²² Hee discouereth the deepe and secrete things: he knoweth what is in darkenes, and the light dwelleth with him.

⁵ And Ioseph dreamed a dreame, and told his brethren, who hated him so much the more. ⁶ For he saide vnto them, Heare, I pray you, this dreame which I haue dreamed. ⁷ Beholde nowe, wee were binding sheues in the middes of the field: and loe, my shefe arose and also stoode vpright, and behold, your sheues compassed rounde about, and did reuerence to my shefe. ⁸ Then his brethren saide to him, What, shalt thou reigne ouer vs, and rule vs? or shalt thou haue altogether dominion ouer vs? And they hated him so much the more, for his dreames, and for his wordes. ⁹ Againe hee dreamed an other dreame, and tolde it his brethren, and saide, Behold, I haue had one dreame more, and beholde, the Sunne and the Moone and eleuen starres did reuerence to me.

¹⁶ And Ioseph answered Pharaoh, saying, Without me God shall answere for the wealth of Pharaoh.

²⁵ Then Ioseph answered Pharaoh, Both Pharaohs dreames are one. God hath shewed Pharaoh, what he is about to doe. ²⁶ The seuen good kine are seuen yeres, and the seuen good eares are seuen yeeres: this is one dreame. ²⁷ Likewise the seuen thinne and euilfauoured kine, that came out after them, are seuen yeeres: and the seuen emptie eares blasted with the East winde, are seuen yeeres of famine. ²⁸ This is the thing which I haue saide vnto Pharaoh, that God hath shewed vnto Pharaoh, what he is about to doe.

²² He discouereth the deepe places from their darkenesse, and bringeth foorth the shadowe of death to light.

⁶ The graue is naked before him, and there is no couering for destruction.

¹⁴ The secrete of the Lord is reueiled to them, that feare him: and his couenant to giue them vnderstanding.

⁹ For with thee is the well of life, and in thy light shall we see light.

² Which couereth himselfe with light as with a garment, and spreadeth the heauens like a curtaine.

¹¹ If I say, Yet the darkenes shall hide me, euen the night shalbe light about me. ¹² Yea, the darkenes hideth not from thee: but the night shineth as the day: the darkenes and light are both alike.

²² Let them bring foorth, and let them tell vs what shall come: let them shew the former things what they be, that wee may consider them, and knowe the latter ende of them: either declare vs things for to come.

²⁶ Who hath declared from the beginning, that we may knowe? or before time, that we may say, He is righteous? Surely there is none that sheweth: surely there is none that declareth: surely there is none that heareth your wordes.

⁹ Beholde, the former thinges are come to passe, and newe things doe I declare: before they come foorth, I tell you of them.

⁷ I forme the light and create darkenes: I make peace and create euill: I the Lord doe all these things.

²⁴ Can any hide him selfe in secrete places, that I shall not see him, sayth the Lord? Do not I fill heauen and earth, saieth the Lord?

¹¹ For it is a rare thing that the King requireth, and there is none other that can declare it before the King, except the gods whose dwelling is not with flesh.

²⁸ But there is a God in heauen that reueileth secrets, and sheweth the King Nebuchad-nezzar what shall bee in the latter dayes. Thy dreame, and the things which thou hast seene in thine heade vpon thy bed, is this. ²⁹ O King, when thou wast in thy bedde, thoughts came into thy mind, what should come to passe hereafter, and he that reueyleth secretes, telleth thee, what shall come.

¹¹ There is a man in thy kingdome, in whom is the spirit of the holy gods, and in the dayes of thy father light and vnderstanding and wisdome like the wisdome of the gods, was found in him: whom the King Nebuchad-nezzar thy father, the King, I say, thy father, made chiefe of the enchanters, astrologians, Caldeans, and soothsayers,

¹⁴ Now I haue heard of thee, that the spirit of the holy gods is in thee, and that light and vnderstanding and excellent wisdome is found in thee.

¹³ Therefore speake I to them in parables, because they seeing, doe not see: and hearing, they heare not, neither vnderstand.

² For there is nothing couered, that shall not bee reueiled: neither hidde, that shall not be knowen. ³ Wherefore whatsoeuer yee haue spoken in darkenesse, it shall be heard in the light: and that which ye haue spoken in the eare, in secret places, shall be preached on the houses.

⁹ This was that true light, which lighteth euery man that commeth into the world.

¹² Then spake Iesus againe vnto them, saying, I am that light of the worlde: hee that followeth mee, shall not walke in darkenes, but shall haue that light of life.

⁴⁵ And he that seeth me, seeth him that sent me. ⁴⁶ I am come a light into the world, that whosoeuer beleeueth in me, should not abide in darkenes.

¹⁷ He said vnto him the third time, Simon the sonne of Iona, louest thou me? Peter was sorie because he said to him the third time, Louest thou me? and said vnto him, Lord, thou knowest all things: thou knowest that I loue thee. Iesus saide vnto him, Feede my sheepe.

²⁵ To him nowe that is of power to establish you according to my Gospel, and preaching of Iesus Christ, by the reuelation of the mysterie, which was kept secrete since the worlde began: ²⁶ (But nowe is opened, and published among all nations by the Scriptures of the Prophetes, at the commandement of the euerlasting God for the obedience of faith)

⁹ But as it is written, The thinges which eye hath not seene, neither eare hath heard, neither came into mans heart, are, which God hath prepared for them that loue him. ¹⁰ But God hath reueiled them vnto vs by his Spirit: for the spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deepe things of God. ¹¹ For what man knoweth the things of a man, saue the spirite of a man, which is in him? euen so the things of God knoweth no man, but the spirit of God.

⁵ Therefore iudge nothing before the time, vntill the Lord come, who will lighten things that are hid in darkenesse, and make the counsels of the hearts manifest: and then shall euery man haue praise of God.

⁵ Which in other ages was not opened vnto the sonnes of men, as it is nowe reueiled vnto his holy Apostles and Prophets by the Spirit,

¹⁶ Who onely hath immortalitie, and dwelleth in the light that none can attaine vnto, whom neuer man sawe, neither can see, vnto whome bee honour and power euerlasting, Amen.

¹³ Neither is there any creature, which is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and open vnto his eyes, with whome we haue to doe.

¹⁷ Euery good giuing, and euery perfect gift is from aboue, and commeth downe from the Father of lights, with whome is no variablenes, neither shadow of turning.

⁵ This then is the message which wee haue heard of him, and declare vnto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkenes.
