⁴⁷ Yet if they turne againe vnto their heart in the lande (to the which they be caryed away captiues) and returne and pray vnto thee in the lande of them that caryed them away captiues, saying, We haue sinned, we haue transgressed, and done wickedly,

⁶ Therefore I abhorre my selfe, and repent in dust and ashes.

³⁰ Therefore I will iudge you, O house of Israel, euery one according to his wayes, sayth the Lord God: returne therefore and cause others to turne away from all your transgressions: so iniquitie shall not be your destruction. ³¹ Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye haue transgressed, and make you a newe heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel? ³² For I desire not the death of him that dyeth, sayth the Lord God: cause therefore one another to returne, and liue ye.

¹¹ Say vnto them, As I liue, sayeth the Lord God, I desire not the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turne from his way and liue: turne you, turne you from your euill waies, for why will ye die, O ye house of Israel?

⁴⁴ And in the dayes of these Kings, shall the God of heauen set vp a kingdome, which shall neuer be destroyed: and this kingdome shall not be giuen to another people, but it shall breake, and destroy al these kingdomes, and it shall stand for euer.

¹⁷ From that time Iesus began to preach, and to say, Amende your liues: for the kingdome of heauen is at hand.

³ Blessed are the poore in spirit, for theirs is the kingdome of heauen.

¹⁰ Blessed are they which suffer persecution for righteousnes sake: for theirs is the kingdome of heauen.

¹⁹ Whosoeuer therefore shall breake one of these least commandements, and teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdome of heauen: but whosoeuer shall obserue and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdome of heauen. ²⁰ For I say vnto you, except your righteousnes exceede the righteousnes of the Scribes and Pharises, ye shall not enter into the kingdome of heauen.

¹⁰ Thy Kingdome come. Thy will be done euen in earth, as it is in heauen.

³³ But seeke ye first the kingdome of God, and his righteousnesse, and all these things shall be ministred vnto you.

⁷ And as ye goe, preach, saying, The kingdome of heauen is at hand.

¹¹ Verely I say vnto you, among them which are begotten of women, arose there not a greater then Iohn Baptist: notwithstanding, he that is the least in the kingdome of heauen, is greater then he. ¹² And from the time of Iohn Baptist hitherto, the kingdome of heauen suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.

²⁰ Then began he to vpbraide the cities, wherein most of his great workes were done, because they repented not.

¹ The same time the disciples came vnto Iesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdome of heauen? ² And Iesus called a litle childe vnto him, and set him in the mids of them, ³ And sayd, Verely I say vnto you, except ye be conuerted, and become as litle children, ye shall not enter into the kingdome of heauen. ⁴ Whosoeuer therefore shall humble himselfe as this litle childe, the same is the greatest in the kingdome of heauen.

²³ Therefore is the kingdome of heauen likened vnto a certaine King, which would take an account of his seruants.

¹ For the kingdome of heauen is like vnto a certaine, housholder, which went out at the dawning of the day to hire labourers into his vineyarde.

²⁹ But he answered, and said, I will not: yet afterward he repented himselfe, and went. ³⁰ Then came he to the second, and said likewise. And he answered, and said, I will, Syr: yet he went not. ³¹ Whether of them twaine did the will of the father? They saide vnto him, The first. Iesus saide vnto them, Verely I say vnto you, that the Publicanes and the harlots goe before you into the kingdome of God. ³² For Iohn came vnto you in the way of righteousnes, and yee beleeued him not: but the Publicanes, and the harlots beleeued him, and ye, though ye sawe it, were not mooued with repentance afterward, that ye might beleeue him.

² The kingdome of heauen is like vnto a certaine King which maried his sonne,

¹³ Wo therefore be vnto you, Scribes and Pharises, hypocrites, because ye shut vp the kingdome of heauen before men: for ye your selues go not in, neither suffer ye them that would enter, to come in.

¹ Then the kingdome of heauen shalbe likened vnto tenne virgins, which tooke their lampes, and went foorth to meete the bridegrome.

¹⁴ For the kingdome of heauen is as a man that going into a strange countrey, called his seruants, and deliuered to them his goods.

⁴ Iohn did baptize in the wildernesse, and preach the baptisme of amendment of life, for remission of sinnes.

¹⁵ And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdome of God is at hand: repent and beleeue the Gospel.

¹² And they went out, and preached, that men should amend their liues.

²⁰ And hee lifted vp his eyes vpon his disciples, and sayd, Blessed be ye poore: for yours is the kingdome of God.

³ I tell you, nay: but except ye amend your liues, ye shall all likewise perish.

⁷ I say vnto you, that likewise ioy shall be in heauen for one sinner that conuerteth, more then for ninetie and nine iust men, which neede none amendment of life.

¹⁰ Likewise I say vnto you, there is ioy in the presence of the Angels of God, for one sinner that conuerteth.

³⁰ And he sayde, Nay, father Abraham: but if one came vnto them from the dead, they will amend their liues.

³¹ So likewise yee, when yee see these thinges come to passe, knowe ye that the kingdome of God is neere.

⁴⁷ And that repentance, and remission of sinnes should be preached in his Name among all nations, beginning at Hierusalem.

³ Iesus answered, and said vnto him, Verely, verely I say vnto thee, except a man be borne againe, he can not see the kingdome of God. ⁴ Nicodemus sayde vnto him, Howe can a man be borne which is olde? can he enter into his mothers wombe againe, and be borne? ⁵ Iesus answered, Verely, verely I say vnto thee, except that a man be borne of water and of the Spirite, hee can not enter into the kingdome of God.

³⁸ Then Peter said vnto them, Amend your liues, and bee baptized euery one of you in the Name of Iesus Christ for the remission of sinnes: and ye shall receiue the gift of the holy Ghost.

¹⁹ Amend your liues therefore, and turne, that your sinnes may be put away, whe the time of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.

¹⁸ When they heard these things, they helde their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles graunted repentance vnto life.

³⁰ And the time of this ignorance God regarded not: but nowe hee admonisheth all men euery where to repent,

²¹ Witnessing both to the Iewes, and to the Grecians the repentance towarde God, and faith toward our Lord Iesus Christ.

²⁰ But shewed first vnto them of Damascus, and at Hierusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Iudea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turne to God, and doe workes worthy amendment of life.

¹⁰ For godly sorowe causeth repentance vnto saluation, not to be repented of: but the worldly sorowe causeth death.

¹³ Who hath deliuered vs from the power of darkenesse, and hath translated vs into the kingdome of his deare Sonne,

²⁵ Instructing them with meekenesse that are contrary minded, prouing if God at any time will giue them repentance, that they may acknowledge the trueth,

¹ Therefore, leauing the doctrine of the beginning of Christ, let vs be led forward vnto perfection, not laying againe ye foundation of repetance from dead workes, and of faith toward God,

⁹ The Lord of that promise is not slacke (as some men count slackenesse) but is pacient toward vs, and would haue no man to perish, but would all men to come to repentance.

⁵ Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and doe the first workes: or els I will come against thee shortly, and will remooue thy candlesticke out of his place, except thou amend.

²¹ And I gaue her space to repent of her fornication, and she repented not.
