men haue desired to see those things which ye see, and haue not seene them, and to heare those things which ye heare, and haue not heard them.

³⁵ That it might be fulfilled, which was spoken by the Prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables, and will vtter the thinges which haue beene kept secrete from the foundation of the worlde.

²³ And he turned to his disciples, and said secretly, Blessed are the eyes, which see that ye see. ²⁴ For I tell you that many Prophets and Kings haue desired to see those things, which ye see, and haue not seene them: and to heare those things which ye heare, and haue not heard them.

²⁰ And straightway hee preached Christ in the Synagogues, that he was that Sonne of God,

³² And nowe brethren, I commend you to God, and to the worde of his grace, which is able to build further, and to giue you an inheritance, among all them, which are sanctified.

¹⁶ At the day when God shall iudge the secretes of men by Iesus Christ, according to my Gospel.

⁴ Who art thou that condemnest another mans seruant? hee standeth or falleth to his owne master: yea, he shalbe established: for God is able to make him stand.

²³ But wee preach Christ crucified: vnto the Iewes, euen a stumbling blocke, and vnto the Grecians, foolishnesse:

¹ And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellencie of woordes, or of wisedome, shewing vnto you the testimonie of God. ² For I esteemed not to knowe any thing among you, saue Iesus Christ, and him crucified.

⁷ But we speake the wisedome of God in a mysterie, euen the hid wisedom, which God had determined before the world, vnto our glory.

¹ Let a man so thinke of vs, as of the ministers of Christ, and disposers of the secrets of God:

³ If our Gospell bee then hid, it is hid to them that are lost.

⁵ For we preach not our selues, but Christ Iesus the Lord, and our selues your seruaunts for Iesus sake.

² And I went vp by reuelation, and declared vnto them that Gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but particularly to them that were the chiefe, least by any meanes I should runne, or had runne in vaine:

⁹ And hath opened vnto vs the mysterie of his will according to his good pleasure, which he had purposed in him,

³ That is, that God by reuelation hath shewed this mysterie vnto me (as I wrote aboue in fewe wordes, ⁴ Whereby when ye reade, ye may knowe mine vnderstanding in the mysterie of Christ) ⁵ Which in other ages was not opened vnto the sonnes of men, as it is nowe reueiled vnto his holy Apostles and Prophets by the Spirit,

⁹ And to make cleare vnto all men what the fellowship of the mysterie is, which from the beginning of the world hath bene hid in God, who hath created all things by Iesus Christ,

¹¹ According to the eternall purpose, which he wrought in Christ Iesus our Lord:

²⁰ Vnto him therefore that is able to do exceeding aboundantly aboue all that we aske or thinke, according to the power that worketh in vs, ²¹ Be praise in the Church by Christ Iesus, throughout all generations for euer, Amen.

¹⁹ And for me, that vtterance may be giuen vnto me, that I may open my mouth boldly to publish the secret of the Gospel,

²⁶ Which is the mysterie hid since the world began, and from all ages, but nowe is made manifest to his Saintes, ²⁷ To whome God woulde make knowen what is the riches of his glorious mysterie among the Gentiles, which riches is Christ in you, the hope of glory,

¹³ To make your hearts stable and vnblameable in holines before God euen our Father, at the comming of our Lord Iesus Christ with all his Saints.

¹⁴ Whereunto he called you by our Gospel, to obtaine the glory of our Lord Iesus Christ.

¹⁶ Now the same Iesus Christ our Lord; and our God euen the Father which hath loued vs, and hath giuen vs euerlasting consolation and good hope through grace, ¹⁷ Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in euery word and good worke.

³ But the Lord is faithfull, which wil stablish you, and keepe you from euill.

⁹ Who hath saued vs, and called vs with an holy calling, not according to our workes, but according to his owne purpose and grace, which was giuen to vs through Christ Iesus before the world was,

⁸ Remember that Iesus Christ, made of the seede of Dauid, was raysed againe from the dead according to my Gospel,

² Vnto the hope of eternall life, which God that cannot lie, hath promised before the world began:

²⁵ Wherefore, hee is able also perfectly to saue them that come vnto God by him, seeing he euer liueth, to make intercession for them.

¹⁰ Of the which saluation ye Prophets haue inquired and searched, which prophecied of the grace that should come vnto you, ¹¹ Searching when or what time the Spirite which testified before of Christ which was in them, shoulde declare the sufferings that should come vnto Christ, and the glorie that shoulde follow. ¹² Vnto whome it was reueiled, that not vnto themselues, but vnto vs they shoulde minister the things, which are nowe shewed vnto you by them which haue preached vnto you the Gospell by the holy Ghost sent downe from heauen, the which things the Angels desire to beholde.

²⁰ Which was ordeined before the foundation of the world, but was declared in the last times for your sakes,

¹⁰ And the God of all grace, which hath called vs vnto his eternall glory by Christ Iesus, after that ye haue suffered a litle, make you perfite, confirme, strengthen and stablish you.

²⁴ Nowe vnto him that is able to keepe you, that ye fall not, and to present you faultlesse before the presence of his glorie with ioy, ²⁵ That is, to God only wise, our Sauiour, be glorie, and maiestie, and dominion, and power, both nowe and for euer, Amen.
