⁵ And the Angel which I sawe stand vpon the sea, and vpon the earth, lift vp his hand to heauen,

¹ In the beginning God created the heauen and the earth. ² And the earth was without forme and void, and darkenesse was vpon the deepe, and the Spirit of God mooued vpon the waters.

²² And Abram said to the King of Sodom, I haue lift vp mine hand vnto the Lord the most hie God possessor of heauen and earth,

¹⁵ And the Angel of the Lord cryed vnto Abraham from heauen the second time, ¹⁶ And saide, By my selfe haue I sworne (saith ye Lord) because thou hast done this thing, and hast not spared thine onely sonne,

⁸ And I will bring you into the land which I sware that I woulde giue to Abraham, to Izhak, and to Iaakob, and I will giue it vnto you for a possession: I am the Lord.

¹¹ For in sixe dayes the Lord made the heauen and the earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seuenth day: therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it.

⁴⁰ For I lift vp mine hand to heauen, and say, I liue for euer.

⁶ Thou art Lord alone: thou hast made heauen, and the heauen of all heauens, with all their hoste, the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and al that are in them, and thou preseruest them all, and the host of the heauen worshippeth thee.

³ For the Lord is a great God, and a great King aboue all gods. ⁴ In whose hande are the deepe places of the earth, and the heightes of the mountaines are his: ⁵ To whome the Sea belongeth: for hee made it, and his handes formed the dry land. ⁶ Come, let vs worship and fall downe, and kneele before the Lord our maker.

⁵ Blessed is he, that hath the God of Iaakob for his helpe, whose hope is in the Lord his God.

¹ Praise ye the Lord. Praise ye the Lord from the heauen: prayse ye him in the high places. ² Prayse ye him, all ye his Angels: praise him, all his armie. ³ Prayse ye him, sunne and moone: prayse ye him all bright starres. ⁴ Prayse ye him, heauens of heauens, and waters, that be aboue the heauens. ⁵ Let them prayse the Name of the Lord: for he commanded, and they were created. ⁶ And he hath established them for euer and euer: he hath made an ordinance, which shall not passe. ⁷ Prayse ye the Lord from the earth, ye dragons and all depths:

¹⁰ But the Lord is the God of trueth: he is the liuing God, and an euerlasting King: at his anger the earth shall tremble, and the nations cannot abide his wrath. ¹¹ (Thus shall you say vnto them, The gods that haue not made the heauens and the earth, shall perish from the earth, and from vnder these heauens) ¹² He hath made the earth by his power, and established the worlde by his wisedome, and hath stretched out the heauen by his discretion. ¹³ Hee giueth by his voyce the multitude of waters in the heauen, and he causeth the cloudes to ascend from the endes of the earth: he turneth lightnings to rayne, and bringeth forth the winde out of his treasures.

⁵ And say vnto them, Thus saith the Lord God, In the day when I chose Israel, and lift vp mine hand vnto the seede of the house of Iaakob, and made my selfe knowen vnto them in the land of Egypt, when I lift vp mine hand vnto them, and sayd, I am the Lord your God,

¹⁵ Yet neuerthelesse, I lift vp mine hande vnto them in the wildernes that I would not bring them into the lande, which I had giuen them, flowing with milke and hony, which was pleasant aboue all landes,

²³ Yet I lift vp mine hande vnto them in the wildernes, that I would scatter them among the heathen, and disperse them through the countreys,

²⁸ For when I had brought them into the land, for the which I lifted vp mine hand to giue it to them, then they saw euery hie hill, and all the thicke trees, and they offred there their sacrifices, and there they presented their offering of prouocation: there also they made their sweete sauour, and powred out there their drinke offerings.

⁴² And ye shall knowe, that I am the Lord, when I shall bring you into the land of Israel, into the land, for the which I lifted vp mine hande to giue it to your fathers.

⁷ Therefore thus saith the Lord God, I haue lifted vp mine hand, surely the heathen that are about you, shall beare their shame.

¹⁴ And ye shall inherite it, one as well as another: concerning the which I lift vp mine hand to giue it vnto your fathers, and this lande shall fall vnto you for inheritance.

⁷ And I heard ye man clothed in line which was vpon the waters of the riuer, when he helde vp his right hand, and his left hand vnto heauen, and sware by him that liueth for euer, that it shall tarie for a time, two times and an halfe: and when he shall haue accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

¹⁵ And saying, O men, why doe yee these things? We are euen men subiect to the like passions that yee be, and preache vnto you, that yee shoulde turne from these vaine things vnto the liuing God, which made heauen and earth, and the sea, and all things that in them are:

²³ For as I passed by, and behelde your deuotions, I founde an altar wherein was written, VNTO THE VNKNOWEN GOD. Whom ye then ignorantly worship, him shewe I vnto you.

²⁰ For the inuisible things of him, that is, his eternal power and Godhead, are seene by ye creation of the worlde, being considered in his workes, to the intent that they should be without excuse:

¹³ For when God made the promise to Abraham, because he had no greater to sweare by, he sware by himselfe,

¹⁸ And am aliue, but I was dead: and beholde, I am aliue for euermore, Amen: and I haue the keyes of hell and of death.

⁹ And when those beasts gaue glorie, and honour, and thanks to him that sate on the throne, which liueth for euer and euer,

¹¹ Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receiue glory and honour, and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy wils sake they are, and haue beene created.

² And hee had in his hande a little booke open, and he put his right foote vpon the sea, and his left on the earth,

⁷ Saying with a loude voyce, Feare God, and giue glory to him: for the houre of his iugdement is come: and woriship him that made heauen and earth, and the sea, and the fountaines of waters.

¹⁷ And the seuenth Angel powred out his viall into the ayre: and there came a loude voyce out of the Temple of heauen from the throne, saying, It is done.
