²⁶ Surely to a man that is good in his sight, God giueth wisdome, and knowledge, and ioy: but to the sinner he giueth paine, to gather, and to heape to giue to him that is good before God: this is also vanitie, and vexation of the spirit.

¹ And the Lord said vnto Noah, Enter thou and all thine house into the Arke: for thee haue I seene righteous before me in this age.

²⁰ And thus did Hezekiah throughout al Iudah, and did well, and vprightly, and truely before the Lord his God. ²¹ And in all the workes that he began for the seruice of the house of God, both in the Law and in the commandements, to seeke his God, he did it with all his heart, and prospered.

¹⁶ Though he shoulde heape vp siluer as the dust, and prepare rayment as the clay, ¹⁷ He may prepare it, but the iust shall put it on, and the innocent shall deuide the siluer.

⁸ Surely there is a spirite in man, but the inspiration of the Almightie giueth vnderstanding.

¹³ Blessed is the man that findeth wisedome, and the man that getteth vnderstanding. ¹⁴ For the marchandise thereof is better then the marchandise of siluer, and the gaine thereof is better then golde. ¹⁵ It is more precious then pearles: and all things that thou canst desire, are not to be compared vnto her. ¹⁶ Length of dayes is in her right hand, and in her left hand riches and glory. ¹⁷ Her wayes are wayes of pleasure, and all her pathes prosperitie. ¹⁸ She is a tree of life to them that lay holde on her, and blessed is he that retaineth her.

²² The good man shall giue inheritance vnto his childrens children: and the riches of the sinner is layde vp for the iust.

⁸ He that increaseth his riches by vsurie and interest, gathereth them for him that will be mercifull vnto the poore.

¹⁴ I haue considered all the workes that are done vnder the sunne, and beholde, all is vanitie, and vexation of the spirit.

¹⁰ Say ye, Surely it shalbe well with the iust: for they shall eate the fruite of their workes. ¹¹ Woe be to the wicked, it shalbe euill with him: for the reward of his handes shalbe giuen him.

⁶ Both were iust before God, and walked in all the commandements and ordinances of the Lord, without reproofe.

²⁴ Hitherto haue ye asked nothing in my Name: aske, and ye shall receiue, that your ioye may be full.

¹⁷ For the kingdome of God, is not meate nor drinke, but righteousnes, and peace, and ioye in the holy Ghost. ¹⁸ For whosoeuer in these things serueth Christ, is acceptable vnto God, and is approoued of men.

³⁰ But ye are of him in Christ Iesus, who of God is made vnto vs wisedome and righteousnesse, and sanctification, and redemption, ³¹ That, according as it is written, Hee that reioyceth, let him reioyce in the Lord.

²² But the fruite of the Spirit is loue, ioye, peace, long suffering, gentlenes, goodnes, fayth, ²³ Meekenesse, temperancie: against such there is no lawe.

⁹ For this cause wee also, since the day wee heard of it, cease not to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be fulfilled with knowledge of his will in all wisdome, and spirituall vnderstanding, ¹⁰ That ye might walke worthy of the Lord, and please him in all things, being fruitefull in all good workes, and increasing in the knowledge of God, ¹¹ Strengthened with all might through his glorious power, vnto all patience, and long suffering with ioyfulnesse, ¹² Giuing thankes vnto the Father, which hath made vs meete to be partakers of the inheritance of the Saintes in light,

¹⁶ Let the worde of Christ dwell in you plenteously in all wisdome, teaching and admonishing your owne selues, in Psalmes, and hymnes, and spirituall songs, singing with a grace in your hearts to the Lord. ¹⁷ And whatsoeuer ye shall doe, in worde or deede, doe all in the Name of the Lord Iesus, giuing thankes to God euen the Father by him.

¹⁷ But the wisedome that is from aboue, is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, easie to be intreated, full of mercie and good fruites, without iudging, and without hipocrisie.
