³ For the Lord is a great God, and a great King aboue all gods.

¹¹ Now I know that the Lord is greater then all the gods: for as they haue dealt proudly with them, so are they recompensed.

² For the Lord is high, and terrible: a great King ouer all the earth.

¹ A song or Psalme committed to the sonnes of Korah. Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praysed, in the Citie of our God, euen vpon his holy Mountaine. ² Mount Zion, lying Northwarde, is faire in situation: it is the ioy of the whole earth, and the Citie of the great King.

⁸ Among the gods there is none like thee, O Lord, and there is none that can doe like thy workes. ⁹ All nations, whome thou hast made, shall come and worship before thee, O Lord, and shall glorifie thy Name. ¹⁰ For thou art great and doest wonderous things: thou art God alone.

⁴ For the Lord is great and much to be praysed: he is to be feared aboue all gods.

⁹ For thou, Lord, art most High aboue all the earth: thou art much exalted aboue all gods.

⁵ For I know that the Lord is great, and that our Lord is aboue all gods.

³ Great is the Lord, and most worthy to be praysed, and his greatnes is incomprehensible.

⁸ Feare ye not, neither be afraide: haue not I tolde thee of olde, and haue declared it? you are euen my witnesses, whether there be a God beside me, and that there is no God that I knowe not.

⁶ There is none like vnto thee, O Lord: thou art great, and thy name is great in power. ⁷ Who would not feare thee, O King of nations? for to thee appertaineth the dominion: for among all the wise men of the Gentiles, and in al their kingdomes there is none like thee.

¹⁰ But the Lord is the God of trueth: he is the liuing God, and an euerlasting King: at his anger the earth shall tremble, and the nations cannot abide his wrath. ¹¹ (Thus shall you say vnto them, The gods that haue not made the heauens and the earth, shall perish from the earth, and from vnder these heauens) ¹² He hath made the earth by his power, and established the worlde by his wisedome, and hath stretched out the heauen by his discretion. ¹³ Hee giueth by his voyce the multitude of waters in the heauen, and he causeth the cloudes to ascend from the endes of the earth: he turneth lightnings to rayne, and bringeth forth the winde out of his treasures. ¹⁴ Euery man is a beast by his owne knowledge: euery founder is confounded by the grauen image: for his melting is but falsehood, and there is no breath therein. ¹⁵ They are vanitie, and the worke of errours: in the time of their visitation they shall perish. ¹⁶ The portion of Iaakob is not like them: for he is the maker of all things, and Israel is the rodde of his inheritance: the Lord of hostes is his Name.

¹⁸ As I liue, saith the King, whose Name is the Lord of hostes, surely as Tabor is in the mountaines, and as Carmel is in the sea: so shall it come.

¹⁵ Moab is destroyed, and his cities burnt vp, and his chose yong men are gone downe to slaughter, saith ye King, whose name is ye Lord of hostes.

¹¹ For from the rising of the sunne vnto the going downe of the same, my Name is great among the Gentiles, and in euery place incense shalbe offred vnto my Name, and a pure offering: for my Name is great among the heathen, sayeth the Lord of hostes.

¹⁴ But cursed be the deceiuer, which hath in his flocke a male, and voweth, and sacrificeth vnto ye Lord a corrupt thing: for I am a great King, sayth the Lord of hostes, and my Name is terrible among the heathen.

³⁵ Nor yet by the earth: for it is his footestoole: neither by Hierusalem: for it is the citie of the great King.
