¹⁵ And when she was baptized, and her houshold, she besought vs, saying, If ye haue iudged me to be faithfull to ye Lord, come into mine house, and abide there: and she constrained vs.

⁴ Let a litle water, I pray you, be brought, and wash your feete, and rest your selues vnder the tree. ⁵ And I will bring a morsell of bread, that you may comfort your hearts, afterward ye shall go your wayes: for therefore are ye come to your seruant. And they said, Do euen as thou hast said.

³ Then he preassed vpon them earnestly, and they turned in to him, and came to his house, and he made them a feast, and did bake vnleauened bread, and they did eate.

¹¹ I pray thee take my blessing, that is brought thee: for God hath had mercie on me, and therefore I haue all things: so he compelled him, and he tooke it.

¹⁹ Although we haue straw and prouader for our asses, and also bread and wine for me and thine handmayde, and for the boy that is with thy seruant: we lacke nothing. ²⁰ And the olde man sayde, Peace bee with thee: as for all that thou lackest, shalt thou finde with me: onely abide not in the streete al night. ²¹ So he brought him into his house, and gaue fodder vnto the asses: and they washed their feete, and did eate and drinke.

²³ But he refused, and said, I will not eate: but his seruants and the woman together compelled him, and he obeyed their voyce: so he arose from the earth, and sate on the bed.

⁸ And on a time Elisha came to Shunem, and there a woman of great estimation constrained him to eate bread: and as he passed by, he turned in thither to eate bread.

⁴¹ Hee that receiueth a Prophet in the name of a Prophet, shall receiue a Prophetes rewarde: and hee that receiueth a righteous man, in the name of a righteous man, shall receiue the rewarde of a righteous man.

⁴ And whatsoeuer house ye enter into, there abide, and thence depart. ⁵ And howe many so euer will not receiue you, when ye goe out of that citie, shake off the very dust from your feete for a testimonie against them.

⁵ And into whatsoeuer house ye enter, first say, Peace be to this house. ⁶ And if the sonne of peace be there, your peace shall rest vpon him: if not, it shall turne to you againe. ⁷ And in that house tary still, eating and drinking such things as by them shall be set before you: for the labourer is worthy of his wages. Goe not from house to house.

²³ Then the master sayd to the seruaunt, Goe out into the hie wayes, and hedges, and compell them to come in, that mine house may bee filled.

²⁹ But they constrained him, saying, Abide with vs: for it is towards night, and the day is farre spent. So he went in to tarie with them.

¹² But assoone as they beleeued Philip, which preached the thinges that concerned the kingdome of God, and the Name of Iesus Christ, they were baptized both men and women.

³⁸ Then he commanded the charet to stand stil: and they went downe both into the water, both Philip and the Eunuche, and he baptized him.

¹⁴ He shall speake wordes vnto thee, whereby both thou and all thine house shalbe saued.

³³ Afterwarde he tooke them the same houre of the night, and washed their stripes, and was baptized with all that belonged vnto him, straigthway.

¹⁴ For that loue of Christ constraineth vs,

¹¹ I was a foole to boast my selfe: yee haue compelled mee: for I ought to haue bene commended of you: for in nothing was I inferiour vnto the very chiefe Apostles, though I bee nothing.

¹⁰ While we haue therefore time, let vs doe good vnto all men, but specially vnto them, which are of the housholde of faith.

¹ Pavl an Apostle of Jesvs Christ by the will of God, to the Saints, which are at Ephesus, and to ye faithfull in Christ Iesus:

⁷ As it becommeth me so to iudge of you all, because I haue you in remembrance that both in my bands, and in my defence, and confirmation of the Gospell you all were partakers of my grace.

¹⁷ If therefore thou count our thinges common, receiue him as my selfe.

² Be not forgetfull to intertaine strangers: for thereby some haue receiued Angels into their houses vnwares.

¹² By Syluanus a faithfull brother vnto you, as I suppose, haue I written briefly, exhorting and testifying how that this is the true grace of God, wherein ye stand.

¹⁰ If there come any vnto you, and bring not this doctrine, receiue him not to house, neither bid him, God speede:

⁵ Beloued, thou doest faithfully, whatsoeuer thou doest to the brethren, and to strangers,

⁸ We therefore ought to receiue such, that we might be helpers to the trueth.
