⁴⁷ Then answered them the Pharises, Are yee also deceiued?

²⁹ Thus sayth the King, Let not Hezekiah deceiue you: for he shall not be able to deliuer you out of mine hand.

³² Till I come, and bring you to a land like your owne land, euen a land of wheate and wine, a land of bread and vineyardes, a lande of oliues oyle, and hony, that ye may liue and not die: and obey not Hezekiah, for he deceiueth you, saying, The Lord will deliuer vs.

¹⁵ Nowe therefore let not Hezekiah deceiue you, nor seduce you after this sort, neither beleeue ye him: for none of all the gods of any nation or kingdome was able to deliuer his people out of mine hande and out of the hande of my fathers: howe much lesse shall your gods deliuer you out of mine hande?

⁶³ And said, Syr, we remember that that deceiuer saide, while he was yet aliue, Within three dayes I will rise.

¹² And much murmuring was there of him among the people. Some said, He is a good man: other sayd, Nay: but he deceiueth the people.

²⁷ Hee answered them, I haue tolde you already, and yee haue not heard it: wherefore would yee heare it againe? will yee also be his disciples? ²⁸ Then reuiled they him, and sayd, Be thou his disciple: we be Moses disciples. ²⁹ We know that God spake with Moses: but this man we know not from whence he is. ³⁰ The man answered, and sayde vnto them, Doutlesse, this is a marueilous thing, that ye know not whence he is, and yet he hath opened mine eyes. ³¹ Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him heareth he. ³² Since the world began, was it not heard, that any man opened the eyes of one that was borne blinde. ³³ If this man were not of God, hee could haue done nothing. ³⁴ They answered, and sayd vnto him, Thou art altogether borne in sinnes, and doest thou teach vs? so they cast him out.
