⁴ What man of you hauing an hundreth sheepe, if hee lose one of them, doeth not leaue ninetie and nine in the wildernesse, and goe after that which is lost, vntill he finde it?

¹⁷⁶ I haue gone astraye like a lost sheepe: seeke thy seruant, for I doe not forget thy commandements.

⁶ All we like sheepe haue gone astraye: wee haue turned euery one to his owne way, and the Lord hath layed vpon him the iniquitie of vs all.

⁶ My people hath beene as lost sheepe: their shepheards haue caused them to goe astray, and haue turned them away to the mountaines: they haue gone from mountaine to hil, and forgotten their resting place.

⁸ As I liue, sayeth the Lord God, surely because my flocke was spoyled, and my sheepe were deuoured of all the beasts of the fielde, hauing no shepherde, neither did my shepherdes seeke my sheepe, but the shepherdes fedde them selues, and fedde not my sheepe,

¹¹ For thus sayeth the Lord God, Beholde, I will search my sheepe, and seeke them out. ¹² As a shepherd searcheth out his flocke, when he hath bene among his sheepe that are scattered, so wil I seeke out my sheepe and wil deliuer them out of all places, where they haue beene scattered in the cloudie and darke day,

¹⁶ I will seeke that which was lost, and bring againe that which was driue away, and will binde vp that which was broken, and will strengthen the weake but I wil destroy the fat and the strong, and I will feede them with iudgement.

³¹ And yee my sheepe, the sheepe of my pasture are men, and I am your God, saith the Lord God.

¹¹ And he said vnto the, What man shall there be among you, that hath a sheepe, and if it fal on a Sabbath day into a pit, doth not take it and lift it out?

¹² How thinke ye? If a man haue an hundreth sheepe, and one of them be gone astray, doeth he not leaue ninetie and nine, and go into the mountaines, and seeke that which is gone astray? ¹³ And if so be that he finde it, verely I say vnto you, he reioyceth more of that sheepe, then of the ninetie and nine which went not astray: ¹⁴ So is it not ye wil of your Father which is in heauen, that one of these litle ones should perish.

¹⁵ Then answered him the Lord, and said, Hypocrite, doth not eche one of you on the Sabbath day loose his oxe or his asse from the stall, and leade him away to the water?

⁴ What man of you hauing an hundreth sheepe, if hee lose one of them, doeth not leaue ninetie and nine in the wildernesse, and goe after that which is lost, vntill he finde it? ⁵ And when he hath found it, he laieth it on his shoulders with ioye. ⁶ And when he commeth home, he calleth together his friendes and neighbours, saying vnto them, Reioyce with mee: for I haue founde my sheepe which was lost. ⁷ I say vnto you, that likewise ioy shall be in heauen for one sinner that conuerteth, more then for ninetie and nine iust men, which neede none amendment of life.

¹⁰ For the Sonne of man is come to seeke, and to saue that which was lost.

¹⁵ As the Father knoweth me, so know I the Father: and I lay downe my life for my sheepe. ¹⁶ Other sheepe I haue also, which are not of this folde: them also must I bring, and they shall heare my voyce: and there shalbe one sheepefolde, and one shepheard.

²⁶ But ye beleeue not: for ye are not of my sheepe, as I sayd vnto you. ²⁷ My sheepe heare my voyce, and I knowe them, and they follow me, ²⁸ And I giue vnto them eternall life, and they shall neuer perish, neither shall any plucke them out of mine hand.

¹ Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoeuer thou art that condemnest: for in that that thou condemnest another, thou condemnest thy selfe: for thou that condemnest, doest the same things.

²⁵ For ye were as sheepe going astray: but are nowe returned vnto the shepheard and Bishop of your soules.
