¹¹ Moab hath bene at rest from his youth, and he hath setled on his lees, and hath not bene powred from vessell to vessell, neither hath he gone into captiuitie: therefore his taste remained in him and his sent is not changed.

¹⁹ God shall heare and afflict them, euen hee that reigneth of olde, Selah. because they haue no changes, therefore they feare not God.

⁴ For there are no bandes in their death, but they are lustie and strong. ⁵ They are not in trouble as other men, neither are they plagued with other men. ⁶ Therefore pride is as a chayne vnto them, and crueltie couereth them as a garment. ⁷ Their eyes stande out for fatnesse: they haue more then heart can wish. ⁸ They are licentious, and speake wickedly of their oppression: they talke presumptuously.

⁴ Our soule is filled too full of ye mocking of the wealthy, and of the despitefulnes of the proude.

³² For ease slaieth the foolish, and the prosperitie of fooles destroyeth them.

⁶ We haue heard of the pride of Moab, (he is very proud) euen his pride, and his arrogancie, and his indignation, but his lies shall not be so.

³ The earth shalbe cleane emptied, and vtterly spoiled: for the Lord hath spoken this worde.

⁶ And in this mountaine shall the Lord of hostes make vnto all people a feast of fat thinges, euen a feast of fined wines, and of fat thinges full of marow, of wines fined and purified.

²⁹ We haue heard the pride of Moab (hee is exceeding proude) his stoutnesse, and his arrogancie, and his pride, and the hautinesse of his heart.

³⁴ Nebuchad-nezzar the King of Babel hath deuoured me, and destroyed me: he hath made me an emptie vessel: he swallowed mee vp like a dragon, and filled his belly with my delicates, and hath cast me out.

⁴⁹ Beholde, this was the iniquitie of thy sister Sodom, Pride, fulnesse of bread, and aboundance of idlenesse was in her, and in her daughters: neither did shee strengthen the hande of the poore and needie. ⁵⁰ But they were hautie, and committed abomination before mee: therefore I tooke them away, as pleased me.

² For the Lord hath turned away the glorie of Iaakob, as the glorie of Israel: for the emptiers haue emptied them out, and marred their vine branches.

¹⁰ She is emptie and voyde and waste, and the heart melteth, and the knees smite together, and sorowe is in all loynes, and the faces of the all gather blackenesse.

¹² And at that time will I searche Ierusalem with lightes, and visite the men that are frosen in their dregges, and say in their heartes, The Lord will neither doe good nor doe euill.

¹⁵ And am greatly angrie against the carelesse heathen: for I was angrie but a litle, and they helped forward the affliction.
