³ For thy louing kindnesse is before mine eyes: therefore haue I walked in thy trueth.

³ I beseech thee, O Lord, remember nowe, howe I haue walked before thee in trueth and with a perfite heart, and haue done that which is good in thy sight: and Hezekiah wept sore.

⁵ Leade me foorth in thy trueth, and teache me: for thou art the God of my saluation: in thee doe I trust all the day.

¹ To him that excelleth. A Psalme of Dauid to giue instruction. When Doeg the Edomite came and shewed Saul, and saide to him, Dauid is come to the house of Abimelech. Why boastest thou thy selfe in thy wickednesse, O man of power? the louing kindenesse of God indureth dayly.

¹⁰ Mercie and trueth shall meete: righteousnes and peace shall kisse one another. ¹¹ Trueth shall bud out of the earth, and righteousnes shall looke downe from heauen. ¹² Yea, the Lord shall giue good things, and our land shall giue her increase. ¹³ Righteousnesse shall go before him, and shall set her steps in the way.

¹¹ Teach me thy way, O Lord, and I will walke in thy trueth: knit mine heart vnto thee, that I may feare thy Name.

² I will doe wisely in the perfite way, till thou commest to me: I will walke in the vprightnes of mine heart in the middes of mine house.

¹⁴² Thy righteousnesse is an euerlasting righteousnes, and thy Lawe is trueth.

⁵ O house of Iaakob, come ye, and let vs walke in the Lawe of the Lord.

²⁰ To the Law, and to the testimonie, if they speake not according to this worde: it is because there is no light in them.

⁴⁴ But I say vnto you, Loue your enemies: blesse them that curse you: doe good to them that hate you, and pray for them which hurt you, and persecute you, ⁴⁵ That ye may be the children of your father that is in heauen: for he maketh his sunne to arise on the euill, and the good, and sendeth raine on the iust, and vniust. ⁴⁶ For if ye loue them, which loue you, what rewarde shall you haue? Doe not the Publicanes euen the same? ⁴⁷ And if ye be friendly to your brethren onely, what singular thing doe ye? doe not euen the Publicanes likewise? ⁴⁸ Ye shall therefore be perfit, as your Father which is in heauen, is perfite.

³⁶ Be ye therefore mercifull, as your Father also is mercifull.

⁶ Iesus sayd vnto him, I am that Way, and that Trueth, and that Life. No man commeth vnto the Father, but by me.

¹⁸ But we al behold as in a mirrour the glory of the Lord with open face, and are changed into the same image, from glorie to glorie, as by the Spirit of the Lord.

¹⁴ For that loue of Christ constraineth vs, ¹⁵ Because we thus iudge, that if one be dead for all, then were all dead, and he died for all, that they which liue, shoulde not henceforth liue vnto themselues, but vnto him which died for them, and rose againe.

⁹ For ye knowe the grace of our Lord Iesus Christ, that hee being rich, for your sakes became poore, that yee through his pouertie might be made rich.

²⁰ But yee haue not so learned Christ, ²¹ If so be yee haue heard him, and haue bene taught by him, as the trueth is in Iesus, ²² That is, that yee cast off, concerning the conuersation in time past, that olde man, which is corrupt through the deceiueable lustes, ²³ And be renued in the spirit of your minde, ²⁴ And put on ye new man, which after God is created vnto righteousnes, and true holines. ²⁵ Wherefore cast off lying, and speake euery man truth vnto his neighbour: for we are members one of another.

³² Be ye courteous one to another, and tender hearted, freely forgiuing one another, euen as God for Christes sake, freely forgaue you.

¹² Now therfore as the elect of God holy and beloued, put on the bowels of mercies, kindnesse, humblenesse of minde, meekenesse, long suffering: ¹³ Forbearing one another, and forgiuing one another, if any man haue a quarel to another: euen as Christ forgaue, euen so doe ye.

⁷ But if we walke in the light as he is in the light, we haue fellowship one with another, and the blood of Iesus Christ his Sonne clenseth vs from all sinne.

⁷ Beloued, let vs loue one another: for loue commeth of God, and euery one that loueth, is borne of God, and knoweth God. ⁸ Hee that loueth not, knoweth not God: for God is loue. ⁹ Herein was that loue of God made manifest amongst vs, because God sent that his onely begotten sonne into this world, that we might liue through him. ¹⁰ Herein is that loue, not that we loued God, but that he loued vs, and sent his Sonne to be a reconciliation for our sinnes. ¹¹ Beloued, if God so loued vs, we ought also to loue one another. ¹² No man hath seene God at any time. If we loue one another, God dwelleth in vs, and his loue is perfect in vs.

¹⁹ We loue him, because he loued vs first. ²⁰ If any man say, I loue God, and hate his brother, he is a liar: for how can he that loueth not his brother whom he hath seene, loue God whom he hath not seene? ²¹ And this commandement haue we of him, that he that loueth God, should loue his brother also.

⁴ I reioyced greatly, that I founde of thy children walking in trueth, as we haue receiued a commandement of the Father.

³ For I reioyced greatly when the brethren came, and testified of the trueth that is in thee, how thou walkest in the trueth. ⁴ I haue no greater ioy then these, that is, to heare that my sonnes walke in veritie.

¹¹ Beloued, follow not that which is euill, but that which is good: he that doeth well, is of God: but he that doeth euill, hath not seene God.
