¹⁵ But when it pleased God (which had separated me from my mothers wombe, and called me by his grace)

⁷ The Lord did not set his loue vpon you, nor chose you, because ye were more in number then any people: for ye were the fewest of all people: ⁸ But because the Lord loued you, and because hee would keepe the othe which hee had sworne vnto your fathers, the Lord hath brought you out by a mightie hand, and deliuered you out of the house of bondage from the hand of Pharaoh King of Egypt,

²² For the Lord will not forsake his people for his great Names sake: because it hath pleased the Lord to make you his people.

⁴ Yet as the Lord God of Israel chose me before all the house of my father, to be King ouer Israel for euer (for in Iudah woulde he chuse a prince, and of the house of Iudah is the house of my father, and among the sonnes of my father he delited in me to make me King ouer all Israel) ⁵ So of all my sonnes (for the Lord hath giuen me many sonnes) he hath euen chosen Salomon my sonne to sit vpon the throne of the kingdome of the Lord ouer Israel.

¹ Hear yee me, O yles, and hearken, yee people from farre. The Lord hath called me from the wombe, and made mention of my name from my mothers bellie.

⁵ And now sayeth the Lord, that formed me from the wombe to be his seruaunt, that I may bring Iaakob againe to him (though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I bee glorious in the eyes of the Lord: and my God shall be my strength)

⁵ Before I formed thee in the wombe, I knewe thee, and before thou camest out of the wombe, I sanctified thee, and ordeined thee to be a Prophet vnto the nations.

²⁶ It is so, O Father, because thy good pleasure was such.

¹⁵ For he shalbe great in the sight of the Lord, and shall neither drinke wine, nor strong drinke: and he shalbe filled with the holy Ghost, euen from his mothers wombe. ¹⁶ And many of the children of Israel shall he turne to their Lord God.

²¹ That same houre reioyced Iesus in the spirit, and said, I confesse vnto thee, Father, Lord of heauen and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and vnderstanding, and hast reueiled them to babes: euen so, Father, because it so pleased thee.

¹⁵ Then the Lord said vnto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessell vnto me, to beare my Name before the Gentiles, and Kings, and the children of Israel.

² Nowe as they ministred to the Lord, and fasted, the holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul, for the worke whereunto I haue called them.

¹⁴ And he sayd, The God of our fathers hath appointed thee, that thou shouldest knowe his wil, and shouldest see that Iust one, and shouldest heare the voyce of his mouth. ¹⁵ For thou shalt be his witnes vnto all men, of the things which thou hast seene and heard.

¹ Paul a seruant of Iesus Christ called to be an Apostle, put apart to preache the Gospel of God,

⁵ By whom we haue receiued grace and Apostleship (that obedience might be giuen vnto ye faith) for his Name among al ye Gentiles,

³⁰ Moreouer whom he predestinate, them also he called, and whom he called, them also he iustified, and whom he iustified, them he also glorified.

²⁴ Euen vs whome hee hath called, not of of the Iewes onely, but also of the Gentiles,

¹ Paul called to be an Apostle of Iesus Christ, through the will of God, and our brother Sosthenes,

⁹ God is faithfull, by whom ye are called vnto the fellowship of his Sonne Iesus Christ our Lord.

²⁴ But vnto them which are called, both of the Iewes and Grecians, we preach Christ, the power of God, and the wisedome of God.

¹⁰ But by the grace of God, I am that I am: and his grace which is in me, was not in vaine: but I laboured more aboundantly then they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which is with me.

⁶ I marueile that ye are so soone remoued away vnto another Gospel, from him that had called you in the grace of Christ,

⁵ Who hath predestinate vs, to be adopted through Iesus Christ in him selfe, according to the good pleasure of his will,

⁹ And hath opened vnto vs the mysterie of his will according to his good pleasure, which he had purposed in him,

¹¹ According to the eternall purpose, which he wrought in Christ Iesus our Lord:

¹³ But we ought to giue thankes alway to God for you, brethren beloued of the Lord, because that God hath from the beginning chosen you to saluation, through sanctification of the Spirit, and the faith of trueth, ¹⁴ Whereunto he called you by our Gospel, to obtaine the glory of our Lord Iesus Christ.

¹² Therefore I thanke him, which hath made me strong, that is, Christ Iesus our Lord: for he counted me faithfull, and put me in his seruice: ¹³ When before I was a blasphemer, and a persecuter, and an oppresser: but I was receiued to mercie: for I did it ignorantly through vnbeliefe. ¹⁴ But the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and loue, which is in Christ Iesus.

⁹ Who hath saued vs, and called vs with an holy calling, not according to our workes, but according to his owne purpose and grace, which was giuen to vs through Christ Iesus before the world was,

¹⁰ And the God of all grace, which hath called vs vnto his eternall glory by Christ Iesus, after that ye haue suffered a litle, make you perfite, confirme, strengthen and stablish you.
