¹ Praise the Lord, and call vpon his Name: declare his workes among the people.

²³ For there is no sorcerie in Iaakob, nor soothsaying in Israel: according to this time it shalbe sayde of Iaakob and of Israel, What hath God wrought?

⁷ Then at that time Dauid did appoint at the beginning to giue thankes to the Lord by the hand of Asaph and his brethren. ⁸ Praise the Lord and call vpon his Name: declare his workes among the people. ⁹ Sing vnto him, sing praise vnto him, and talke of all his wonderfull workes. ¹⁰ Reioyce in his holy Name: let the hearts of them that seeke the Lord reioyce. ¹¹ Seeke the Lord and his strength: seeke his face continually. ¹² Remember his marueilous workes that he hath done, his wonders, and the iudgements of his mouth, ¹³ O seede of Israel his seruant, O the children of Iaakob his chosen. ¹⁴ He is the Lord our God: his iudgements are throughout all the earth. ¹⁵ Remember his couenant for euer, and the worde, which hee commanded to a thousand generations: ¹⁶ Which he made with Abraham, and his othe to Izhak: ¹⁷ And hath confirmed it to Iaakob for a Law, and to Israel for an euerlasting couenant, ¹⁸ Saying, To thee will I giue the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance. ¹⁹ When ye were fewe in number, yea, a very fewe, and strangers therein, ²⁰ And walked about from nation to nation, and from one kingdome to another people, ²¹ He suffered no man to do them wrong, but rebuked Kings for their sakes, saying, ²² Touch not mine anoynted, and doe my Prophets no harme.

³⁴ Prayse the Lord, for hee is good, for his mercie endureth for euer.

³ Of Ieduthun, the sonnes of Ieduthun, Gedaliah, and Zeri, and Ieshaiah, Ashabiah and Mattithiah, six, vnder the hands of their father: Ieduthun sang prophecies with an harpe, for to giue thankes and to praise the Lord.

¹³ Now therefore our God, we thanke thee, and prayse thy glorious Name.

²⁰ And Dauid said to all the Congregation, Now blesse the Lord your God. And all the Congregation blessed the Lord God of their fathers, and bowed downe their heads, and worshipped the Lord and the King.

³ Declare his glory among all nations, and his wonders among all people.

⁶ Moses and Aaron were among his Priests, and Samuel among such as call vpon his Name: these called vpon the Lord, and he heard them.

⁴ Generation shall praise thy works vnto generation, and declare thy power. ⁵ I wil meditate of the beautie of thy glorious maiestie, and thy wonderfull workes, ⁶ And they shall speake of the power of thy fearefull actes, and I will declare thy greatnes.

¹¹ They shewe the glory of thy kingdome, and speake of thy power, ¹² To cause his power to be knowen to the sonnes of men, and the glorious renoume of his kingdome.

⁴ And ye shall say in that day, Prayse the Lord: call vpon his Name: declare his workes among the people: make mention of them, for his Name is exalted.

¹⁰ Art not thou the same, which hath dried the Sea, euen the waters of the great deepe, making the depth of the Sea a way for the redeemed to passe ouer?

²⁹ Therefore I make a decree, that euery people, nation, and language, which speake any blasphemie against the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, shalbe drawen in pieces, and their houses shall be made a iakes, because there is no god that can deliuer after this sort.

¹ I Nebuchad-nezzar being at rest in mine house, and flourishing in my palace, ² Saw a dreame, which made me afraide, and the thoughtes vpon my bed, and the visions of mine head troubled me. ³ Therefore made I a decree, that they should bring all the wise men of Babel before mee, that they might declare vnto me the interpretation of the dreame.

²⁶ I make a decree that in all the dominion of my kingdome, men tremble and feare before the God of Daniel: for he is the liuing God, and remayneth for euer: and his kingdome shall not perish, and his dominion shalbe euerlasting. ²⁷ Hee rescueth and deliuereth, and hee worketh signes and wonders in heauen and in earth, who hath deliuered Daniel from the power of the lyons.

³² But whosoeuer shall call on the Name of the Lord, shalbe saued: for in mount Zion, and in Ierusale shalbe deliuerance, as the Lord hath said, and in the remnant, whom the Lord shall call.

¹⁴ Moreouer here hee hath authoritie of the hie Priestes, to binde all that call on thy Name.

¹³ For whosoeuer shall call vpon the Name of the Lord, shalbe saued.
