⁹ And it shalbe a signe vnto thee vpon thine hande, and for a remembrance betweene thine eyes, that the Lawe of the Lord may be in thy mouth: for by a strong hand the Lord brought thee out of Egypt.

¹ Then the Lord sayd vnto Moses, Nowe shalt thou see, what I will doe vnto Pharaoh: for by a strong hand shall he let them goe, and euen be constrained to driue them out of his land. ² Moreouer God spake vnto Moses, and sayd vnto him, I am the Lord, ³ And I appeared vnto Abraham, to Izhak, and to Iaakob by the Name of Almightie God: but by my Name Iehouah was I not knowen vnto the. ⁴ Furthermore as I made my couenant with them to giue them ye land of Canaan, the land of their pilgrimage, wherein they were strangers: ⁵ So I haue also hearde the groning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keepe in bondage, and haue remembred my couenant. ⁶ Wherefore say thou vnto the children of Israel, I am the Lord, and I will bring you out from the burdens of the Egyptians, and will deliuer you out of their bondage, and will redeeme you in a stretched out arme, and in great iudgements. ⁷ Also I will take you for my people, and will be your God: then ye shall knowe that I the Lord your God bring you out from the burdens of the Egyptians. ⁸ And I will bring you into the land which I sware that I woulde giue to Abraham, to Izhak, and to Iaakob, and I will giue it vnto you for a possession: I am the Lord. ⁹ So Moses told the children of Israel thus: but they hearkened not vnto Moses, for anguish of spirit and for cruel bondage. ¹⁰ Then the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying, ¹¹ Go speak to Pharaoh King of Egypt, that he let the children of Israel goe out of his land. ¹² But Moses spake before the Lord, saying, Beholde, the children of Israel hearken not vnto me, howe then shall Pharaoh heare mee, which am of vncircumcised lippes? ¹³ Then the Lord spake vnto Moses and vnto Aaron, and charged them to goe to the children of Israel and to Pharaoh King of Egypt, to bring the children of Israel out of the lande of Egypt. ¹⁴ These bee the heades of their fathers houses: the sonnes of Reuben the first borne of Israel are Hanoch and Pallu, Hezron and Carmi: these are ye families of Reuben. ¹⁵ Also the sonnes of Simeon: Iemuel and Iamin, and Ohad, and Iachin, and Zoar, and Shaul the sonne of a Canaanitish woman: these are the families of Simeon. ¹⁶ These also are the names of the sonnes of Leui in their generations: Gershon and Kohath and Merari (and the yeres of the life of Leui were an hundreth thirtie and seuen yere) ¹⁷ The sonnes of Gershon were Libni and Shimi by their families. ¹⁸ And the sonnes of Kohath, Amram and Izhar, and Hebron, and Vzziel. (and Kohath liued an hundreth thirtie and three yeere) ¹⁹ Also the sonnes of Merari were Mahali and Mushi: these are ye families of Leui by their kinreds. ²⁰ And Amram tooke Iochebed his fathers sister to his wife, and shee bare him Aaron and Moses (and Amram liued an hundreth thirtie and seuen yeere) ²¹ Also the sonnes of Izhar: Korah, and Nepheg, and Zichri. ²² And the sonnes of Vzziel: Mishael, and Elzaphan, and Sithri. ²³ And Aaron tooke Elisheba daughter of Amminadab, sister of Nahashon to his wife, which bare him Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar. ²⁴ Also the sonnes of Korah: Assir, and Elkanah, and Abiasaph: these are the families of the Korhites. ²⁵ And Eleazar Aarons sonne tooke him one of the daughters of Putiel to his wife, which bare him Phinehas: these are the principall fathers of the Leuites throughout their families. ²⁶ These are Aaron and Moses to whom the Lord said, Bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt, according to their armies. ²⁷ These are that Moses and Aaron, which spake to Pharaoh King of Egypt, that they might bring the children of Israel out of Egypt. ²⁸ And at that time when the Lord spake vnto Moses in the land of Egypt, ²⁹ When the Lord, I say, spake vnto Moses, saying, I am the Lord, speake thou vnto Pharaoh the King of Egypt all that I say vnto thee, ³⁰ Then Moses said before the Lord, Behold, I am of vncircumcised lips, and how shall Pharaoh heare me?

¹⁴ And this day shalbe vnto you a remembrance: and ye shall keepe it an holie feast vnto the Lord, throughout your generations: yee shall keepe it holie by an ordinance for euer.

³ Then Moses sayd vnto the people, Remember this day in the which ye came out of Egypt, out of the house of bondage: for by a mightie hande the Lord brought you out from thence: therefore no leauened bread shall bee eaten.

¹⁶ And it shalbe as a token vpon thine hand, and as frontlets betweene thine eyes, that the Lord brought vs out of Egypt by a mightie hande.

³⁹ And ye shall haue the fringes, that when ye looke vpon them, ye may remember all the commandemets of the Lord, and do them: and that ye seeke not after your own heart, nor after your owne eyes, after the which ye go a whoring;

⁶ And these wordes which I commaund thee this day, shalbe in thine heart.

⁸ And thou shalt binde them for a signe vpon thine hand, and they shalbe as frontlets betweene thine eyes.

¹⁸ Therefore shall ye lay vp these my words in your heart and in your soule, and binde them for a signe vpon your hand, that they may be as a frontlet betweene your eyes, ¹⁹ And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them, whe thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest downe, and when thou risest vp.

¹⁴ But the word is very neere vnto thee: euen in thy mouth and in thine heart, for to do it.

⁸ Let not this booke of the Law depart out of thy mouth, but meditate therin day and night, that thou mayest obserue and doe according to all that is written therein: for then shalt thou make thy way prosperous, and then shalt thou haue good successe. ⁹ Haue not I commanded thee, saying, Be strong and of a good courage, feare not, nor be discouraged? for I the Lord thy God will be with thee, whithersoeuer thou goest. ¹⁰ Now these are thy seruants and thy people, whome thou hast redeemed by thy great power, and by thy mightie hand.

¹³ Thou hast a mightie arme: strong is thine hand, and high is thy right hand.

⁹ For they shalbe a comely ornament vnto thine head, and as chaines for thy necke.

²¹ My sonne, let not these things depart from thine eyes, but obserue wisdome, and counsell.

²⁰ My sonne, keepe thy fathers commandement, and forsake not thy mothers instruction. ²¹ Binde them alway vpon thine heart, and tye them about thy necke. ²² It shall leade thee, when thou walkest: it shall watch for thee, when thou sleepest, and when thou wakest, it shall talke with thee. ²³ For the commandement is a lanterne, and instruction a light: and corrections for instruction are the way of life,

²³ Till a dart strike through his liuer, as a bird hasteth to the snare, not knowing that he is in danger.

⁶ Set mee as a seale on thine heart, and as a signet vpon thine arme: for loue is strong as death: ielousie is cruel as the graue: the coles thereof are fierie coles, and a vehement flame.

¹ In that day the Lord with his sore and great and mightie sword shall visite Liuiathan, that pearcing serpent, euen Liuiathan, that crooked serpent, and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea.

¹⁰ Beholde, the Lord God will come with power, and his arme shall rule for him: beholde, his rewarde is with him, and his worke before him,

¹⁶ Behold, I haue grauen thee vpon the palme of mine hands: thy walles are euer in my sight.

⁹ Rise vp, rise vp, and put on strength, O arme of the Lord: rise vp as in the olde time in the generations of the worlde. Art not thou the same, that hath cutte Rahab, and wounded the dragon?

²¹ And I will make this my couenant with them, saith the Lord. My Spirit that is vpon thee, and my wordes, which I haue put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seede, nor out of the mouth of the seede of thy seede, saith the Lord, from hencefoorth euen for euer.

²⁴ As I liue, saith the Lord, though Coniah the sonne of Iehoiakim King of Iudah, were the signet of my right hand, yet would I plucke thee thence.

¹¹ And the Lord shall vtter his voyce before his hoste: for his hoste is very great: for he is strog that doeth his word: for the day of the Lord is great and very terrible, and who can abide it?

⁵ All their workes they doe for to be seene of men: for they make their phylacteries broad, and make long the frindges of their garments,

⁸ But what sayth it? The worde is neere thee, euen in thy mouth, and in thine heart. This is the worde of faith which we preach.

⁸ Therefore shall her plagues come at one day, death, and sorowe, and famine, and she shalbe burnt with fire: for that God which condemneth her, is a strong Lord.
