²⁰ He that is wise in his busines, shall finde good: and he that trusteth in the Lord, he is blessed.

³⁸ Then saide Pharaoh vnto his seruants, Can we finde such a man as this, in whom is the Spirit of God? ³⁹ The Pharaoh said to Ioseph, For as much as God hath shewed thee all this, there is no man of vnderstanding, or of wisedome like vnto thee. ⁴⁰ Thou shalt be ouer mine house, and at thy word shall all my people be armed, onely in the kings throne will I be aboue thee.

²⁰ And they were holpen against them, and the Hagarims were deliuered into their hande, and all that were with them: for they cryed to God in the battel, and he heard them, because they trusted in him.

¹² Kisse the sonne, least he be angry, and ye perish in the way, when his wrath shall suddenly burne. blessed are all that trust in him.

⁸ He that possesseth vnderstanding, loueth his owne soule, and keepeth wisdome to finde goodnesse.

¹⁹ That thy confidence may be in the Lord, I haue shewed thee this day: thou therefore take heede. ²⁰ Haue not I written vnto thee three times in counsels and knowledge,

³ Through wisdome is an house builded, and with vnderstanding it is established. ⁴ And by knowledge shall the chambers bee filled with all precious, and pleasant riches. ⁵ A wise man is strong: for a man of vnderstanding encreaseth his strength.

³ By an assured purpose wilt thou preserue perfite peace, because they trusted in thee. ⁴ Trust in the Lord for euer: for in the Lord God is strength for euermore.

¹⁸ Yet therefore will the Lord waite, that he may haue mercy vpon you, and therefore wil he be exalted, that hee may haue compassion vpon you: for the Lord is the God of iudgement. Blessed are all they that waite for him.

⁷ Blessed be the man, that trusteth in ye Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. ⁸ For he shall be as a tree that is planted by the water, which spreadeth out her rootes by the riuer, and shall not feele when the heate commeth, but her leafe shall be greene, and shall not care for the yeere of drought, neyther shall cease from yeelding fruit.

¹⁹ And the King communed with them: and among them al was found none like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah: therefore stoode they before the king. ²⁰ And in all matters of wisedome, and vnderstanding that the King enquired of them, hee founde them tenne times better then all the inchanters and astrologians, that were in all his realme. ²¹ And Daniel was vnto the first yeere of king Cyrus.

²⁸ Wherefore Nebuchad-nezzar spake and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, who hath sent his Angel, and deliuered his seruants, that put their trust in him, and haue changed the Kings commandement, and yeelded their bodies rather then they would serue or worship any god, saue their owne God.

²³ Then was the King exceeding glad for him, and commanded that they should take Daniel out of the denne: so Daniel was brought out of the denne, and no maner of hurt was found vpon him, because he beleeued in his God.

¹⁶ Behold, I send you as sheepe in the middes of the wolues: be yee therefore wise as serpents, and innocent as doues.
