⁴ Ye haue seene what I did vnto the Egyptians, and how I caryed you vpon eagles wings, and haue brought you vnto me.

¹ Then the Lord saide to Moses, Behold, I haue made thee Pharaohs God, and Aaron thy brother shall be thy Prophet. ² Thou shalt speake all that I commanded thee: and Aaron thy brother shall speake vnto Pharaoh, that he suffer the children of Israel to go out of his land. ³ But I will harden Pharaohs heart, and multiplie my miracles and my wonders in the lande of Egypt. ⁴ And Pharaoh shall not hearken vnto you, that I may lay mine hand vpon Egypt, and bring out myne armies, euen my people, the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt, by great iudgements. ⁵ Then the Egyptians shall knowe that I am the Lord, when I stretch foorth mine hand vpon Egypt, and bring out the children of Israel from among them. ⁶ So Moses and Aaron did as the Lord commanded them, euen so did they. ⁷ (Nowe Moses was foure score yeere olde, and Aaron foure score and three, when they spake vnto Pharaoh) ⁸ And the Lord had spoken vnto Moses and Aaron, saying, ⁹ If Pharaoh speake vnto you, saying, Shewe a miracle for you, then thou shalt say vnto Aaron, Take thy rod, and cast it before Pharaoh, and it shalbe turned into a serpent. ¹⁰ Then went Moses and Aaron vnto Pharaoh, and did euen as the Lord had commanded: and Aaron cast forth his rod before Pharaoh and before his seruants, and it was turned into a serpent. ¹¹ Then Pharaoh called also for the wise men and sorcerers: and those charmers also of Egypt did in like maner with their enchantmens, ¹² For they cast downe euery man his rod, and they were turned into serpents: but Aarons rodde deuoured their rods. ¹³ So Pharaohs heart was hardened, and hee hearkened not to them, as the Lord had saide. ¹⁴ The Lord then saide vnto Moses, Pharaohs heart is obstinate, hee refuseth to let the people goe.

⁹ But take heede to thy selfe, and keepe thy soule diligently, that thou forget not the thinges which thine eyes haue seene, and that they depart not out of thine heart, all the dayes of thy life: but teach them thy sonnes, and thy sonnes sonnes:

³³ Did euer people heare the voyce of God speaking out of the middes of a fire, as thou hast heard, and liued? ³⁴ Or hath God assayed to go and take him a nation from among nations, by tentations, by signes, and by wonders, and by warre, and by a mightie hand, and by a stretched out arme, and by great feare, according vnto all that the Lord your God did vnto you in Egypt before your eyes? ³⁵ Vnto thee it was shewed, that thou mightest knowe, that the Lord hee is God, and that there is none but he alone. ³⁶ Out of heauen hee made thee heare his voyce to instruct thee, and vpon earth he shewed thee his great fire, and thou heardest his voyce out of the middes of the fire.

² And Moses called all Israel, and said vnto them, Ye haue seene all that the Lord did before your eyes in the lande of Egypt vnto Pharaoh and vnto all his seruantes, and vnto all his lande,

¹¹ As an eagle stereth vp her nest, flootereth ouer her birdes, stretcheth out her wings, taketh them, and beareth them on her wings, ¹² So the Lord alone led him, and there was no strange god with him.

³¹ But they that waite vpon the Lord, shall renue their strength: they shall lift vp the wings as the eagles: they shall runne, and not be wearie, and they shall walke and not faint.

⁹ In all their troubles he was troubled, and the Angel of his presence saued them: in his loue and in his mercie he redeemed them, and he bare them and caried them alwayes continually.

¹⁴ But to the woman were giuen two wings of a great eagle, that she might flie into the wildernes, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and halfe a time, from the presence of the serpent.
