⁴⁵ And I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will bee their God. ⁴⁶ Then shall they knowe that I am ye Lord their God, that brought them out of the lande of Egypt, that I might dwell among them: I am the Lord their God.

⁶ Who is he then that can be able to buylde him an house, when the heauen, and the heauen of heauens can not conteine him? who am I then that I should buylde him an house? but I do it to burne incense before him.

¹⁵ Nowe therefore let not Hezekiah deceiue you, nor seduce you after this sort, neither beleeue ye him: for none of all the gods of any nation or kingdome was able to deliuer his people out of mine hande and out of the hande of my fathers: howe much lesse shall your gods deliuer you out of mine hande?

¹⁹ Howe much more in them that dwell in houses of clay, whose foundation is in the dust, which shalbe destroyed before the moth?

¹⁴ Howe much lesse shall I answere him? or howe should I finde out my words with him?

⁴ And howe may a man be iustified with God? or how can he be cleane, that is borne of woman? ⁵ Behold, he wil giue no light to the moone, and the starres are vncleane in his sight. ⁶ How much more man, a worme, euen the sonne of man, which is but a worme?

¹⁸ Thou art gone vp on high: thou hast led captiuitie captiue, and receiued giftes for men: yea, euen the rebellious hast thou led, that the Lord God might dwell there.

⁵ Who is like vnto the Lord our God, that hath his dwelling on high! ⁶ Who abaseth himselfe to beholde things in the heauen and in the earth!

⁷ Whither shall I goe from thy Spirite? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? ⁸ If I ascende into heauen, thou art there: if I lye downe in hell, thou art there. ⁹ Let mee take the winges of the morning, and dwell in the vttermost parts of the sea: ¹⁰ Yet thither shall thine hand leade me, and thy right hand holde me.

¹⁵ For thus sayth he that is hie and excellent, he that inhabiteth the eternitie, whose Name is the Holy one, I dwell in the high and holy place: with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirite to reuiue the spirite of the humble, and to giue life to them that are of a contrite heart.

¹ Thus saith the Lord, The heauen is my throne, and the earth is my footestoole: where is that house that ye will builde vnto me? and where is that place of my rest?

²⁴ Can any hide him selfe in secrete places, that I shall not see him, sayth the Lord? Do not I fill heauen and earth, saieth the Lord?

¹¹ If ye then, which are euill, can giue to your children good giftes, howe much more shall your Father which is in heauen, giue good thinges to them that aske him?

⁴⁸ Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with handes, as saith the Prophet, ⁴⁹ Heauen is my throne, and earth is my footestoole: what house wil ye build for me, saith the Lord? or what place is it that I should rest in?

²⁴ God that made the world, and all things that are therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaue and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands,

² I know a man in Christ aboue fourteene yeeres agone, (whether he were in the body, I can not tell, or out of the body, I can not tell: God knoweth) which was taken vp into the thirde heauen.
