³ For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirite, and reioyce in Christ Iesus, and haue no confidence in the flesh:

⁵ Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shalbe Abraham: for a father of many nations haue I made thee. ⁶ Also I will make thee exceeding fruitfull, and will make nations of thee: yea, Kings shall proceede of thee. ⁷ Moreouer I wil establish my couenant betweene me and thee, and thy seede after thee in their generations, for an euerlasting couenant, to be God vnto thee and to thy seede after thee. ⁸ And I will giue thee and thy seede after thee the land, wherein thou art a stranger, euen all the land of Canaan, for an euerlasting possession, and I will be their God. ⁹ Againe God said vnto Abraham, Thou also shalt keepe my couenant, thou, and thy seede after thee in their generations. ¹⁰ This is my couenant which ye shall keepe betweene me and you, and thy seede after thee, Let euery man childe among you be circumcised: ¹¹ That is, ye shall circumcise the foreskin of your flesh, and it shalbe a signe of the couenant betweene me and you.

¹⁶ Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and harden your neckes no more.

⁶ And the Lord thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seede, that thou mayest loue the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with al thy soule, that thou maiest liue.

³ Reioyce in his holy Name: let the heart of them that seeke the Lord, reioyce.

²⁵ The whole seede of Israel shall be iustified, and glorie in the Lord.

⁴ Breake vp your fallowe ground, and sowe not among the thornes: be circumcised to the Lord, and take away the foreskinnes of your hearts, ye men of Iudah, and inhabitants of Ierusalem, lest my wrath come foorth like fire, and burne, that none can quenche it, because of the wickednesse of your inuentions.

²³ Thus saith the Lord, Let not the wise man glory in his wisedome, nor the strong man glorie in his strength, neyther the riche man glorie in his riches. ²⁴ But let him that glorieth, glorie in this, that he vnderstandeth, and knoweth me: for I am the Lord, which shewe mercie, iudgement, and righteousnes in the earth: for in these things I delite, sayth the Lord.

²⁶ Egypt and Iudah, and Edom, and the children of Ammon, and Moab, and all the vtmost corners of them that dwell in the wildernesse: for all these nations are vncircumcised, and al the house of Israel are vncircumcised in the heart.

¹¹ For from the rising of the sunne vnto the going downe of the same, my Name is great among the Gentiles, and in euery place incense shalbe offred vnto my Name, and a pure offering: for my Name is great among the heathen, sayeth the Lord of hostes.

²³ But the houre commeth, and nowe is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit, and trueth: for the Father requireth euen such to worship him. ²⁴ God is a Spirite, and they that worship him, must worship him in spirit and trueth.

⁹ For God is my witnesse (whom I serue in my spirit in the Gospel of his Sonne) that without ceasing I make mention of you

²⁵ For circucision verely is profitable, if thou do the Lawe: but if thou be a transgressour of the Lawe, thy circumcision is made vncircumcision. ²⁶ Therefore if the vncircumcision keepe the ordinances of the Lawe, shall not his vncircumcision be counted for circumcision? ²⁷ And shall not vncircumcision which is by nature (if it keepe the Lawe) condemne thee which by the letter and circumcision art a transgressour of the Lawe? ²⁸ For hee is not a Iewe, which is one outwarde: neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: ²⁹ But he is a Iewe which is one within, and the circumcision is of the heart, in the spirite not in the letter, whose praise is not of men, but of God.

¹¹ After, he receiued the signe of circumcision, as the seale of the righteousnesse of ye faith which he had, when he was vncircumcised, that he should be the father of all them that beleeue, not being circumcised, that righteousnesse might be imputed to them also, ¹² And the father of circumcision, not vnto them onely which are of the circumcision, but vnto them also that walke in the steppes of the faith of our father Abraham, which he had when he was vncircumcised.

⁶ But now we are deliuered from the Lawe, he being dead in whom we were holden, that we should serue in newnesse of Spirite, and not in the oldnesse of the letter.

¹⁵ For ye haue not receiued the Spirit of bodage, to feare againe: but ye haue receiued the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry Abba, Father.

²⁶ Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we knowe not what to pray as wee ought: but the Spirit it selfe maketh request for vs with sighs, which cannot be expressed. ²⁷ But he that searcheth the heartes, knoweth what is the meaning of the Spirit: for he maketh request for ye Saints, according to the wil of God.

¹⁷ I haue therefore whereof I may reioyce in Christ Iesus in those things which pertaine to God.

²⁹ That no flesh shoulde reioyce in his presence. ³⁰ But ye are of him in Christ Iesus, who of God is made vnto vs wisedome and righteousnesse, and sanctification, and redemption, ³¹ That, according as it is written, Hee that reioyceth, let him reioyce in the Lord.

²⁵ If we liue in the Spirit, let vs also walke in the Spirit.

¹³ For they themselues which are circumcised keepe not the law, but desire to haue you circumcised, that they might reioyce in your flesh. ¹⁴ But God forbid that I should reioyce, but in ye crosse of our Lord Iesus Christ, whereby the world is crucified vnto me, and I vnto ye world. ¹⁵ For in Christ Iesus neither circumcision auaileth any thing, nor vncircumcision, but a newe creature.

¹⁸ And pray alwayes with all maner prayer and supplication in the Spirit: and watch thereunto with all perseuerance and supplication for al Saints,

⁴ Though I might also haue confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, much more I, ⁵ Circumcised the eight day, of the kinred of Israel, of the tribe of Beniamin, an Ebrewe of the Ebrewes, by the Lawe a Pharise. ⁶ Concerning zeale, I persecuted ye Church: touching the righteousnesse which is in the Law, I was vnrebukeable. ⁷ But the thinges that were vantage vnto me, the same I counted losse for Christes sake. ⁸ Yea, doubtlesse I thinke all thinges but losse for the excellent knowledge sake of Christ Iesus my Lord, for whome I haue counted all things losse, and doe iudge them to bee dongue, that I might winne Christ, ⁹ And might bee founde in him, that is, not hauing mine owne righteousnesse, which is of the Lawe, but that which is through the faith of Christ, euen the righteousnesse which is of God through faith,

¹¹ In whome also yee are circumcised with circumcision made without handes, by putting off the sinfull body of the flesh, through the circumcision of Christ,

²³ Being borne anewe, not of mortall seede, but of immortall, by the woorde of God, who liueth and endureth for euer. ²⁴ For all flesh is as grasse, and all the glorie of man is as the flower of grasse. The grasse withereth, and the flower falleth away. ²⁵ But the worde of the Lord endureth for euer: and this is the woorde which is preached among you.

²⁰ But, yee beloued, edifie your selues in your most holy faith, praying in the holy Ghost,
