¹⁵ And ouerthrewe Pharaoh and his hoste in the red Sea: for his mercie endureth for euer:

²⁷ Then Moses stretched forth his hand vpon the Sea, and the Sea returned to his force early in the morning, and the Egyptians fled against it: but the Lord ouerthrew the Egyptians in the mids of the Sea. ²⁸ So the water returned and couered the charets and the horsemen, euen all the hoste of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them: there remained not one of them.

⁴ Pharaohs charets and his host hath he cast into the Sea: his chosen captaines also were drowned in the red Sea. ⁵ The depths haue couered them, they sanke to the bottome as a stone.

¹⁰ Thou blewest with thy winde, the Sea couered them, they sanke as leade in the mightie waters. ¹¹ Who is like vnto thee, O Lord, among the Gods! who is like thee so glorious in holinesse, fearefull in prayses, doing wonders! ¹² Thou stretchedst out thy right hande, the earth swallowed them. ¹³ Thou wilt by thy mercie cary this people, which thou deliueredst: thou wilt bring them in thy strength vnto thine holy habitation.

¹⁰ And shewed tokens and wonders vpon Pharaoh, and on all his seruants, and on all the people of his land: for thou knewest that they dealt proudely against them: therefore thou madest thee a Name, as appeareth this day. ¹¹ For thou didest breake vp the Sea before them, and they went through the middes of the Sea on dry lande: and those that pursued them, hast thou cast into the bottomes as a stone, in the mightie waters:

⁵ O God of our saluation, thou wilt answere vs with fearefull signes in thy righteousnes, O thou the hope of all the ends of the earth, and of them that are farre off in the sea.

⁵³ Yea, he caried them out safely, and they feared not, and the Sea couered their enemies.

⁶ Powre out thy wrath vpon the heathen that haue not knowen thee, and vpon the kingdomes that haue not called vpon thy Name. ⁷ For they haue deuoured Iaakob and made his dwelling place desolate. ⁸ Remember not against vs the former iniquities, but make haste and let thy tender mercies preuent vs: for we are in great miserie. ⁹ Helpe vs, O God of our saluation, for the glorie of thy Name, and deliuer vs, and be mercifull vnto our sinnes for thy Names sake.

⁹ He hath sent tokens and wonders into the middes of thee, O Egypt, vpon Pharaoh, and vpon all his seruants.

¹² And for thy mercy slay mine enemies, and destroy all them that oppresse my soule: for I am thy seruant.

⁷¹ That he would sende vs deliuerance from our enemies, and from the hands of all that hate vs, ⁷² That he might shewe mercie towards our fathers, and remember his holy couenant, ⁷³ And the othe which he sware to our father Abraham. ⁷⁴ Which was, that he would graunt vnto vs, that we being deliuered out of the handes of our enemies, should serue him without feare,
