¹⁶ When the Lord shall build vp Zion, and shall appeare in his glory,

¹⁸ Bee fauourable vnto Zion for thy good pleasure: builde the walles of Ierusalem.

³⁵ For God will saue Zion, and builde the cities of Iudah, that men may dwell there and haue it in possession.

⁶ The heauens declare his righteousnes, and all the people see his glory.

² The Lord doth builde vp Ierusalem, and gather together the dispersed of Israel.

² It shall be in the last dayes, that the mountaine of the house of the Lord shalbe prepared in the top of the mountaines, and shall be exalted aboue the hilles, and all nations shall flowe vnto it. ³ And many people shall go, and say, Come, and let vs go vp to the mountaine of the Lord, to the house of the God of Iaakob, and hee will teach vs his wayes, and we will walke in his paths: for the Lawe shall go foorth of Zion, and the worde of the Lord from Ierusalem,

²⁶ This is the counsell that is consulted vpon the whole worlde, and this is the hande stretched out ouer all the nations,

¹ Arise, O Ierusalem: be bright, for thy light is come, and the glorie of the Lord is risen vpon thee. ² For beholde, darkenesse shall couer the earth, and grosse darkenesse the people: but the Lord shall arise vpon thee, and his glory shall be seene vpon thee.

⁷ All the sheepe of Kedar shall be gathered vnto thee: the rammes of Nebaioth shall serue thee: they shall come vp to bee accepted vpon mine altar: and I will beautifie the house of my glorie.

³ To appoint vnto them that mourne in Zion, and to giue vnto them beautie for ashes, the oyle of ioye for mourning, the garment of gladnesse for the spirit of heauinesse, that they might be called trees of righteousnesse, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.

¹⁸ For I will visite their workes, and their imaginations: for it shall come that I will gather all nations, and tongues, and they shall come, and see my glorie.

⁴ Againe I will builde thee, and thou shalt be builded, O virgine Israel: thou shalt stil be adorned with thy timbrels, and shalt goe foorth in the dance of them that be ioyfull.

⁷ And I wil cause the captiuitie of Iudah and the captiuitie of Israel to returne, and will build them as at the first.

⁹ The women of my people haue ye cast out from their pleasant houses, and from their childre haue ye taken away my glorie continually.

⁶ Ho, ho, come forth, and flee from the land of the North, saith the Lord: for I haue scattered you into the foure winds of the heauen, saith ye Lord. ⁷ Saue thy selfe, O Zion, that dwellest with the daughter of Babel. ⁸ For thus saith the Lord of hostes, After this glory hath hee sent me vnto the nations, which spoyled you: for he that toucheth you, toucheth the apple of his eye. ⁹ For beholde, I will lift vp mine hand vpon them: and they shalbe a spoyle to those that serued them, and ye shall knowe, that the Lord of hostes hath sent me. ¹⁰ Reioyce, and be glad, O daughter Zion: for loe, I come, and will dwell in the middes of thee, saith the Lord. ¹¹ And many nations shall be ioyned to the Lord in that day, and shalbe my people: and I will dwell in the middes of thee, and thou shalt knowe that the Lord of hostes hath sent me vnto thee. ¹² And the Lord shall inherite Iudah his portion in the holy lande, and shall chuse Ierusalem againe. ¹³ Let all flesh be still before the Lord: for he is raised vp out of his holy place.
