¹ To him that excelleth. A Psalme of Dauid. The King shall reioyce in thy strength, O Lord: yea how greatly shall he reioyce in thy saluation!

⁶ Euen I haue set my King vpon Zion mine holy mountaine.

⁵ That we may reioyce in thy saluation, and set vp the banner in the Name of our God, when the Lord shall performe all thy petitions. ⁶ Now know I that the Lord will helpe his anointed, and will heare him from his Sanctuarie, by the mightie helpe of his right hand.

⁹ Saue Lord: let the King heare vs in the day that we call.

⁷ The Lord is my strength and my shielde: mine heart trusted in him, and I was helped: therfore mine heart shall reioyce, and with my song will I praise him.

¹⁶ But I wil sing of thy power, and will prayse thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast bene my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble. ¹⁷ Vnto thee, O my Strength, wil I sing: for God is my defence, and my mercifull God.

⁷ In God is my saluation and my glory, the rocke of my strength: in God is my trust.

¹¹ But the King shall reioyce in God, and all that sweare by him shall reioyce in him: for the mouth of them that speake lyes, shall be stopped.

¹⁷ O God, thou hast taught me from my youth euen vntill nowe: therefore will I tell of thy wonderous workes,

¹ Come, let vs reioyce vnto the Lord: let vs sing aloude vnto the rocke of our saluation.

⁴ And the Kings power, that loueth iudgement: for thou hast prepared equitie: thou hast executed iudgement and iustice in Iaakob.

¹⁴ The Lord is my strength and song: for he hath beene my deliuerance. ¹⁵ The voice of ioy and deliuerance shall be in the tabernacles of the righteous, saying, The right hand of the Lord hath done valiantly.

⁶ For vnto vs a childe is borne, and vnto vs a Sonne is giuen: and the gouernement is vpon his shoulder, and he shall call his name Wonderfull, Counseller, The mightie God, The euerlasting Father, The prince of peace, ⁷ The increase of his gouernement and peace shall haue none end: he shall sit vpon the throne of Dauid, and vpon his kingdome, to order it, and to stablish it with iudgement and with iustice, from hencefoorth, euen for euer: the zeale of the Lord of hostes will performe this.

² Saying, Where is that King of the Iewes that is borne? for wee haue seene his starre in the East, and are come to worship him.

² Looking vnto Iesus the authour and finisher of our faith, who for the ioy that was set before him, endured the crosse, and despised the shame, and is set at the right hand of the throne of God.
