²³ The feare of the Lord leadeth to life: and he that is filled therewith, shall continue, and shall not be visited with euill.

⁹ The feare of the Lord is cleane, and indureth for euer: the iudgements of the Lord are trueth: they are righteous altogether,

¹³ His soule shall dwell at ease, and his seede shall inherite the land.

¹⁸ Beholde, the eye of the Lord is vpon them that feare him, and vpon them, that trust in his mercie, ¹⁹ To deliuer their soules from death, and to preserue them in famine.

⁹ Feare the Lord, ye his Saintes: for nothing wanteth to them that feare him. ¹⁰ The lyons doe lacke and suffer hunger, but they, which seeke the Lord, shall want nothing that is good. ¹¹ Come children, hearken vnto me: I will teache you the feare of the Lord.

⁹ Surely his saluation is neere to them that feare him, that glory may dwell in our land.

¹⁴ Fill vs with thy mercie in the morning: so shall we reioyce and be glad all our dayes.

¹⁶ With long life wil I satisfie him, and shew him my saluation.

¹⁷ But the louing kindnesse of the Lord endureth for euer and euer vpon them that feare him, and his righteousnes vpon childrens children,

¹⁸ The Lord is neere vnto all that call vpon him: yea, to all that call vpon him in trueth. ¹⁹ He wil fulfill the desire of them that feare him: he also wil heare their cry, and wil saue them. ²⁰ The Lord preserueth all them that loue him: but he will destroy all the wicked.

²⁷ The feare of the Lord increaseth the dayes: but the yeeres of the wicked shalbe diminished.

²¹ There shall none iniquitie come to the iust: but the wicked are full of euill.

²⁶ In the feare of the Lord is an assured strength, and his children shall haue hope. ²⁷ The feare of the Lord is as a welspring of life, to auoyde the snares of death.

¹⁰ If thou powre out thy soule to the hungrie, and refresh the troubled soule: then shall thy light spring out in the darkenes, and thy darkenes shalbe as the noone day. ¹¹ And the Lord shall guide thee continually, and satisfie thy soule in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watred garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters faile not.

¹⁶ Then spake they that feared the Lord, euery one to his neighbour, and the Lord hearkened and heard it, and a booke of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the Lord, and that thought vpon his Name. ¹⁷ And they shall be to me, sayeth the Lord of hostes, in that day that I shall do this, for a flocke, and I will spare them, as a man spareth his owne sonne that serueth him.

² But vnto you that feare my Name, shall the sunne of righteousnesse arise, and health shall be vnder his wings, and ye shall goe forth, and growe vp as fat calues.

⁶ Blessed are they which hunger and thirst for righteousnes: for they shalbe filled.

³¹ Then had the Churches rest through all Iudea, and Galile, and Samaria, and were edified and walked in the feare of the Lord, and were multiplied by the comfort of the holy Ghost.

²⁸ Also we knowe that all thinges worke together for the best vnto them that loue God, euen to them that are called of his purpose.

¹¹ I speake not because of want: for I haue learned in whatsoeuer state I am, therewith to bee content. ¹² And I can be abased, and I can abounde: euery where in all things I am instructed, both to be full, and to be hungrie, and to abounde, and to haue want.

⁸ For bodily exercise profiteth litle: but godlinesse is profitable vnto all things, which hath the promise of the life present, and of that that is to come.

⁶ But godlinesse is great gaine, if a man be content with that he hath. ⁷ For we brought nothing into the world, and it is certaine, that we can carie nothing out. ⁸ Therefore when wee haue foode and raiment, let vs therewith be content. ⁹ For they that will be rich, fall into tentation and snares, and into many foolish and noysome lustes, which drowne men in perdition and destruction.

¹⁸ And the Lord will deliuer me from euery euil worke, and will preserue me vnto his heauenly kingdome: to whome be praise for euer and euer, Amen.

⁵ Let your conuersation be without couetousnesse, and be content with those things that ye haue, for he hath said, ⁶ I will not faile thee, neither forsake thee:
