²⁸ Then Samson called vnto the Lord, and sayde, O Lord God, I pray thee, thinke vpon me: O God, I beseech thee, strengthen me at this time onely, that I may be at once auenged of the Philistims for my two eyes.

³¹ So let all thine enemies perish, O Lord: but they that loue him, shall be as the Sunne when he riseth in his might, and the lande had rest fourtie yeres.

¹⁵ He shall call vpon me, and I wil heare him: I will be with him in trouble: I will deliuer him, and glorifie him.

⁴ Then I called vpon the Name of the Lord, saying, I beseech thee, O Lord, deliuer my soule.

¹² And for thy mercy slay mine enemies, and destroy all them that oppresse my soule: for I am thy seruant.
