¹⁵ And from the wicked their light shall be taken away, and the hie arme shalbe broken.

²¹ Againe ye Lord said vnto Moses, Stretch out thine hand toward heauen, that there may be vpon the lande of Egypt darkenesse, euen darkenesse that may be felt. ²² Then Moses stretched forth his hande towarde heauen, and there was a blacke darkenesse in all the land of Egypt three daies. ²³ No man saw an other, neither rose vp from ye place where he was for three dayes: but all the children of Israel had light where they dwelt.

¹⁸ So they came downe to him, but Elisha prayed vnto the Lord, and said, Smite this people, I pray thee, with blindnesse. And he smote them with blindnes, according to the worde of Elisha.

¹⁴ They meete with darkenesse in the day time, and grope at noone day, as in the night.

⁵ Yea, the light of the wicked shalbe quenched, and the sparke of his fire shall not shine.

¹⁸ They shall driue him out of the light vnto darkenesse, and chase him out of the world.

¹⁵ Breake thou the arme of the wicked and malicious: searche his wickednes, and thou shalt finde none.

¹⁷ For the armes of the wicked shall be broken: but the Lord vpholdeth the iust men.

¹⁹ The way of the wicked is as the darkenes: they knowe not wherein they shall fall.

²¹ Then he that is afflicted and famished, shall go to and from in it: and when he shalbe hungry, he shall euen freat himselfe, and curse his King and his gods, and shall looke vpward. ²² And when he shall looke to the earth, beholde trouble, and darkenes, vexation and anguish, and he is driuen to darkenes.

¹⁶ Giue glory to the Lord your God before he bring darknes, and or euer your feete stumble in the darke mountaines, and whiles you look for light, he turne it into the shadowe of death and make it as darkenesse.

²² Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I come against Pharaoh King of Egypt, and will breake his arme, that was strong, but is broken, and I will cause the sworde to fall out of his hande.

¹⁰ And sayde, O full of all subtiltie and all mischiefe, the childe of the deuill, and enemie of all righteousnesse, wilt thou not cease to peruert the straight waies of the Lord? ¹¹ Nowe therefore behold, the hand of the Lord is vpon thee, and thou shalt be blinde, and not see the sunne for a season. And immediately there fel on him a mist and a darknes; and he went about, seeking some to leade him by the hand.
