¹ A Psalme of Dauid, when he changed his behauiour before Abimelech, who droue him away, and he departed. I will alway giue thankes vnto the Lord: his praise shalbe in my mouth continually.

² And Abraham said of Sarah his wife, She is my sister. Then Abimelech King of Gerar sent and tooke Sarah.

¹ And there was a famine in the lande besides the first famine that was in the dayes of Abraham. Wherefore Izhak went to Abimelech King of the Philistims vnto Gerar.

¹³ And hee changed his behauiour before them, and fayned him selfe mad in their handes, and scrabled on the doores of the gate, and let his spettel fall downe vpon his beard. ¹⁴ Then said Achish vnto his seruants, Lo, ye see the man is beside him selfe, wherefore haue ye brought him to me? ¹⁵ Haue I neede of mad men, that ye haue brought this fellowe to play the mad man in my presence? shall he come into mine house?

⁶ Vpon thee haue I beene stayed from the wombe: thou art he that tooke me out of my mothers bowels: my praise shalbe alwaies of thee.

⁸ Let my mouth be filled with thy praise, and with thy glory euery day.

¹⁴ But I will waite continually, and will praise thee more and more. ¹⁵ My mouth shall daily rehearse thy righteousnesse, and thy saluation: for I knowe not the nomber.

¹ A Psalme of David of Praise. O my God and King, I will extold thee, and will blesse thy Name for euer and euer. ² I will blesse thee dayly, and prayse thy Name for euer and euer.

²⁵ The feare of man bringeth a snare: but he that trusteth in the Lord, shalbe exalted.

¹⁵ Wherefore praise yee the Lord in the valleis, euen the Name of the Lord God of Israel, in the yles of the sea. ¹⁶ From the vttermost part of the earth wee haue heard praises, euen glory to the iust, and I sayd, My leanesse, my leanesse, woe is mee: the transgressours haue offended: yea, the transgressours haue grieuously offended.

⁴¹ So they departed from the Councill, reioycing, that they were counted worthy to suffer rebuke for his Name.

²⁵ Nowe at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sung Psalmes vnto God: and the prisoners heard them.

²⁰ Giuing thankes alwaies for all thinges vnto God euen the Father, in the Name of our Lord Iesus Christ,

¹⁷ And whatsoeuer ye shall doe, in worde or deede, doe all in the Name of the Lord Iesus, giuing thankes to God euen the Father by him.

¹⁸ In all thinges giue thankes: for this is the will of God in Christ Iesus toward you.

³ We ought to thanke God alwayes for you, brethren, as it is meete, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the loue of euery one of you toward another, aboundeth,

¹³ But we ought to giue thankes alway to God for you, brethren beloued of the Lord, because that God hath from the beginning chosen you to saluation, through sanctification of the Spirit, and the faith of trueth,
