⁴⁷ When Iesus sawe the thoughtes of their heartes, he tooke a litle childe, and set him by him,

² Thou knowest my sitting and my rising: thou vnderstandest my thought afarre off.

²³ Try mee, O God, and knowe mine heart: prooue me and know my thoughtes,

¹⁰ I the Lord search the heart, and try ye reines, euen to giue euery man according to his wayes, and according to the fruite of his workes.

⁴ But when Iesus saw their thoughts, he said, Wherefore thinke yee euil things in your hearts?

² And Iesus called a litle childe vnto him, and set him in the mids of them, ³ And sayd, Verely I say vnto you, except ye be conuerted, and become as litle children, ye shall not enter into the kingdome of heauen. ⁴ Whosoeuer therefore shall humble himselfe as this litle childe, the same is the greatest in the kingdome of heauen.

¹³ Then were brought to him litle children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them. ¹⁴ But Iesus sayd, Suffer the litle children, and forbid them not to come to me: for of such is the kingdome of heauen. ¹⁵ And when he had put his hands on them, he departed thence.

¹⁴ But when Iesus sawe it, he was displeased, and said to them, Suffer the litle children to come vnto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdome of God. ¹⁵ Verely I say vnto you, Whosoeuer shall not receiue the kingdome of God as a litle childe, he shall not enter therein.

²² But when Iesus perceiued their reasoning, he answered, and sayd vnto them, What reason ye in your hearts?

³⁹ Nowe when the Pharise which bade him, saw it, he spake within himselfe, saying, If this man were a Prophet, hee woulde surely haue knowen who, and what maner of woman this is which toucheth him: for she is a sinner. ⁴⁰ And Iesus answered, and saide vnto him, Simon, I haue somewhat to say vnto thee. And he said, Master, say on.

²⁵ And had no neede that any should testifie of man: for he knewe what was in man.

³⁰ Nowe knowe wee that thou knowest all things, and needest not that any man should aske thee. By this we beleeue, that thou art come out from God.

¹⁷ He said vnto him the third time, Simon the sonne of Iona, louest thou me? Peter was sorie because he said to him the third time, Louest thou me? and said vnto him, Lord, thou knowest all things: thou knowest that I loue thee. Iesus saide vnto him, Feede my sheepe.

²⁰ Brethren, be not children in vnderstanding, but as concerning maliciousnes be children, but in vnderstanding be of a ripe age.

¹³ Neither is there any creature, which is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and open vnto his eyes, with whome we haue to doe.

¹ Wherefore, laying aside all maliciousnes, and all guile, and dissimulation, and enuie, and all euill speaking, ² As newe borne babes desire that sincere milke of the woorde, that yee may growe thereby,

²³ And I will kill her children with death: and all the Churches shall know that I am he which searche the reines and heartes: and I will giue vnto euery one of you according vnto your workes.
