⁵ And the children of the Prophets that were at Iericho, came to Elisha, and saide vnto him, Knowest thou, that the Lord will take thy master from thine head this day? And he sayde, Yea, I knowe it: holde ye your peace.

¹⁹ But his father refused, and sayd, I know well, my sonne, I know well: he shalbe also a people, and he shalbe great likewise: but his yonger brother shalbe greater then he, and his seede shall be full of nations.

¹ Nowe after the death of Moses the seruant of the Lord, the Lord spake vnto Ioshua the sonne of Nun, Moses minister, saying, ² Moses my seruant is dead: nowe therefore arise, go ouer this Iorden, thou, and all this people, vnto the lande which I giue them, that is, to ye children of Israel.

³ And the children of the Prophets that were at Beth-el, came out to Elisha, and said vnto him, Knowest thou that the Lord will take thy master from thine head this day? And he said, Yea, I knowe it: holde ye your peace.

⁷ A time to rent, and a time to sowe: a time to keepe silence, and a time to speake.

¹ Keep silence before mee, O ylands, and let the people renue their strength: let the come neere, and let them speake: let vs come together into iudgement.

²⁰ But the Lord is in his holy Temple: let all the earth keepe silence before him.

⁵¹ And it came to passe, that as he blessed them, he departed from them, and was caried vp into heauen.

⁵ And nowe glorifie me, thou Father, with thine owne selfe, with the glorie which I had with thee before the world was. ⁶ I haue declared thy Name vnto the men which thou gauest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gauest them me, and they haue kept thy worde. ⁷ Nowe they knowe that all things whatsoeuer thou hast giuen me, are of thee.

² Vntill the day that hee was taken vp, after that hee through the holy Ghost, had giuen commandements vnto the Apostles, whome hee had chosen:

¹¹ Which also sayde, Yee men of Galile, why stande yee gasing into heauen? This Iesus which is taken vp from you into heauen, shall so come, as yee haue seene him goe into heauen.

²⁵ But he said, I am not mad, O noble Festus, but I speake the wordes of trueth and sobernes.
