² When the wicked, euen mine enemies and my foes came vpon mee to eate vp my flesh; they stumbled and fell.

²² Why do ye persecute me, as God? and are not satisfied with my flesh?

³¹ Did not the men of my Tabernacle say, Who shall giue vs of his flesh? we can not bee satisfied.

⁷ O Lord, arise: helpe me, my God: for thou hast smitten all mine enemies vpon the cheeke bone: thou hast broken the teeth of the wicked.

³ For that mine enemies are turned backe: they shall fall, and perish at thy presence.

⁴ Doe not all the workers of iniquitie know that they eate vp my people, as they eate bread? they call not vpon the Lord.

⁴ The sorowes of death compassed me, and the floods of wickednes made me afraide.

³⁸ I haue wounded them, that they were not able to rise: they are fallen vnder my feete. ³⁹ For thou hast girded me with strength to battell: them, that rose against me, thou hast subdued vnder me. ⁴⁰ And thou hast giuen me the neckes of mine enemies, that I might destroy them that hate me. ⁴¹ They cryed but there was none to saue them, euen vnto the Lord, but hee answered them not. ⁴² Then I did beate them small as the dust before the winde: I did treade them flat as the clay in the streetes.

¹⁶ For dogges haue compassed me, and the assemblie of the wicked haue inclosed me: they perced mine hands and my feete.

⁴ Doe not the workers of iniquitie knowe that they eate vp my people as they eate bread? they call not vpon God.

³ How long wil ye imagine mischiefe against a man? ye shalbe all slaine: ye shalbe as a bowed wall, or as a wall shaken. ⁴ Yet they consult to cast him downe from his dignitie: their delight is in lies, they blesse with their mouthes, but curse with their hearts. Selah.

¹² They came about mee like bees, but they were quenched as a fire of thornes: for in the Name of the Lord I shall destroy them.

¹⁵ And many among them shall stumble, and shall fall and shalbe broken and shalbe snared and shalbe taken.

³ Iudas then, after hee had receiued a band of men and officers of the high Priests, and of the Pharises, came thither with lanternes and torches, and weapons. ⁴ Then Iesus, knowing all things that shoulde come vnto him, went foorth and said vnto them, Whom seeke yee? ⁵ They answered him, Iesus of Nazareth. Iesus sayde vnto them, I am hee. Nowe Iudas also which betraied him, stoode with them. ⁶ Assoone then as hee had saide vnto them, I am hee, they went away backewardes, and fell to the grounde.
