⁹ Also that ye may prolong your daies in the land, which the Lord sware vnto your fathers, to giue vnto them and to their seede, euen a lande that floweth with milke and honie.

⁸ Therefore I am come downe to deliuer them out of the hande of the Egyptians, and to bring them out of that lande into a good lande and a large, into a lande that floweth with milke and honie, euen into the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hiuites, and the Iebusites.

⁴⁰ Thou shalt keepe therefore his ordinances, and his commandements which I commaund thee this day, that it may goe well with thee, and with thy children after thee, and that thou mayst prolong thy dayes vpon the earth, which the Lord thy God giueth thee for euer.

¹⁶ Honour thy father and thy mother, as the Lord thy God hath comanded thee, that thy dayes may be prolonged, and that it may go well with thee vpon the land, which the Lord thy God giueth thee.

² That thou mightest feare the Lord thy God, and keepe all his ordinances, and his commandements which I commaund thee, thou, and thy sonne, and thy sonnes sonne all the dayes of thy life, euen that thy dayes may be prolonged.

¹⁸ And thou shalt doe that which is right and good in the sight of the Lord: that thou mayest prosper, and that thou mayest go in, and possesse that good land which the Lord sware vnto thy fathers,

⁵ For thou entrest not to inherite their lande for thy righteousnesse, or for thy vpright heart: but for the wickednesse of those nations, the Lord thy God doth cast them out before thee, and that he might performe the worde which the Lord thy God sware vnto thy fathers, Abraham, Izhak, and Iacob.

¹² What man is he, that desireth life, and loueth long dayes for to see good? ¹³ Keepe thy tongue from euill, and thy lips, that they speake no guile. ¹⁴ Eschewe euill and doe good: seeke peace and follow after it. ¹⁵ The eyes of the Lord are vpon the righteous, and his eares are open vnto their crie. ¹⁶ But the face of the Lord is against them that doe euill, to cut off their remembrance from the earth. ¹⁷ The righteous crie, and the Lord heareth them, and deliuereth them out of all their troubles. ¹⁸ The Lord is neere vnto them that are of a contrite heart, and will saue such as be afflicted in Spirite. ¹⁹ Great are the troubles of the righteous: but the Lord deliuereth him out of them all. ²⁰ He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken. ²¹ But malice shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous, shall perish. ²² The Lord redeemeth the soules of his seruants: and none, that trust in him, shall perish.

² For they shall increase the length of thy dayes and the yeeres of life, and thy prosperitie.

¹⁶ Length of dayes is in her right hand, and in her left hand riches and glory.

¹¹ For thy dayes shalbe multiplied by me, and the yeeres of thy life shalbe augmented.

²⁷ The feare of the Lord increaseth the dayes: but the yeeres of the wicked shalbe diminished.

⁶ In the day that I lift vp mine hand vnto them to bring them forth of the land of Egypt, into a land that I had prouided for them, flowing with milke and hony which is pleasant among all lands,
