²⁸ Whome we preache, admonishing euery man, and teaching euery man in all wisdome, that we may present euery man perfect in Christ Iesus,

⁵ Behold, I haue taught you ordinances, and lawes, as the Lord my God commanded me, that ye should doe euen so within the land whither ye goe to possesse it.

⁵ O ye foolish men, vnderstand wisedome, and ye, O fooles, be wise in heart.

⁹ And the more wise the Preacher was, the more he taught the people knowledge, and caused them to heare, and searched foorth, and prepared many parables.

¹⁵ And I will giue you pastours according to mine heart, which shall feede you with knowledge and vnderstanding.

¹⁰ Vnto whome shall I speake, and admonish that they may heare? beholde, their eares are vncircumcised, and they cannot hearken: beholde, the worde of the Lord is vnto them as a reproche: they haue no delite in it.

¹⁷ Sonne of man, I haue made thee a watchman vnto the house of Israel: therefore heare the worde at my mouth, and giue them warning from me. ¹⁸ When I shall say vnto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die, and thou giuest not him warning, nor speakest to admonish the wicked of his wicked way, that he may liue, the same wicked man shall die in his iniquitie: but his blood will I require at thine hande. ¹⁹ Yet if thou warne the wicked, and he turne not from his wickednesse, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquitie, but thou hast deliuered thy soule. ²⁰ Likewise if a righteous man turne from his righteousnesse, and commit iniquitie, I will lay a stumbling blocke before him, and he shall die, because thou hast not giuen him warning: he shall die in his sinne, and his righteous deedes, which he hath done, shall not be remembred: but his blood will I require at thine hand. ²¹ Neuerthelesse, if thou admonish that righteous man, that the righteous sinne not, and that he doeth not sinne, he shall liue because he is admonished: also thou hast deliuered thy soule.

¹⁰ Beholde, the day, beholde, it is come: the morning is gone forth, the rod florisheth: pride hath budded.

⁴ Then hee that heareth the sounde of the trumpet, and will not bee warned, if the sworde come, and take him away, his blood shall be vpon his owne head. ⁵ For he heard the sound of the trumpet, and woulde not bee admonished: therefore his blood shall be vpon him: but he that receiueth warning, shall saue his life. ⁶ But if the watchman see the sworde come, and blowe not the trumpet, and the people be not warned: if the sworde come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away for his iniquitie, but his blood will I require at the watchmans hande. ⁷ So thou, O sonne of man, I haue made thee a watchman vnto the house of Israel: therefore thou shalt heare the woorde at my mouth, and admonish them from me. ⁸ When I shall say vnto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt die the death, if thou doest not speake, and admonish the wicked of his way, that wicked man shall die for his iniquitie, but his blood will I require at thine hand. ⁹ Neuerthelesse, If thou warne the wicked of his way, to turne from it, if he doe not turne from his way, he shall die for his iniquitie, but thou hast deliuered thy soule.

⁷ Now when he sawe many of the Pharises, and of the Sadduces come to his baptisme, he said vnto them, O generations of vipers, who hath forewarned you to flee from the anger to come?

⁴⁸ Ye shall therefore be perfit, as your Father which is in heauen, is perfite.

²⁰ Teaching them to obserue all things, whatsoeuer I haue commanded you: and lo, I am with you alway, vntill the ende of the worlde, Amen.

³⁴ Then Iesus went out, and sawe a great multitude, and had compassion on them, because they were like sheepe which had no shepheard: and he began to teach them many things.

¹⁵ For I will giue you a mouth and wisdome, where against all your aduersaries shall not be able to speake, nor resist.

²⁰ And he shall sende Iesus Christ, which before was preached vnto you,

⁴² And dayly in the Temple, and from house to house they ceased not to teach, and preach Iesus Christ.

⁵ Then came Philip into the citie of Samaria, and preached Christ vnto them.

³⁸ Be it knowen vnto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached vnto you the forgiuenesse of sinnes.

³ Opening, and alleadging that Christ must haue suffered, and risen againe from the dead: and this is Iesus Christ, whom, said he, I preach to you.

¹⁸ Then certaine Philosophers of the Epicures, and of the Stoickes, disputed with him, and some sayde, What will this babler say? Others sayde, He seemeth to be a setter forth of straunge gods (because hee preached vnto them Iesus, and the resurrection.)

²⁷ For I haue kept nothing backe, but haue shewed you all the counsell of God. ²⁸ Take heede therefore vnto your selues, and to all the flocke, whereof the holy Ghost hath made you Ouerseers, to feede the Church of God, which hee hath purchased with that his owne blood.

³¹ Therefore watche, and remember, that by the space of three yeres I ceased not to warne euery one, both night and day with teares.

²⁵ To him nowe that is of power to establish you according to my Gospel, and preaching of Iesus Christ, by the reuelation of the mysterie, which was kept secrete since the worlde began:

²³ But wee preach Christ crucified: vnto the Iewes, euen a stumbling blocke, and vnto the Grecians, foolishnesse:

³⁰ But ye are of him in Christ Iesus, who of God is made vnto vs wisedome and righteousnesse, and sanctification, and redemption,

⁶ And we speake wisedome among them that are perfect: not the wisedome of this world, neither of the princes of this world, which come to nought.

¹⁵ But hee that is spirituall, discerneth all things: yet he himselfe is iudged of no man.

¹⁴ I write not these things to shame you, but as my beloued children I admonish you.

⁸ For to one is giuen by the Spirit the word of wisdome: and to an other the word of knowledge, by the same Spirit:

¹² Now if it be preached, that Christ is risen from the dead, how say some among you, that there is no resurrection of the dead?

⁵ For we preach not our selues, but Christ Iesus the Lord, and our selues your seruaunts for Iesus sake.

¹⁴ For we stretche not our selues beyonde our measure, as though wee had not attained vnto you: for euen to you also haue we come in preaching the Gospel of Christ,

² For I am ielous ouer you, with godly ielousie: for I haue prepared you for one husband, to present you as a pure virgine to Christ:

⁸ Euen vnto me the least of all Saints is this grace giuen, that I should preach among the Gentiles the vnsearchable riches of Christ,

¹¹ Hee therefore gaue some to be Apostles, and some Prophets, and some Euangelists, and some Pastours, and Teachers, ¹² For the repairing of the Saintes, for the woorke of the ministerie, and for the edification of the bodie of Christ, ¹³ Till we all meete together (in the vnitie of faith and that acknowledging of the Sonne of God) vnto a perfite man, and vnto the measure of the age of the fulnesse of Christ,

²⁷ That hee might make it vnto him selfe a glorious Church, not hauing spot or wrinkle, or any such thing: but that it shoulde bee holy and without blame.

¹⁵ Some preache. Christ euen through enuie and strife, and some also of good will. ¹⁶ The one part preacheth Christ of contention and not purely, supposing to adde more affliction to my bandes. ¹⁷ But the others of loue, knowing that I am set for the defence of the Gospell. ¹⁸ What then? yet Christ is preached all maner wayes, whether it be vnder a pretence, or syncerely: and I therein ioye: yea and will ioye.

²² In that body of his flesh through death, to make you holy, and vnblameable and without fault in his sight,

¹⁰ And yee are complete in him, which is the head of all principalitie and power.

¹⁶ Let the worde of Christ dwell in you plenteously in all wisdome, teaching and admonishing your owne selues, in Psalmes, and hymnes, and spirituall songs, singing with a grace in your hearts to the Lord.

⁶ That no man oppresse or defraude his brother in any matter: for the Lord is auenger of all such thinges, as we also haue tolde you before time, and testified.

¹² Nowe we beseeche you, brethren, that ye acknowledge them, which labour among you, and are ouer you in the Lord, and admonish you, ¹³ That yee haue them in singular loue for their workes sake. Bee at peace among your selues. ¹⁴ We desire you, brethren, admonish them that are out of order: comfort ye feeble minded: beare with the weake: be pacient toward all men.

² A Bishop therefore must be vnreproueable, the husband of one wife, watching, temperate, modest, harberous, apt to teache,

¹⁶ And without controuersie, great is the mysterie of godlinesse, which is, God is manifested in the flesh, iustified in the Spirit, seene of Angels, preached vnto the Gentiles, beleeued on in the world, and receiued vp in glorie.

²⁴ But the seruant of ye Lord must not striue, but must be gentle toward all men, apt to teache, suffering the euill, ²⁵ Instructing them with meekenesse that are contrary minded, prouing if God at any time will giue them repentance, that they may acknowledge the trueth,

¹⁴ For with one offering hath he consecrated for euer them that are sanctified.

²¹ Make you perfect in all good workes, to doe his will, working in you that which is pleasant in his sight through Iesus Christ, to whom be praise for euer and euer, Amen.

¹⁵ And suppose that the long suffering of our Lord is saluation, euen as our beloued brother Paul according to the wisedome giuen vnto him wrote to you,
