³ For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the last it shall speake, and not lie: though it tarie, waite: for it shall surely come, and shall not stay.

⁴¹ And when the foure hundreth and thirtie yeeres were expired, euen the selfe same day departed all the hostes of the Lord out of the land of Egypt.

³³ While he yet talked with them, beholde, the messenger came downe vnto him, and saide, Behold, this euill commeth of the Lord: should I attende on the Lord any longer?

¹⁴ Hope in the Lord: be strong, and he shall comfort thine heart, and trust in the Lord.

¹³ Thou wilt arise and haue mercy vpon Zion: for the time to haue mercie thereon, for the appointed time is come.

⁵ I haue waited on the Lord: my soule hath waited, and I haue trusted in his worde. ⁶ My soule waiteth on the Lord more then the morning watch watcheth for the morning.

¹⁸ Yet therefore will the Lord waite, that he may haue mercy vpon you, and therefore wil he be exalted, that hee may haue compassion vpon you: for the Lord is the God of iudgement. Blessed are all they that waite for him.

¹² And when the seuentie yeres are accomplished, I will visite the King of Babel and that nation, saith the Lord, for their iniquities, euen the land of the Caldeans, and will make it a perpetuall desolation, ¹³ And I will bring vpon that lande all my wordes which I haue pronounced against it, euen all that is written in this booke, which Ieremiah hath prophecied against all nations. ¹⁴ For many nations, and great Kings shall euen serue themselues of them: thus will I recompense them according to their deedes, and according to the workes of their owne handes.

⁷ And all nations shall serue him, and his sonne, and his sonnes sonne vntill the very time of his lande come also: then many nations and great Kinges shall serue themselues of him.

²⁵ The Lord is good vnto them, that trust in him, and to the soule that seeketh him. ²⁶ It is good both to trust, and to waite for the saluation of the Lord.

²⁵ For I am the Lord: I wil speake, and that thing that I shall speake, shall come to passe: it shall be no more prolonged: for in your dayes, O rebellious house, will I saye the thing, and will performe it, sayeth the Lord God.

¹⁷ So he came where I stood: and when hee came, I was afraide, and fell vpon my face: but he sayd vnto me, Vnderstand, O sonne of man: for in the last time shalbe the vision.

¹⁹ And he sayde, Beholde, I will shewe thee what shalbe in the last wrath: for in the end of the time appointed it shall come.

²⁴ Seuentie weekes are determined vpon thy people and vpon thine holy citie, to finish the wickednes, and to seale vp the sinnes, and to reconcile the inquitie, and to bring in euerlasting righteousnesse, and to seale vp the vision and prophecie, and to anoynt the most Holy.

¹⁴ Nowe I am come to shewe thee what shall come to thy people in the latter dayes: for yet the vision is for many dayes.

²⁷ And both these Kings hearts shall be to do mischiefe, and they shall talke of deceite at one table: but it shall not auaile: for yet the ende shall be at the time appointed.

³⁵ And some of the of vnderstanding shall fall to trie them, and to purge, and to make them white, till the time be out: for there is a time appointed.

⁷ Therefore I will looke vnto the Lord: I will waite for God my Sauiour: my God will heare me.

²⁵ And behold, there was a man in Hierusalem, whose name was Simeon: this man was iust, and feared God, and waited for the consolation of Israel, and the holy Ghost was vpon him.

⁷ Now shall not God auenge his elect, which cry day and night vnto him, yea, though he suffer long for them? ⁸ I tell you he will auenge them quickly: but when the Sonne of man commeth, shall he finde faith on the earth?

⁷ And hee saide vnto them, It is not for you to know the times, or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his owne power,

²⁶ And hath made of one blood all mankinde, to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath assigned the seasons which were ordeined before, and the boundes of their habitation,

² But is vnder tutours and gouernours, vntil the time appointed of the Father.

⁶ And nowe ye knowe what withholdeth that he might be reueiled in his time. ⁷ For the mysterie of iniquitie doeth already worke: onely he which nowe withholdeth, shall let till he be taken out of the way. ⁸ And then shall that wicked man be reueiled, whome the Lord shall consume with the Spirit of his mouth, and shall abolish with the brightnes of his comming,

³⁶ For ye haue neede of patience, that after ye haue done the will of God, ye might receiue the promise. ³⁷ For yet a very litle while, and hee that shall come, will come, and will not tary.

⁷ Be patient therefore, brethren, vnto the comming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman wayteth for the precious fruite of the earth, and hath long patience for it, vntill he receiue the former, and the latter rayne. ⁸ Be ye also patient therefore and settle your hearts: for ye comming of the Lord draweth neere.

³ And through couetousnes shall they with fained words make marchandise of you, whose condemnation long since resteth not, and their destruction slumbreth not.
