⁶ The Lord our God spake vnto vs in Horeb, saying, Ye haue dwelt long ynough in this mount,

¹ When Moses kept the sheepe of Iethro his father in lawe, Priest of Midian, and droue the flocke to the backe side of the desert, and came to the Mountaine of God, Horeb,

⁶ Behold, I will stand there before thee vpon the rocke in Horeb, and thou shalt smite on the rocke, and water shall come out of it, that the people may drinke. And Moses did so in the sight of the Elders of Israel.

¹ In the third moneth, after the children of Israel were gone out of the lande of Egypt, the same day came they into the wildernes of Sinai. ² For they departed from Rephidim, and came to the desart of Sinai, and camped in the wildernesse: euen there Israel camped before the mount.

¹¹ And in the seconde yeere, in the seconde moneth, and in the twentieth day of the moneth the cloude was taken vp from the Tabernacle of the Testimonie. ¹² And ye children of Israel departed on their iourneys out of the desart of Sinai, and the cloud rested in the wildernesse of Paran. ¹³ So they first tooke their iourney at the comandement of the Lord, by ye hand of Moses.
