⁵ And when Iesus came to the place, he looked vp, and saw him, and said vnto him, Zaccheus, come downe at once: for to day I must abide at thine house.

³ And he said, Lord, if I haue now founde fauour in thy sight, goe not, I pray thee, from thy seruant. ⁴ Let a litle water, I pray you, be brought, and wash your feete, and rest your selues vnder the tree. ⁵ And I will bring a morsell of bread, that you may comfort your hearts, afterward ye shall go your wayes: for therefore are ye come to your seruant. And they said, Do euen as thou hast said.

¹ And in the euening there came two Angels to Sodom: and Lot sate at the gate of Sodom, and Lot sawe them, and rose vp to meete them, and he bowed himselfe with his face to the ground. ² And he saide, See my Lords, I pray you turne in nowe into your seruants house, and tarie all night, and wash your feete, and ye shall rise vp early and goe your wayes. Who saide, Nay, but we will abide in the streete all night. ³ Then he preassed vpon them earnestly, and they turned in to him, and came to his house, and he made them a feast, and did bake vnleauened bread, and they did eate.

² I will doe wisely in the perfite way, till thou commest to me: I will walke in the vprightnes of mine heart in the middes of mine house. ³ I wil set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the worke of them that fall away: it shall not cleaue vnto me.

¹ To him that excelleth. A Psalme of David. O Lord, thou hast tried me and knowen me. ² Thou knowest my sitting and my rising: thou vnderstandest my thought afarre off. ³ Thou compassest my pathes, and my lying downe, and art accustomed to all my wayes.

¹⁰ All that thine hand shall finde to doe, doe it with all thy power: for there is neither worke nor inuention, nor knowledge, nor wisedome in the graue whither thou goest.

⁶ And when I passed by thee, I saw thee polluted in thine owne blood, and I said vnto thee, whe thou wast in thy blood, Thou shalt liue: euen when thou wast in thy blood, I saide vnto thee, Thou shalt liue.

Iesus sayd vnto her, Giue me drinke. ⁸ For his disciples were gone away into the citie, to buy meate. ⁹ Then sayde the woman of Samaria vnto him, Howe is it, that thou being a Iewe, askest drinke of me, which am a woman of Samaria? For the Iewes meddle not with the Samaritans. ¹⁰ Iesus answered and saide vnto her, If thou knewest that gift of God, and who it is that saieth to thee, Giue mee drinke, thou wouldest haue asked of him, and hee woulde haue giuen thee, water of life.

²³ Iesus answered, and sayd vnto him, If any man loue me, he will keepe my worde, and my Father will loue him, and we wil come vnto him, and wil dwell with him.

¹ So we therefore as workers together beseech you, that ye receiue not the grace of God in vaine.

¹⁷ That Christ may dwell in your heartes by faith:

² Be not forgetfull to intertaine strangers: for thereby some haue receiued Angels into their houses vnwares.

²⁰ Behold, I stand at the doore, and knocke. If any man heare my voice and open ye doore, I wil come in vnto him, and will suppe with him, and he with me.
