¹⁴ Like sheepe they lie in graue: death deuoureth them, and the righteous shall haue domination ouer them in the morning: for their beautie shall consume, when they shall goe from their house to graue.

²¹ Doeth not their dignitie goe away with them? do they not die, and that without wisdom?

¹³ Though I hope, yet the graue shall bee mine house, and I shall make my bed in the darke. ¹⁴ I shall say to corruption, Thou art my father, and to the worme, Thou art my mother and my sister.

¹³ They spend their dayes in wealth, and suddenly they go downe to the graue.

²⁶ They shall sleepe both in the dust, and the wormes shall couer them.

¹⁹ As the dry ground and heate consume the snowe waters, so shall the graue the sinners. ²⁰ The pitifull man shall forget him: the worme shall feele his sweetenes: he shalbe no more remembered, and the wicked shalbe broke like a tree.

²³ Surely I knowe that thou wilt bring mee to death, and to the house appoynted for all the liuing.

¹⁷ The wicked shall turne into hell, and all nations that forget God.

⁵ For he endureth but a while in his anger: but in his fauour is life: weeping may abide at euening, but ioy commeth in the morning.

¹¹ When thou with rebukes doest chastise man for iniquitie, thou as a mothe makest his beautie to consume: surely euery man is vanitie. Selah.

¹¹ Thou giuest vs as sheepe to bee eaten, and doest scatter vs among the nations.

³ He hath subdued the people vnder vs, and the nations vnder our feete.

⁷ And dust returne to the earth as it was, and the spirit returne to God that gaue it.

¹⁰ I saide in the cutting off of my dayes, I shall goe to the gates of the graue: I am depriued of the residue of my yeeres. ¹¹ I said, I shall not see the Lord, euen the Lord in the land of the liuing: I shall see man no more among the inhabitants of the world.

³ But thou, Lord, knowest me: thou hast seene me, and tried mine heart towarde thee: pull them out like sheepe for the slaughter, and prepare them for the day of slaughter.

¹⁸ And they shall take the kingdome of the Saintes of the most High, and possesse the kingdome for euer, euen for euer and euer.

²² Vntill the Ancient of dayes came, and iudgement was giuen to the Saintes of the most High: and the time approched, that the Saintes possessed the kingdome.

³ Then shall we haue knowledge, and indeuour our selues to know the Lord: his going forth is prepared as the morning, and he shall come vnto vs as the raine, and as the latter raine vnto the earth.

³ And ye shall treade downe the wicked: for they shall be dust vnder the soles of your feete in the day that I shall doe this, sayeth the Lord of hostes.

³⁰ That ye may eate, and drinke at my table in my kingdome, and sit on seates, and iudge the twelue tribes of Israel.

³⁶ As it is written, For thy sake are we killed all day long: we are counted as sheepe for the slaughter.

² Doe ye not knowe, that the Saintes shall iudge the worlde? If the worlde then shalbe iudged by you, are ye vnworthie to iudge the smallest matters?

²⁶ For he that ouercommeth and keepeth my workes vnto the end, to him will I giue power ouer nations, ²⁷ And he shall rule them with a rodde of yron: and as the vessels of a potter, shall they be broken.

⁴ And I sawe seates: and they sate vpon them, and iudgement was giuen vnto them, and I saw the soules of them that were beheaded for the witnes of Iesus, and for the word of God, and which did not worship the beast, neither his image, neither had taken his marke vpon their foreheads, or on their handes: and they liued, and reigned with Christ a thousand yeere. ⁵ But the rest of the dead men shall not liue againe, vntill the thousand yeres be finished: this is the first resurrection.
