²⁸ Marueile not at this: for the houre shall come, in the which all that are in the graues, shall heare his voyce.

²⁵ For I am sure, that my Redeemer liueth, and he shall stand the last on the earth. ²⁶ And though after my skin wormes destroy this bodie, yet shall I see God in my flesh.

¹⁹ Thy dead men shall liue: euen with my body shall they rise. Awake, and sing, ye that dwel in dust: for thy dewe is as the dew of herbes, and the earth shall cast out the dead.

¹ The hand of the Lord was vpon me, and caryed me out in ye spirit of ye Lord, and set me downe in ye mids of the field, which was full of bones. ² And he led me round about by them, and beholde, they were very many in the open fielde, and lo, they were very drie. ³ And he sayde vnto me, Sonne of man, can these bones liue? And I answered, O Lord God, thou knowest. ⁴ Againe he sayde vnto me, Prophecie vpon these bones and say vnto them, O ye dry bones, heare the word of the Lord. ⁵ Thus saith the Lord God vnto these bones, Behold, I wil cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall liue. ⁶ And I will lay sinewes vpon you, and make flesh growe vpon you, and couer you with skinne, and put breath in you, that ye may liue, and yee shall know that I am the Lord. ⁷ So I prophecied, as I was commanded: and as I prophecied, there was a noyse, and beholde, there was a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone. ⁸ And when I beheld, loe, the sinewes, and the flesh grewe vpon them, and aboue, the skinne couered them, but there was no breath in them. ⁹ Then sayd he vnto me, Prophecie vnto the winde: prophecie, sonne of man, and say to the winde, Thus sayth the Lord God, Come from the foure windes, O breath, and breathe vpon these slayne, that they may liue. ¹⁰ So I prophecied as hee had commanded me: and the breath came into them, and they liued, and stood vp vpon their feete, an exceeding great armie.

¹⁴ I wil redeeme them from the power of the graue: I will deliuer them from death: O death, I wil be thy death: O graue, I will be thy destruction: repentance is hid from mine eyes.

⁷ Marueile not that I said to thee, Yee must be borne againe.

²¹ Iesus saide vnto her, Woman, beleeue me, the houre commeth, when ye shall neither in this mountaine, nor at Hierusalem worship ye Father.

²⁰ For the Father loueth the Sonne, and sheweth him all things, whatsoeuer he himselfe doeth, and he will shewe him greater workes then these, that ye should marueile.

³⁹ And this is the Fathers will which hath sent mee, that of all which hee hath giuen mee, I should lose nothing, but shoulde raise it vp againe at the last day. ⁴⁰ And this is the will of him that sent mee, that euery man which seeth the Sonne, and beleeueth in him, should haue euerlasting life: and I will raise him vp at the last day.

²² For as in Adam all die, euen so in Christ shall all be made aliue,

⁴² So also is the resurrection of the dead. The bodie is sowen in corruption, and is raysed in incorruption. ⁴³ It is sowen in dishonour, and is raysed in glory: it is sowen in weakenesse, and is raysed in power. ⁴⁴ It is sowen a naturall body, and is raysed a spirituall body: there is a naturall body, and there is a spirituall body. ⁴⁵ As it is also written, The first man Adam was made a liuing soule: and the last Adam was made a quickening Spirit. ⁴⁶ Howbeit that was not first which is spirituall: but that which is naturall, and afterward that which is spirituall. ⁴⁷ The first man is of the earth, earthly: the second man is the Lord from heauen. ⁴⁸ As is the earthly, such are they that are earthly: and as is the heauenly, such are they also that are heauenly. ⁴⁹ And as we haue borne the image of the earthly, so shall we beare the image of the heauenly. ⁵⁰ This say I, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherite the kingdome of God, neither doeth corruption inherite incorruption. ⁵¹ Behold, I shewe you a secret thing, We shall not all sleepe, but we shall all be changed, ⁵² In a moment, in the twinckling of an eye at the last trumpet: for the trumpet shall blow, and the dead shalbe raysed vp incorruptible, and we shalbe changed. ⁵³ For this corruptible must put on incorruption: and this mortall must put on immortalitie. ⁵⁴ So when this corruptible hath put on incorruption, and this mortall hath put on immortalitie, then shalbe brought to passe the saying that is written, Death is swallowed vp into victorie.

²¹ Who shall change our vile bodie, that it may be fashioned like vnto his glorious body, according to the working, whereby hee is able euen to subdue all things vnto him selfe.

¹⁴ For if we beleeue that Iesus is dead, and is risen, euen so them which sleepe in Iesus, will God bring with him. ¹⁵ For this say we vnto you by the worde of the Lord, that we which liue, and are remayning in the comming of the Lord, shall not preuent them which sleepe. ¹⁶ For the Lord himselfe shall descende from heauen with a shoute, and with the voyce of the Archangel, and with the trumpet of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: ¹⁷ Then shall we which liue and remaine, be caught vp with them also in the clouds, to meete the Lord in the ayre: and so shall we euer be with the Lord.

¹² And I saw the dead, both great and small stand before God: and the bookes were opened, and another booke was opened, which is the booke of life, and the dead were iudged of those thinges, which were written in the bookes, according to their woorkes.
