¹ False balances are an abomination vnto the Lord: but a perfite weight pleaseth him.

³⁵ Ye shall not doe vniustly in iudgement, in line, in weight, or in measure. ³⁶ You shall haue iust ballances, true weightes, a true Ephah, and a true Hin. I am the Lord your God, which haue brought you out of the lande of Egypt.

¹³ Thou shalt not haue in thy bagge two maner of weightes, a great and a small, ¹⁴ Neither shalt thou haue in thine house diuers measures, a great and a small: ¹⁵ But thou shalt haue a right and iust weight: a perfite and a iust measure shalt thou haue, that thy dayes may be lengthened in the land, which the Lord thy God giueth thee. ¹⁶ For all that doe such things, and all that doe vnrighteously, are abomination vnto the Lord thy God.

¹¹ A true weight and balance are of the Lord: all the weightes of the bagge are his worke.

¹⁰ Diuers weightes, and diuers measures, both these are euen abomination vnto the Lord.

²³ Diuers weightes are an abomination vnto the Lord, and deceitful balances are not good.

¹⁰ Ye shall haue iust balances, and a true Ephah, and a true Bath. ¹¹ The Ephah and the Bath shalbe equall: a Bath shall conteyne the tenth part of an Homer, and an Ephah the tenth part of an Homer: the equalitie thereof shalbe after the Homer. ¹² And the shekel shalbe twentie gerahs, and twentie shekels, and fiue and twentie shekels and fifteene shekels shalbe your Maneh.

⁷ He is Canaan: the balances of deceit are in his hand: he loueth to oppresse.

⁵ Saying, When will the newe moneth bee gone, that we may sell corne? and the Sabbath, that we may set forth wheate, and make the Ephah small, and the shekel great, and falsifie the weights by deceit? ⁶ That we may buy the poore for siluer, and the needie for shooes: yea, and sell the refuse of the wheate.

¹⁰ Are yet the treasures of wickednes in the house of the wicked, and the scant measure, that is abominable? ¹¹ Shall I iustifie the wicked balances, and the bag of deceitfull weightes?
