²⁵ And as he disputed of righteousnes and temperance, and of the iudgement to come, Felix trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this time, and when I haue conuenient time, I will call for thee.

⁷ Nowe therefore stand still, that I may reason with you before the Lord according to all the righteousnesse of the Lord, which he shewed to you and to your fathers.

³ The God of Israel spake to me, ye strength of Israel saide, Thou shalt beare rule ouer men, being iust, and ruling in the feare of God.

²⁷ Nowe when Ahab heard those wordes, he rent his clothes, and put sackcloth vpon him and fasted, and lay in sackecloth and went softely.

²⁶ And the King of Israel sayd, Take Michaiah, and cary him vnto Amon the gouernour of the citie, and vnto Ioash the Kings sonne, ²⁷ And say, Thus saith the King, Put this man in the prison house, and feede him with bread of affliction, and with water of affliction, vntill I returne in peace.

¹⁹ But because thine heart did melt, and thou hast humbled thy selfe before the Lord, when thou heardest what I spake against this place, and against the inhabitants of the same, to wit, that it should be destroyed and accursed, and hast rent thy clothes, and wept before me, I haue also heard it, saith the Lord.

³ Now therfore let vs make a couenant with our God, to put away all the wiues (and such as are borne of them) according to the counsell of the Lord, and of those that feare the commandements of our God, and let it be done according to the Lawe.

⁹ Then all the men of Iudah and Beniamin assembled theselues vnto Ierusalem within three dayes, which was the twentieth day of the ninth moneth, and all the people sate in the streete of the house of God, trembling for this matter, and for the raine.

¹⁴ I put on iustice, and it couered me: my iudgement was as a robe, and a crowne.

⁷ For the righteous Lord loueth righteousnes: his countenance doeth beholde the iust.

⁷ Thou louest righteousnes, and hatest wickednesse, because God, euen thy God hath anoynted thee with the oyle of gladnes aboue thy fellowes.

³ Our God shall come and shall not keepe silence: a fire shall deuoure before him, and a mightie tempest shall be mooued round about him. ⁴ Hee shall call the heauen aboue, and the earth to iudge his people.

¹ To him that excelleth. Destroy not. A Psalme of David on Michtam. Is it true? O Congregation, speake ye iustly? O sonnes of men, iudge ye vprightly? ² Yea, rather ye imagine mischiefe in your heart: your hands execute crueltie vpon the earth.

² Then shall he iudge thy people in righteousnesse, and thy poore with equitie.

¹ A Psalme committed to Aspah. God standeth in the assemblie of gods: hee iudgeth among gods. ² How long wil ye iudge vniustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah. ³ Doe right to the poore and fatherlesse: doe iustice to the poore and needie. ⁴ Deliuer the poore and needie: saue them from the hand of the wicked.

¹ The Lord reigneth, let the people tremble: he sitteth betweene the Cherubims, let the earth be moued.

¹²⁰ My flesh trembleth for feare of thee, and I am afraide of thy iudgements.

²⁴ Because I haue called, and ye refused: I haue stretched out mine hand, and none woulde regarde. ²⁵ But ye haue despised all my counsell, and would none of my correction. ²⁶ I will also laugh at your destruction, and mocke, when your feare commeth. ²⁷ Whe your feare cometh like sudden desolation, and your destruction shall come like a whirle wind: whe affliction and anguish shall come vpon you, ²⁸ Then shall they call vpon me, but I will not answere: they shall seeke me early, but they shall not finde me, ²⁹ Because they hated knowledge, and did not chuse the feare of the Lord. ³⁰ They would none of my counsell, but despised all my correction. ³¹ Therefore shall they eate of ye fruite of their owne way, and be filled with their owne deuises. ³² For ease slaieth the foolish, and the prosperitie of fooles destroyeth them.

⁴ Giue no sleepe to thine eyes, nor slumber to thine eyelids. ⁵ Deliuer thy selfe as a doe from the hande of the hunter, and as a birde from the hande of the fouler.

¹² It is an abomination to Kings to commit wickednes: for the throne is stablished by iustice.

³ Giue not thy strength vnto women, nor thy wayes, which is to destroy Kings. ⁴ It is not for Kings, O Lemuel, it is not for Kings to drink wine nor for princes strog drinke, ⁵ Lest he drinke and forget the decree, and change the iudgement of all the children of affliction.

¹⁶ And moreouer I haue seene vnder the sunne the place of iudgement, where was wickednesse, and the place of iustice where was iniquitie. ¹⁷ I thought in mine heart, God wil iudge the iust and the wicked: for time is there for euery purpose and for euery worke.

⁸ And the abundance of the earth is ouer all: the King also consisteth by the fielde that is tilled.

¹⁶ Woe to thee, O lande, when thy King is a childe, and thy princes eate in the morning. ¹⁷ Blessed art thou, O land, when thy King is the sonne of nobles, and thy princes eate in time, for strength and not for drunkennesse.

⁹ Reioyce, O yong man, in thy youth, and let thine heart cheere thee in the dayes of thy youth: and walke in the waies of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes: but knowe that for all these things, God wil bring thee to iudgement.

¹⁴ For God will bring euery worke vnto iudgement, with euery secret thing, whether it be good or euill.

¹⁸ Come nowe, and let vs reason together, sayth the Lord: though your sinnes were as crimsin, they shalbe made white as snowe: though they were red like skarlet, they shalbe as wooll.

²¹ Howe is the faithfull citie become an harlot? it was full of iudgement, and iustice lodged therein, but now they are murtherers.

⁵ And in mercy shall the throne be prepared, and hee shall sit vpon it in stedfastnesse, in the tabernacle of Dauid, iudging, and seeking iudgement, and hasting iustice.

⁶ And for a spirite of iudgement to him that sitteth in iudgement, and for strength vnto them that turne away the battell to the gate. ⁷ But they haue erred because of wine, and are out of the way by strong drinke: the priest and the prophet haue erred by strong drinke: they are swallowed vp with wine: they haue gone astraye through strong drinke: they faile in vision: they stumble in iudgement.

¹¹ Yee women, that are at ease, be astonied: feare, O yee carelesse women: put off the clothes: make bare, and girde sackcloth vpon the loynes.

²¹ Stand to your cause, saith the Lord: bring forth your strong reasons, saith ye King of Iaakob.

⁶ Seeke ye the Lord while he may be found: call ye vpon him while he is neere.

⁸ For I the Lord loue iudgement and hate robberie for burnt offering, and I wil direct their worke in trueth, and will make an euerlasting couenant with them.

² For all these things hath mine hand made, and all these things haue bene, sayth the Lord: and to him will I looke, euen to him, that is poore, and of a contrite spirite and trembleth at my wordes.

³ Thus saith the Lord, Execute ye iudgement and righteousnes, and deliuer the oppressed from the hande of the oppressor, and vexe not the stranger, the fatherlesse, nor the widowe: doe no violence, nor sheade innocent blood in this place.

¹⁵ Shalt thou reigne, because thou closest thy selfe in cedar? did not thy father eate and drinke and prosper, when he executed iudgement and iustice? ¹⁶ When he iudged the cause of the afflicted and the poore, he prospered: was not this because he knewe me, saith the Lord? ¹⁷ But thine eyes and thine heart are but only for thy couetousnesse, and for to sheade innocent blood, and for oppression, and for destruction, euen to doe this.

²⁹ Is not my word euen like a fire, sayeth the Lord? and like an hammer, that breaketh the stone?

¹⁷ Then Zedekiah the King sent, and tooke him out, and the King asked him secretly in his house, and said, Is there any worde from the Lord? And Ieremiah sayd, Yea: for, sayd he, thou shalt be deliuered into the hand of the King of Babel. ¹⁸ Moreouer, Ieremiah sayd vnto King Zedekiah, What haue I offended against thee, or against thy seruants, or against this people, that ye haue put me in prison? ¹⁹ Where are nowe your prophets, which prophecied vnto you, saying, The King of Babel shall not come against you, nor against this land? ²⁰ Therefore heare nowe, I pray thee, O my lorde the King: let my prayer be accepted before thee, that thou cause mee not to returne to the house of Iehonathan the scribe, least I die there. ²¹ Then Zedekiah the King commanded, that they should put Ieremiah in the court of the prison, and that they should giue him dayly a piece of bread out of the bakers streete vntill all the bread in the citie were eaten vp. Thus Ieremiah remained in the court of the prison.

¹⁴ Then Zedekiah the King sent, and tooke Ieremiah the Prophet vnto him, into the thirde entrie that is in the House of the Lord, and the King sayd vnto Ieremiah, I wil aske thee a thing: hide nothing from me. ¹⁵ Then Ieremiah sayd to Zedekiah, If I declare it vnto thee, wilt not thou slay me? and if I giue thee counsell, thou wilt not heare me. ¹⁶ So the King sware secretly vnto Ieremiah, saying, As the Lord liueth that made vs these soules, I will not slay thee, nor giue thee into the hands of those men that seeke thy life. ¹⁷ Then sayd Ieremiah vnto Zedekiah, Thus sayth the Lord God of hostes, the God of Israel, If thou wilt goe foorth vnto the King of Babels princes, then thy soule shall liue, and this citie shall not be burnt vp with fire, and thou shalt liue, and thine house. ¹⁸ But if thou wilt not go forth to the King of Babels princes, then shall this citie be giuen into the hand of ye Caldeans, and they shall burne it with fire, and thou shalt not escape out of their hands. ¹⁹ And Zedekiah the King sayde vnto Ieremiah, I am carefull for the Iewes that are fled vnto the Caldeans, least they deliuer mee into their hands, and they mocke me. ²⁰ But Ieremiah sayd, They shall not deliuer thee: hearken vnto the voyce of the Lord, I beseech thee, which I speake vnto thee: so shall it be well vnto thee, and thy soule shall liue. ²¹ But if thou wilt refuse to go forth, this is the worde that the Lord hath shewed me. ²² And beholde, all the women that are left in the King of Iudahs house, shalbe brought forth to the King of Babels princes: and those women shall say, Thy friends haue perswaded thee, and haue preuailed against thee: thy feete are fastened in the myre, and they are turned backe. ²³ So they shall bring out all thy wiues, and thy children to the Caldeans, and thou shalt not escape out of their hands, but shalt be taken by the hand of the King of Babel: and this citie shalt thou cause to be burnt with fire. ²⁴ Then said Zedekiah vnto Ieremiah, Let no man know of these words, and thou shalt not die. ²⁵ But if ye princes vnderstand that I haue talked with thee, and they come vnto thee, and say vnto thee, Declare vnto vs nowe, what thou hast sayde vnto the King, hide it not from vs, and we will not slay thee: also what the King sayd vnto thee, ²⁶ Then shalt thou say vnto them, I humbly besought the King that he would not cause me to returne to Iehonathans house, to die there. ²⁷ Then came all the princes vnto Ieremiah and asked him. And he tolde them according to all these wordes that the King had commanded: so they left off speaking with him, for the matter was not perceiued. ²⁸ So Ieremiah abode still in the court of the prison, vntill the day that Ierusalem was taken: and he was there, when Ierusalem was taken.

⁹ Thus saith the Lord God, Let it suffice you, O princes of Israel: leaue off crueltie and oppression, and execute iudgment and iustice: take away your exactions from my people, sayth the Lord God.

²⁷ And the King spake and sayde, Is not this great Babel, that I haue built for the house of the kingdome by the might of my power, and for the honour of my maiestie?

¹ King Belshazzar made a great feast to a thousand of his princes, and dranke wine before the thousand. ² And Belshazzar whiles he tasted the wine, commanded to bring him the golden and siluer vessels, which his father Nebuchad-nezzar had brought from the Temple in Ierusalem, that the King and his princes, his wiues, and his concubines might drinke therein. ³ Then were brought the golden vessels, that were taken out of the Temple of the Lords house at Ierusalem, and the King and his princes, his wiues and his concubines dranke in them. ⁴ They drunke wine and praysed the gods of golde, and of siluer, of brasse, of yron, of wood and of stone.

³⁰ The same night was Belshazzar the King of the Caldeans slaine.

² And many of them that sleepe in the dust of the earth, shall awake, some to euerlasting life, and some to shame and perpetuall contempt.

⁵ This is the day of our King: the princes haue made him sicke with flagons of wine: he stretcheth out his hand to scorners.

⁴ They haue spoken woordes, swearing falsly in making a couenant: thus iudgement groweth as wormewoode in the furrowes of the fielde.

¹² Sowe to your selues in righteousnes: reape after the measure of mercy: breake vp your fallowe grounde: for it is time to seeke the Lord, till he come and raine righteousnesse vpon you.

²⁴ And let iudgement runne downe as waters, and righteousnesse as a mightie riuer.

¹² Shal horses runne vpon the rocke? or wil one plowe there with oxen? for yee haue turned iudgement into gall, and the fruite of righteousnes into wormewood.

¹⁶ When I heard, my bellie trembled: my lippes shooke at the voyce: rottennesse entred into my bones, and I trembled in my selfe, that I might rest in the day of trouble: for whe he commeth vp vnto the people, he shall destroy them.

² Thus speaketh the Lord of hostes, saying, This people say, The time is not yet come, that the Lords House should be builded.

⁵ And when hee woulde haue put him to death, hee feared the multitude, because they counted him as a Prophet. ⁶ But when Herods birth day was kept, the daughter of Herodias daunced before them, and pleased Herod. ⁷ Wherefore he promised with an othe, that he would giue her whatsoeuer she would aske. ⁸ And shee being before instructed of her mother, sayde, Giue mee here Iohn Baptists head in a platter. ⁹ And the King was sorie: neuerthelesse because of the othe, and them that sate with him at the table, he commanded it to be giuen her, ¹⁰ And sent, and beheaded Iohn in the prison.

⁵ But they made light of it, and went their wayes, one to his farme, and another about his marchandise.

¹ Then the kingdome of heauen shalbe likened vnto tenne virgins, which tooke their lampes, and went foorth to meete the bridegrome. ² And fiue of them were wise, and fiue foolish. ³ The foolish tooke their lampes, but tooke none oyle with them. ⁴ But the wise tooke oyle in their vessels with their lampes. ⁵ Nowe while the bridegrome taried long, all slumbred and slept. ⁶ And at midnight there was a crie made, Behold, the bridegrome commeth: goe out to meete him. ⁷ Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lampes. ⁸ And the foolish said to the wise, Giue vs of your oyle, for our lampes are out. ⁹ But the wise answered, saying, Not so, lest there will not be ynough for vs and you: but goe ye rather to them that sell, and bye for your selues. ¹⁰ And while they went to bye, the bridegrome came: and they that were readie, went in with him to the wedding, and the gate was shut.

³¹ And when the Sonne of man commeth in his glory, and all the holy Angels with him, then shall he sit vpon the throne of his glorie, ³² And before him shalbe gathered all nations, and he shall seperate them one from another, as a shepheard separateth the sheepe from ye goates. ³³ And he shall set the sheepe on his right hand, and the goates on the left. ³⁴ Then shall ye king say to them on his right hand, Come ye blessed of my father: take the inheritance of the kingdome prepared for you from the foundation of the world. ³⁵ For I was an hungred, and ye gaue me meate: I thirsted, and ye gaue me drinke: I was a stranger, and ye tooke me in vnto you. ³⁶ I was naked, and ye clothed me: I was sicke, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came vnto me. ³⁷ Then shall the righteous answere him, saying, Lord, when sawe we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or a thirst, and gaue thee drinke? ³⁸ And when sawe we thee a stranger, and tooke thee in vnto vs? or naked, and clothed thee? ³⁹ Or when sawe we thee sicke, or in prison, and came vnto thee? ⁴⁰ And the King shall answere, and say vnto them, Verely I say vnto you, in as much as ye haue done it vnto one of the least of these my brethre, ye haue done it to me. ⁴¹ Then shall he say vnto them on ye left hand, Depart from me ye cursed, into euerlasting fire, which is prepared for the deuill and his angels. ⁴² For I was an hungred, and ye gaue me no meate: I thirsted, and ye gaue me no drinke: ⁴³ I was a stranger, and ye tooke me not in vnto you: I was naked, and ye clothed me not: sicke, and in prison, and ye visited me not. ⁴⁴ Then shall they also answere him, saying, Lord, when sawe we thee an hungred, or a thirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sicke, or in prison, and did not minister vnto thee? ⁴⁵ Then shall he answere them, and say, Verely I say vnto you, in as much as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. ⁴⁶ And these shall goe into euerlasting paine, and the righteous into life eternall.

¹⁸ For Iohn sayd vnto Herod, It is not lawfull for thee to haue thy brothers wife. ¹⁹ Therefore Herodias layd waite against him, and would haue killed him, but she could not: ²⁰ For Herod feared Iohn, knowing that hee was a iust man, and an holy, and reuerenced him, and when he heard him, he did many things, and heard him gladly. ²¹ But the time being conuenient, when Herod on his birth day made a banket to his princes and captaines, and chiefe estates of Galile: ²² And the daughter of the same Herodias came in, and daunced, and pleased Herod, and them that sate at table together, the King sayd vnto the mayde, Aske of me what thou wilt, and I will giue it thee. ²³ And he sware vnto her, Whatsoeuer thou shalt aske of me, I will giue it thee, euen vnto the halfe of my kingdome. ²⁴ So she went forth, and said to her mother, What shall I aske? And she said, Iohn Baptists head.

²⁴ Striue to enter in at the straite gate: for many, I say vnto you, will seeke to enter in, and shall not be able. ²⁵ When the good man of the house is risen vp, and hath shut to the doore, and ye begin to stand without, and to knocke at the doore, saying, Lord, Lord, open to vs, and he shall answere and say vnto you, I know you not whence ye are,

²⁶ And as it was in the dayes of Noe, so shall it be in the dayes of the Sonne of man. ²⁷ They ate, they dranke, they married wiues, and gaue in marriage vnto the day that Noe went into the Arke: and the flood came, and destroyed them all. ²⁸ Likewise also, as it was in the dayes of Lot: they ate, they dranke, they bought, they solde, they planted, they built. ²⁹ But in the day that Lot went out of Sodom, it rained fire and brimstone from heauen, and destroyed them all.

⁸ And when he is come, he will reproue the worlde of sinne, and of righteousnesse, and of iudgement.

³⁷ Now when they heard it, they were pricked in their heartes, and said vnto Peter and the other Apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we doe?

⁶ He then both trembling and astonied, sayd, Lord, what wilt thou that I doe? And the Lord sayd vnto him, Arise and goe into the citie, and it shall be tolde thee what thou shalt doe.

⁴² And he commanded vs to preach vnto the people, and to testifie, that it is he that is ordained of God a iudge of quicke and dead.

²⁹ Then he called for a light, and leaped in, and came trembling, and fell downe before Paul and Silas, ³⁰ And brought them out, and said, Syrs, what must I doe to be saued? ³¹ And they saide, Beleeue in the Lord Iesus Christ, and thou shalt be saued, and thine houshold. ³² And they preached vnto him the worde of the Lord, and to all that were in the house. ³³ Afterwarde he tooke them the same houre of the night, and washed their stripes, and was baptized with all that belonged vnto him, straigthway. ³⁴ And when he had brought them into his house, he set meate before them, and reioyced that he with all his houshold beleeued in God.

² And Paul, as his maner was, went in vnto them, and three Sabbath daies disputed with them by the Scriptures,

¹³ But when the Iewes of Thessalonica knewe, that the woord of God was also preached of Paul at Berea, they came thither also, and mooued the people.

³² Now when they heard of the resurrection from the dead, some mocked, and other sayde, We will heare thee againe of this thing.

¹⁵ And haue hope towardes God, that the resurrection of the dead, which they themselues looke for also, shalbe both of iust and vniust.

²⁶ Hee hoped also that money shoulde haue bene giuen him of Paul, that he might loose him: wherefore hee sent for him the oftner, and communed with him.

²⁸ Then Agrippa said vnto Paul, Almost thou perswadest me to become a Christian.

¹⁶ At the day when God shall iudge the secretes of men by Iesus Christ, according to my Gospel.

¹⁹ Now we know that whatsoeuer ye Lawe saieth, it saieth it to them which are vnder ye Law, that euery mouth may bee stopped, and all the world be subiect to the iudgement of God. ²⁰ Therefore by the woorkes of the Lawe shall no flesh be iustified in his sight: for by the Lawe commeth the knowledge of sinne.

¹ I Beseech you therefore brethren, by the mercies of God, that yee giue vp your bodies a liuing sacrifice, holy, acceptable vnto God, which is your reasonable seruing of God.

¹² So then euery one of vs shall giue accounts of himselfe to God.

⁵ Therefore iudge nothing before the time, vntill the Lord come, who will lighten things that are hid in darkenesse, and make the counsels of the hearts manifest: and then shall euery man haue praise of God.

²⁴ But if all prophecie, and there come in one that beleeueth not, or one vnlearned, hee is rebuked of all men, and is iudged of all, ²⁵ And so are the secrets of his heart made manifest, and so he will fall downe on his face and worship God, and say plainely that God is in you in deede.

¹⁰ For we must all appeare before the iudgement seate of Christ, that euery man may receiue the things which are done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or euill.

² For he sayth, I haue heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of saluation haue I succoured thee: beholde nowe the accepted time, beholde nowe the day of saluation.

²² But the Scripture hath concluded all vnder sinne, that the promise by the faith of Iesus Christ should be giuen to them that beleeue.

²³ Meekenesse, temperancie: against such there is no lawe.

⁷ And to you which are troubled, rest with vs, when the Lord Iesus shall shewe himselfe from heauen with his mightie Angels, ⁸ In flaming fire, rendring vengeance vnto them, that doe not know God, and which obey not vnto the Gospel of our Lord Iesus Christ, ⁹ Which shall be punished with euerlasting perdition, from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power, ¹⁰ When he shall come to be glorified in his Saints, and to be made marueilous in all them that beleeue ( because our testimonie toward you was beleeued) in that day.

¹ I charge thee therefore before God, and before the Lord Iesus Christ, which shall iudge the quicke and dead at that his appearing, and in his kingdome,

¹¹ For that grace of God, that bringeth saluation vnto all men, hath appeared, ¹² And teacheth vs that we should denie vngodlinesse and worldly lusts, and that we should liue soberly and righteously, and godly in this present world,

⁷ Wherefore, as the holy Ghost sayth, To day if ye shall heare his voyce, ⁸ Harden not your hearts, as in the prouocation, according to the day of the tentation in the wildernes,

¹³ But exhort one another dayly, while it is called to day, lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulnes of sinne.

¹ Let vs feare therefore, least at any time by forsaking the promise of entring into his rest, any of you should seeme to be depriued.

¹¹ Let vs studie therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same ensample of disobedience. ¹² For the worde of God is liuely, and mightie in operation, and sharper then any two edged sword, and entreth through, euen vnto the diuiding asunder of the soule and the spirit, and of the ioints, and the marow, and is a discerner of the thoughtes, and the intents of the heart.

² Of the doctrine of baptismes, and laying on of hands, and of the resurrection from the dead, and of eternall iudgement.

²⁷ And as it is appointed vnto men that they shall once die, and after that commeth the iudgement:

²¹ And so terrible was the sight which appeared, that Moses said, I feare and quake.)

¹⁹ Thou beleeuest that there is one God: thou doest well: the deuils also beleeue it, and tremble.

¹³ Goe to now ye that say, To day or to morowe we will goe into such a citie, and continue there a yeere, and bye and sell, and get gaine, ¹⁴ (And yet ye cannot tell what shalbe to morowe. For what is your life? It is euen a vapour that appeareth for a litle time, and afterward vanisheth away)

¹⁵ But sanctifie the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready alwayes to giue an answere to euery man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you, with meekenesse and reuerence,

⁴ Wherein it seemeth to them strange, that yee runne not with them vnto the same excesse of riot: therefore speake they euill of you, ⁵ Which shall giue accounts to him, that is readie to iudge quicke and dead.

⁶ And with knowledge, temperance: and with temperance, patience: and with patience, godlines:

⁷ Litle children, let no man deceiue you: he that doeth righteousnes, is righteous, as hee is righteous.

¹⁰ In this are the children of God knowen, and the children of the deuil: whosoeuer doeth not righteousnesse, is not of God, neither he that loueth not his brother.

¹¹ And I saw a great white throne, and one that sate on it, from whose face fled away both the earth and heauen, and their place was no more found. ¹² And I saw the dead, both great and small stand before God: and the bookes were opened, and another booke was opened, which is the booke of life, and the dead were iudged of those thinges, which were written in the bookes, according to their woorkes. ¹³ And the sea gaue vp her dead, which were in her, and death and hell deliuered vp the dead, which were in them: and they were iudged euery man according to their woorkes. ¹⁴ And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire: this is the second death. ¹⁵ And whosoeuer was not found written in the booke of life, was cast into the lake of fire.
