³² There is another that beareth witnesse of me, and I know that the witnesse, which he beareth of me, is true.

¹⁷ And loe, a voyce came from heauen, saying, This is my beloued Sonne, in whome I am well pleased.

⁵ While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloude shadowed them: and beholde, there came a voyce out of the cloude, saying, This is that my beloued Sonne, in whom I am well pleased: heare him.

¹¹ Then there was a voyce from heauen, saying, Thou art my beloued Sonne, in whome I am well pleased.

²² And the holy Ghost came downe in a bodily shape like a doue, vpon him, and there was a voyce from heauen, saying, Thou art my beloued Sonne: in thee I am well pleased.

³³ And I knewe him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, he saide vnto me, Vpon whom thou shalt see that Spirit come downe, and tary still on him, that is he which baptizeth with the holy Ghost.

³⁶ But I haue greater witnesse then the witnesse of Iohn: for the workes which the Father hath giuen me to finish, the same workes that I doe, beare witnesse of me, that the Father sent me. ³⁷ And the Father himselfe, which hath sent me, beareth witnesse of me. Ye haue not heard his voyce at any time, neither haue ye seene his shape.

¹⁷ And it is also written in your Lawe, that the testimonie of two men is true. ¹⁸ I am one that beare witnes of my selfe, and the Father that sent me, beareth witnes of me.

²⁸ Father, glorifie thy Name. Then came there a voyce from heauen, saying, I haue both glorified it, and will glorifie it againe. ²⁹ Then saide the people that stoode by, and heard, that it was a thunder: other said, An Angel spake to him. ³⁰ Iesus answered, and said, This voyce came not because of me, but for your sakes.

⁵⁰ And I knowe that his commandement is life euerlasting: the thinges therefore that I speake, I speake them so as the Father sayde vnto me.

⁶ This is that Iesus Christ that came by water and blood: not by water onely, but by water and blood: and it is that Spirit, that beareth witnesse: for that Spirit is trueth. ⁷ For there are three, which beare recorde in heauen, the Father, the Worde, and the holy Ghost: and these three are one. ⁸ And there are three, which beare record in the earth, the spirit, and the water and the blood: and these three agree in one. ⁹ If we receiue the witnesse of men, the witnesse of God is greater: for this is the witnesse of God, which he testified of his Sonne.
