²⁴ For Christ is not entred into ye holy places that are made with hands, which are similitudes of ye true Sanctuarie: but is entred into very heauen, to appeare now in ye sight of God for vs,

¹² And thou shalt put the two stones vpon the shoulders of the Ephod, as stones of remebrance of the children of Israel: for Aaron shall beare their names before the Lord vpon his two shoulders for a remembrance.

²⁹ So Aaron shall beare the names of the children of Israel in the brest plate of iudgement vpon his heart, when he goeth into the holy place, for a remembrance continually before the Lord.

¹⁸ Thou art gone vp on high: thou hast led captiuitie captiue, and receiued giftes for men: yea, euen the rebellious hast thou led, that the Lord God might dwell there.

¹ And he shewed mee Iehoshua the hie Priest, standing before the Angel of the Lord, and Satan stoode at his right hand to resist him.

⁵⁸ We hearde him say, I will destroy this Temple made with hands, and within three daies I will builde another, made without hands.

¹⁹ So after ye Lord had spoken vnto them, he was receiued into heauen, and sate at the right hand of God.

⁵¹ And it came to passe, that as he blessed them, he departed from them, and was caried vp into heauen.

¹⁹ Iesus answered, and said vnto them, Destroy this Temple, and in three daies I will raise it vp againe. ²⁰ Then said the Iewes, Fourtie and sixe yeeres was this Temple a building, and wilt thou reare it vp in three daies? ²¹ But he spake of the temple of his bodie.

⁶² What then if yee should see that Sonne of man ascend vp where he was before?

²⁸ I am come out from the Father, and came into the worlde: againe I leaue the worlde, and goe to the Father.

⁹ And when he had spoken these things, while they behelde, he was taken vp: for a cloude tooke him vp out of their sight. ¹⁰ And while they looked stedfastly towarde heauen, as hee went, beholde, two men stoode by them in white apparell, ¹¹ Which also sayde, Yee men of Galile, why stande yee gasing into heauen? This Iesus which is taken vp from you into heauen, shall so come, as yee haue seene him goe into heauen.

²¹ Whome the heauen must containe vntill the time that all thinges be restored, which God had spoken by the mouth of all his holy Prophets since the world began.

³³ Who shall lay any thing to the charge of Gods chosen? it is God that iustifieth,

²⁰ Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his right hand in the heauenly places, ²¹ Farre aboue al principalitie, and power, and might, and domination, and euery Name, that is named, not in this world only, but also in that that is to come, ²² And hath made all things subiect vnder his feete, and hath giuen him ouer all things to be the head to the Church,

⁸ Wherfore he saith, Whe he asceded vp on hie, he led captiuity captiue, and gaue gifts vnto men. ⁹ (Nowe, in that hee ascended, what is it but that he had also descended first into the lowest partes of the earth? ¹⁰ Hee that descended, is euen the same that ascended, farre aboue all heauens, that hee might fill all things) ¹¹ Hee therefore gaue some to be Apostles, and some Prophets, and some Euangelists, and some Pastours, and Teachers,

² Set your affections on things which are aboue, and not on things which are on the earth.

³ Who being the brightnes of the glory, and the ingraued forme of his person, and bearing vp all things by his mightie worde, hath by himselfe purged our sinnes, and sitteth at the right hand of the Maiestie in the highest places,

²⁰ Whither the forerunner is for vs entred in, euen Iesus that is made an hie Priest for euer after the order of Melchi-sedec.

²⁵ Wherefore, hee is able also perfectly to saue them that come vnto God by him, seeing he euer liueth, to make intercession for them. ²⁶ For such an hie Priest it became vs to haue, which is holy, harmelesse, vndefiled, separate from sinners, and made hier then the heauens:

² And is a minister of the Sanctuarie, and of that true Tabernacle which the Lord pight, and not man.

⁵ Who serue vnto the paterne and shadowe of heauenly things, as Moses was warned by God, whe he was about to finish the Tabernacle. See, saide hee, that thou make all thinges according to the paterne, shewed to thee in the mount.

⁹ Which was a figure for that present time, wherein were offred gifts and sacrifices that could not make holy, concerning the conscience, him that did the seruice,

¹¹ But Christ being come an high Priest of good things to come, by a greater and a more perfect Tabernacle, not made with handes, that is, not of this building, ¹² Neither by the blood of goates and calues: but by his owne blood entred he in once vnto the holy place, and obteined eternall redemption for vs.

²³ It was then necessary, that the similitudes of heauenly things should be purified with such things: but the heauenly things them selues are purified with better sacrifices then are these.

² Looking vnto Iesus the authour and finisher of our faith, who for the ioy that was set before him, endured the crosse, and despised the shame, and is set at the right hand of the throne of God.

²² Which is at the right hand of God, gone into heauen, to whom the Angels, and Powers, and might are subiect.

¹ My little children, these things write I vnto you, that ye sinne not: and if any man sinne, wee haue an Aduocate with the Father, Iesus Christ, the Iust. ² And he is the reconciliation for our sinnes: and not for ours onely, but also for the sinnes of the whole world.

³ Then another Angel came and stoode before the altar hauing a golden censer, and much odours was giuen vnto him, that hee shoulde offer with the prayers of all Saintes vpon the golden altar, which is before the throne.
